This review is long over due! I found Rhonda here on Yelp back in June 2021 and she had pet sit for all 5 of our fur babies three times now (once a year since then). The first time we initially met Rhonda for our meet and greet, we knew she was the woman for the job. The tribe gravitated towards her positive energy and were immediately comfortable with her. You can tell that Rhonda genuinely has a love for animals and she is able to build strong lasting bonds with them. All three times that my husband and I have used her for pet sitting services we have been thoroughly pleased. Rhonda is attentive to the needs of our pets and ensures she provides them with the upmost love and care. She has even brought in our mail, packages, and trash containers from the curb after trash day. We are super thankful to have found Rhonda for pet sitting services. Finding someone you can trust in your home to care for your fur babies while you are away isn't always an easy task. I was so lucky to find Rhonda on International pet sitters after our long-time pet sitter retired. She is beyond wonderful. What a different story Ring cameras tell. I've used Rhonda before, several years ago, and felt happy with the service she seemed to be providing. I relied on what she told me in her up-beat "we had a great time!!" daily reports. This time I have three Ring cameras set up outside. She did two consecutive overnights. I got home and watched a potty walk in our backyard, expecting to see our dog having a happy time, since that's how her texts read. Instead, I heard her issue nothing but curt commands and watched her repeatedly YANK him up by his leash. Very aggressive, very grumpy, very rude. He would get to his potty spot and she would say "hurry up! Potty!", and yank him back into the space she wanted him to potty in. The entire "potty walks" were under four minutes and they looked miserable. Then she came in and texted me about what a great time they were having. I ended up watching every single "potty walk" and each one was just as miserable as the last. What a liar. I will never allow this woman to pet sit for me again. read more

Absolutely amazing service from Rhonda! She goes above and beyond! We planned a short vacation for a weekend and needed someone to care for our young cat, Shika (less than 1 year old). This is our first pet (as adults) so it was our first time hiring a pet sitter as well as leaving her home alone for more than an evening. We first met up with Rhonda to go over the specifics. We wanted 2 feeding sessions per day as we have scheduled feedings for our cat as opposed to free feeding, playing with her to expend her energy, and just some companionship so she doesn't feel too lonely. Rhonda was happy to oblige! She also agreed to take in our mail and water my small herb garden as well. Though it rained the whole weekend so I don't think she did which is totally fine. She called a couple days before she was scheduled to confirm everything is still good to go and no other changes have been made. I had totally forgotten about our Blue Apron delivery when we met up weeks before and she happily agreed to put our the food in the fridge and meat in the freezer. Seriously couldn't thank her enough! During our trip, Rhonda came both in the morning and evening to feed and play with our cat, clean her litterbox, etc, everything we needed! She even sent pictures which were great! We have security cams around our home so she had stayed exactly 30 minutes for the scheduled care. When we got back, we got the notion that our cat may have established a connection with Rhonda and missed her! Lol! I trust Rhonda 1000000% and glad we used her pet service. She is very knowledgeable about pets and will even give them their medicine if needed. Not that we needed that since Shika is very healthy, but good to know in the future! Highly, highly recommend!! We travel a few times a year and have 3 cats that need TLC when we are away, even for a 24 hour trip. A few years ago, a neighbor referred us to Rhonda, the owner of There 4 U Petsitters. I shot Rhonda a text and she responded promptly and set up a day and time to come meet us, our pets and our home. Immediately my kitties fell in love with her and she fell in love with them right off the bat. Rhonda told us about her experience working with pets and how she adjusted each household to work with their needs and wants for pet sitting. She showed us all the extra services she provided and was up front and honest with pricing and options. She does not push a "sale" but instead she shows her love for animals, which is very easily seen from the first second she meets them. The first meeting, we filled out some professional paperwork with our info and our pets info as well as their vet info., etc. Each form she uses comes with a carbon copy. We trusted her fully and booked her right off the bat. We decided to make an extra key that she keeps on file whenever we need Service, and also for those "unplanned" last minute travels so she can come by and feed/play with our fur kids. The first vacation that we booked her for, she sent us updates with texts and photos/videos of our kitties. We knew they were in good hands!! She keeps a radio out for the kitties so they hear sounds and don't get lonely when no one is around. For us, we book her 2x a day for 30 minute sessions and sometimes she has so much fun loving and playing with our furballs that she will stay a tiny bit longer to play. I love it. Upon returning home, an invoice was laid out with times in and out for each visit as well as little updates with what the kitties did that day. I love reading those extras notes !! We've also received holiday cards from her company which is super sweet