I have to say, I'm so grateful to have found this place as recommended by my doctor. I looked into a lot of places in my area, and even though this was a slightly further drive for me compared to other clinics, it was always 100% worth the drive. I wanted to first off address how AMAZING the front desk staff are. Michael and Aaron, thank you both for being so kind, accommodating, and patient in every way. Thank you Aaron for helping me navigate all the pains of insurance and helping me understand the confusing aspects of my insurance I never existed lol. And also thank you for dealing with my insurance to get me more sessions approved a few weeks ago!!! I am so so grateful for the work you put in. For the treatment, I came in for neck/back pain, had a disc bulge in my neck. I've had chronic pain for almost 2 years now and I've been complaining so much that my boyfriend forced me to get it checked out. And for that, I'm so thankful because it led me here! My PT was Tony, and I have seriously never received better care from a medical professional in my life. My last physical therapist from Orange County years back did not provide me this level of personal treatment and I felt like my concerns were actually taken seriously here. I have had such a positive experience that I'm actually so bummed it's over! I genuinely looked forward to coming to my appointments every week. They have a website they link you to for all your exercises as well, which is great because I do so many of them that I forget which other ones I can do lol. Tony is truly an amazing individual as a person and as a medical professional. I asked so many questions and thought I was being annoying sometimes but Tony always answered me and always had me learning so much every time I came in!! I was initially overwhelmed by the number of physical therapist to choose from, so I decided that I'd pick the first one that stood out to me, and that was Therapydia in Saratoga. Michael and Aaron do a great job Manning the Fort behind the front desk, they offer great customer support online, I over the phone, and even in-person. They were able to make scheduling and billing a stress-free experience, which I truly appreciate! Hallelujah! Then, I was blessed to be linked to work with Christene Wang PT, DPT. She's a phenomenal human being and an amazing practitioner of her craft, and although PT is a science, her graceful approach and style of instruction added an Artistic touch to every session. She immediately gained my Trust! I was in a bad car accident, I have Multiple Sclerosis, and going through a horrendous custody battle; Christine acknowledged all of three, realized their impact on my injury, and factored them into a well tailored treatment program that took me further on down the road to recovery! I can't thank her enough, I hate I can still hear her voice encouraging me as I continue to do the specialized homework that she prepared prior to discharge. I saw clients of all ages, body types, and abilities during my 16 sessions, overheard a lot of conversations, the therapist obviously knew what they were doing, and I heard a lot of praise coming from their clients! read more

I have been attending many physical therapy sessions at many different places in the past year to sort out a multi-ligament knee injury. I am now postop ACL repair. My sessions so far here have been 10 times better than at my current HMO's sessions. Even paying out of pocket is so worth my valuable time. The therapist customizes therapy to my personal experience rather than gives me a cookie cutter plan which I could look up on the internet anyways. If you want someone to assess you and evaluate your own personal recovery speed and then treat and listen to you, this is the place to go. If these things are important, this communal space is light and airy and new looking. There's also water, coffee and tea which is so lovely. The parking is a breeze which is a plus when you have limited mobility. read more

I originally contacted the Therapydia Burlingame location regarding PT services for my back and legs after learning that they do manual therapy. I have been receiving PT from a different provider for more than a year and they did not provide manual therapy. So you can imagine I was happy to learn that. I called Therapydia Burlingame and was told the owner CEO Robert would check with my insurance Brown and Toland to get authorization since they look at it on a case by case basis. The front desk called me a couple days later and said yes the owner will take you as a client. I asked if there was paperwork I needed to do since it sounded too easy and they insisted everything was good. They said "no you're good." I had 3 PT sessions in late August and early September with a nice lady but all she did was talk to me, have me read a book, and show me exercises that I already knew. I asked about the manual therapy and she talked in circles but basically said she didn't do that. Granted I am a hospital professional and know that PT don't want to do the dirty hard labor work that their aides do. I knew that this place wouldn't work for me. I was always suspicious because I didn't see any other patients and my suspicion was confirmed when a few days later the Burlingame location closed for good. Not only that, my insurance company declined payment to them because they never got approval to provide services. So they lied. I emailed the owner saying that since they falsely claimed they could take my insurance and I foresee being billed, the Therapydia Saratoga office said "don't worry we will resubmit the claim ". That was October 2. Today January 2 FOUR MONTHS LATER after hearing nothing from Therapydia, I get an emailed bill for $400 asking me to pay it, with the email originating from the Burlingame location. No statement. No date of service. Hello??!! Uh aren't you closed? So 4 months later of no contact you send me a bill ? You falsely tell a potential patient you can take their insurance, don't bill the insurance, and 4 months later bill me the patient? Sounds like fraud. As I said as a hospital healthcare professional who actually knows how this works, Therapydia is highly advised to rectify the situation. I do have very close access to legal representation. Bottom line, these boutique PT places claim to provide personalized patient care but they are just ripping people off. Really very shady. Also my problem was taken care of by a former PT aide trained in Active Release Therapy which is manual therapy in its pure form. He even told me that yeah these PT places are just scams. Thank you but no thanks. Zero stars but no option to do that here. read more

