Sze was wonderful to work with. Very professional and easy! Was a great experience. I don't usually leave my dogs with a boarder so my dogs were nervous, but she played with them, took them on walks, sent daily photos and they were able to run and play in a large yard and so they enjoyed themselves very much! I will use Critter Lodge again!

We had a last min family trip and needed a dog sitter for 4 nights. I message a few places and Critter Lodge responded within minutes. She gave me all the info I needed to know and a decent price per night. She also generates a contract for you and is very professional. During the stay, she continues to provide me updates daily and making sure my dog is safe. Communication is on point and I like the fact that she takes photos of my dog SoJu through out the day letting me know Soju is doing fine! I needed to extend another night for soju and she had no issue with that and said it was fine! I definitely will be using Critter Lodge again! Would recommend Critter Lodge

I am so thankful for Critter Lodge! I needed a place and fast to put our loving cat Simba. Critter Lodge allowed me to bring him that same day and when I needed to extended a couple more days, after the initial two weeks, it was hassle free. She is professional and precise. Sent pictures and videos almost every day which we highly appreciated! She took the time with Simba when he was shy and allowed him to come around to her during his time there. She cares for these animals like they are her own. I'm grateful to have found this place, would recommend and would use again.

The owner is very reliable. We boarded our two dogs for more than a week. We got pictures of our dogs every day. We will board our dogs at this place in the future.

The facility is very clean, and it's clear that the staff genuinely care about every dog in their care. The trainers are kind, attentive, and treat each pup like family, which gives us so much peace of mind. Whenever we travel out of state, Dog Den is our first choice for boarding. We love that they provide cameras so we can check in on our fur baby. The staff keeps everything clean, changes the towels regularly, and makes sure she is comfortable and well cared for throughout her stay. On days when she just needs some extra playtime and socialization, daycare is the perfect place for her to have fun with other doggos. We also love the photos update that were given throughout the day. We highly recommend Dog Den to anyone looking for a safe, caring, and trustworthy place for their furry family member! The facility itself is very well equipped, with more than 100 rooms. They also have separate isolation rooms in case a dog gets sick, which helps prevent illnesses from spreading to other dogs. I thought that was a huge plus. All new dogs are required to provide vaccination records, and they also do about a 20-minute temperament assessment before joining. Based on each dog's personality, they arrange suitable playgroups instead of just mixing all the dogs together. The staff are also very professional and attentive. They keep daily records of each dog's eating habits and bathroom activity, which really gives owners extra peace of mind. Overall, it feels like a very responsible and well-organized place for dogs.

It is easy to book your stays through the app and everything has ran smoothly for my experience so far. They require all records prior to your first stay to make sure the dogs are up to date on vaccinations, etc. There are also a number of enrichments offered at an extra cost to entertain your pup, and on certain days of the week they have specialty enrichments. On my pup's last stay we ordered a pup cup and I did not expect to receive pictures in email of her enjoying it. That made my day. There are always cameras available to check in on your doggy to make you feel at ease. My pup is always excited and always playing during her stays and she is excited to go in when we arrive, she isn't even worried about me heading off and she's still happy when we come back for her. Then there is the additional perk of your pup being wiped out for a nice portion of the day when you return. Thank you Camp Bow Wow and especially for having staff around at all times, and for making it possible to take trips with ease knowing our pup will be taken care of.

Scout loved going to CBW and could not greet the counselors quickly enough. I thought they considered Scout a part of the family. A couple of counselors, Azelynn and Justin, knew Scout her entire life. I guess I was expecting too much. At the end, Scout was just a dollar sign.