and extra special. Since our first booking, we have used Rhonda's Service a bunch of times and have never once had an issues. She is very reliable and dependable and works so easily with us even if we change a few visit times/days last minute. As a cat owner I've been spoiled. For 16 years my cat used an automatic cat box that would self clean itself every time she went. That meant I could go on vacations and not give a care in the world about my cat and her bathroom habits. Well now my senior citizen cat has developed arthritis in her hips so she can't squat like she did when she was younger. Now she just stands in place and wizzes right out the door of the cat box. So now I have what's called a top entry cat box which is basically a big rubber made container that allows her to pee standing up as much as she wants without making a mess. Even though she's a petite cat she GOES A LOT and requires never ending cat box scooping. It amazes me how much this cat goes. What does this have to do with pet sitters? Well my wife and I had a wedding to attend and since it was in Lake Tahoe we decided to stay extra days for vacation. Then we had the sudden realization... what about the cat box?!?! Our vacation was literally days away so we started calling everybody on yelp. What we found was super rude people who had zero interest or nobody would return our calls. Then came Rhonda from There 4 U Petsitters. Rhonda has a passion for pets and we couldn't have found a nicer person to trust in our house with our cat. Due to the last minute time frame she came over the next day to check out our situation and meet the cat. Our cat hates strangers, she hides away until they leave. Rhonda on the other hand she immediately liked and started rubbing her legs and meowing at her. I assume Rhonda rubs her pant legs with cat treats before coming over :-). Since it's just a cat she came over once a day for 30 minutes. If you have a dog she'll come over more times during the day to walk them and if you have scared animals or want somebody to watch the house she'll even stay the night. For our needs she came over to clean the cat box, feed the cat, change the water, get our mail, and water our indoor plants. She'll pretty much do whatever you require when it comes to your pet situation or house sitting need. Our cat loved Rhonda and I know that thanks to the text photos she sent of the cat interacting with her. She also kept a daily journal that was honest such as "cat stayed under the bed the entire 30 minutes". If you need a pet sitter I can't recommend anybody better. Great personality and work ethics. Unresponsive and unreliable. Quite frankly it's astounding that they even maintain their current clients. First sent a web inquiry on 12/16 for a consultation (since I was already on the site to check their service area and their rates). 2 days go by, no response. Fine, not everybody checks their emails regularly. Decided to call the number listed on their website on 12/18 Mid-call, I get a short, rude text saying "please text me." Fine. Explained my situation and the dates and services I needed a sitter. No response for hours. Sent a follow up text the next day asking if she got my last message. Rhonda apologized saying she was busy because of her husbands surgery. Okay, understandable, we all have personal lives. She told me she would check her schedule for a meet and greet and get back to me. This is 12/19. 2 days go by, I finally get a response on 12/21. Meet and greet is set for the following Sunday, between 1-2p. I agreed to the time Come that Sunday, Rhonda is a NO SHOW. I even waited till past 3pm, MORE THAN ONE WHOLE HOUR after the window of the time she gave me. (Who knows, maybe the pet she was sitting in the area had an medical emergency and she's running late) Finally, and really annoyed and frustrated at this point, I text her asking if we're still on for today. She apologizes and explains she got into a car accident. She asks me to give her other dates and times for us to do a new meet and greet. I text her back with times I'm available, and she wants to do is next weekend. At this point, there is no chance in living HELL am I going to wait till the weekend before I leave town, with someone who has time and time AGAIN demonstrated to be unreliable and full of excuses. She should've agreed to meet me halfway and accommodate with meeting outside of her normal business hours, seeing as how she's given me the run around multiple times. Furthermore, if I was out of town that Sunday (the day of the scheduled meet and greet), and Rhonda was scheduled to check in on my pets, would they not have been checked in on at all? She should've at least called or texted to let me know she couldn't make it, instead of just leaving me in the dark, which, I would imagine most of us pet owners would NOT appreciate I think I've been more than fair and gave her plenty of chances over the week that was wasted with her. We used the same pet sitter for many years, and we were very upset when she moved. As upset as we were however, we would never have found Rhonda other wise. She is an absolute Godsend for our entire family. When she first started watching our pets, we had two older dogs. One of them had horrible allergies and was going deaf and blind. Rhonda was so very kind and gentle with her. She would just sit with our animals and love on them. When our oldest dog passed away, Rhonda even sent us a condolence card. Rhonda has walked my dogs for more than a decade and I trust her completely. She has even house sat for us when we go out of town. A while back, my wife and I planned a vacation and since we didn't know anything about pet sitters, we boarded our cat at a local pet clinic for a week.