I was nervous at first because I had a bad experience another clinic. I then switched to Therapydia. My first visit I met Tony. I hit the jackpot with him. Tony is friendly and so professional. I look forward to every week to work with him. He pushes you to do your best. The exercises he give me has helped me 1000%. Christina is definitely the best physical therapist I have worked with. Her attention to detail and clear instructions are better than what I've seen at OPTM or Quinn. Christina helped me understand why my lower back was hurting by explaining very clearly how the different muscles and bones. She gave me specific exercises to do which has great helped me. Also she focuses a lot on the breathing which is very important. Knowing the "why" is very important to keep me motivated! Also she keeps the sessions fun and engaging. I was in pain and called my medical health provider. Was told the next available appointment would be in 2 months. 2 months!!!! Yikes! Am so happy that a Yelp search brought me to Therapydia Saratoga. Met Celeste, my therapist. After my very first session, I could feel a lot of improvement happening already. Yes, I was achey from the session but it was a nice ache. ;-) I love Celeste! I have no qualms in recommending her...just don't eat into my appointments. Her professionalism and approach put me at ease during my first appointment. So far, she has guided me through several exercises. Courtney and the whole team at Therapydia have been amazing. I came post radiation treatments with severe numbness in my arm. Courtney has worked diligently to treat the problem and treat other issues that came up since. When I first started seeing Courtney, I couldn't sleep for more than 2 hours without severe numbness and pain. A month later I sleep like a baby. She is a true professional and a wonderful healer. Tony is so sweet and funny too, we bonded a lot and he did his best to make me feel safe and comfortable (I have really bad PTSD with social situations, especially being in areas with more than a few people) and he made sure my appointments were in the mornings when there were no other clients around, which is something I am so fucking grateful for you have no idea. We joke the whole session, and our banter bounces off eachother really nicely and it just makes my day. Plus, he helped confirm that a lot of my muscles are just constantly flexed! He worked on my neck muscles (which are really bad, and in almost some sort of constant pain) and now my migraines have mostly subsided. AWESOME PT Office. Yen Klofter at Therapydia is the BEST Physical Therapist I have ever worked with... and I have been to at least 12 that I remember due to injuries from playing adult soccer, volleyball and now tennis! From the minute I met Yen, I knew I was in good hands. He is a good listener, knows his stuff and to my delight, he aggressively adjusts my regiment based on improvements from me getting stronger or concern about particular exercises. He knows I want to get back on the tennis court and knows just the right exercises to work the muscles I will need on the tennis court. He also warns me to not go too fast so I will avoid injury. This office does not hand you off to an intern new PT graduate watching you, you work with the same PT who carefully manages your therapy plan and is constantly reminding me of the proper way to perform the exercise. Even though they have a terrific portal with videos of my exercises, I still do small things wrong. Yen watches and reminds me of the "correct" technique and has catchy phrases to help remember at home. And finally, I love the fact Yen and offers solutions to ratchet it up or to dial it back if it's painful or a little too much. That way I will still get my reps in until my next appointment when Yen makes his professional assessment. AND... the front desk is welcoming, helpful, cheerful & professional! They found an appointment within a day of my call. They sent me a summary of the billings to expect the next day. Sought PT for hip and leg pain, per my doctor's recommendation. I was treated by a student who had not yet graduated from her physical therapy program. She was to treat me under the guidance of a certified physical therapist. The Certified physical therapist did a partial evaluation on my first visit and never spoke to me again throughout the whole eight weeks that I had treatment there. The student PT was sweet and attentive but the exercises and stretches she prescribed only aggravated my pain. I went on vacation during which I suspended my homework exercises and surprise, surprise!! My pain subsided dramatically. When I came home, I called Therapydia to get back on their schedule. During my call, I mentioned that my pain was much better. Their response was "well maybe you should go on vacation more often". There was no interest in modifying my program given this feedback. Considering I have a serious condition called spinal stenosis, and they handed me off to a student and the certified PT she was reporting to took no interest in my progress, I cannot recommend them to anyone. read more

I think Courtney at Therapydia, is a fabulous therapist. She was always so encouraging and caring. She was careful to measure progress which was nice for me to see as well as for her documentations. Though I came for follow up therapy to my knee replacement, once we started working together it became clear I had another problem related to my left knee or hip. She helped figure out the problem and worked on my posture and walking. She was so friendly and kind. I always looked forward to seeing her. I would strongly recommend her to others.