Had to be put in time out multiple times. I was constantly watching on the cameras and he was playing with other dogs but something about it bothered the staff. Nothing out of the ordinary from when he is with his friends at the dog parks or at his other daycares. I chalked up t up to the staff being inexperienced and new. But, also not the right fit for us. I know people who have had a similar experience there as well. Now today this happened and why I am posting so late after I went there. I would definitely be nervous taking my dog there. Just wanted people to know if you had a dog staying at Smart Parke in Brea today 8/16/26 a dog got out and was running in the middle of the street on Birch . Luckily the cars all seen it and stopped. The dog got all the way to the apartments close to State College where a woman walking her dog was able to hold it. The Smart Parke employee then was able leash the dog safely. If it was my dog I would want to know. Hopefully they told the owners. It was a medium sized short hair brown dog.

Because of Remi's advanced age, her vet did not recommend boarding her. Since Remi receives sub-Q fluids twice a week and daily medication, we didn't know what we were going to do. Our vet recommended Chrystel and gave us her business card. From the moment I text her, Chrystel was professional and courteous and asked all the right questions I would expect from a professional. When she came over for the meet & greet and to go over everything we & Remi needed, we knew immediately we were leaving our fragile kitty in the right hands. We received a professional contract clearly listing what services Chrystel would be providing and subsequent cost. With each visit we received a text with the time window of when she would be arriving at our house. She would then text pictures and a status update of how Remi was doing. Chrystel's veterinary medical background & experience makes her an invaluable asset to anyone who needs help with their pets.

I brought my dog in today after an extended absence while he was recovering from two TPLO surgeries. Understandably, he was very excited to be around other dogs again. Unfortunately, our interactions with a staff member named Monica were unprofessional. She informed me that my dog was out of control, but rather than managing the situation constructively, offering alternatives, or suggesting training, she simply stated that a new policy requires dogs to visit at least once a week. The manner in which this was communicated left the impression that your facility only accommodates regular clients and that my dog was no longer welcome due to his recent absence. One would expect a pet care facility to anticipate and professionally manage a dog's high energy on their first day back. This situation could have been handled with much better customer service. Due to this unwelcoming and unhelpful treatment, I will not be returning to your facility. I hope you will consider training your staff to communicate policies more professionally and treat both owners and their pets with greater care.

He was listening, he was following commands and seemed to be comprehending very well. It was because of the prong collar that was dugged into his neck whenever a command is given. Fast forward the two weeks...I was so excited to get him back and got instructions on how he was trained and to continue the training on my own. Now I don't have complaints on how they train, each person has their own technique however when I got my dog back with me alone, he was super anxious and scared. He wouldn't let me leave his side. Every time I got up he would get up too. Everywhere I went in the house he would follow. I get it because we've been apart for two weeks and he was afraid that I would leave him again. He really did not like the prong collar. He yelped one time when I took it off. It's not an easy collar to take off. I gave the prong collar a try for a few days and he listened but he was not the same happy dog that I was used to. He was withdrawn and did not let people approach him or touch him. He did not bark at all which was not him. He was also super skinny when I got him back, you can see his bones sticking out. They said he ate all the food I brought. I brought kibble, some home made food, treats and a new bag of fresh pet. I was told that he had completely finished all of his food. My dog doesn't eat a whole lot, so I was surprised that he had nothing left. I did not want anything back, I just know my dog doesn't eat that much and is very dry picky.l and hoped he was fed well. That part I'm not too sure on. When I got him back I did manage to weigh him and he was 4.6 lbs, he usually weighs about 5 1/2 lbs. He is now eating right and gaining his weight back but I still feel his bones. After a couple of days of using the prong collar I stopped putting it on him. He would lay where he was, very sad and distant. He didn't even want to play with my other dog, he just wanted to sit right by me when he had his collar. After leaving the collar off for several days now he has become a super happy and very playful puppy. He still obeys commands with treats of course. I don't think anything was wrong with the training my dog received. I think this place is for a dog who is a bit more mischievous and does not entirely listen. I also think it's more suitable for dogs of a larger size or breed or weight like my pit bull but she listens and is very mellow. I do appreciate the help that Hudson's Canine Kennels gave, unfortunately this did not work out for me or my dog.
