Ummmm what rock have I been under!!! We went to the location at the Block, but I am sure the quality is the same. The location at the Block is small, but very friendly and cozy. The employees were very nice! Unfortunately they were out of the pizza my boyfriend wanted, but he was very happy with the Supreme! I ordered the Notorius P.I.G. Now I should have started with I am not a huge fan of a deep dish pizza. Chicago pizza pie is not my thing, but I had not heard of Detroit Style before. Apparently it is the same as Chicago but with dough crust instead of pie crust. BOMB!! FIRE!!! FANTASTIC!! The pizza is big enough to share with one other, but we ordered two so we could have some for lunch the next day. We will absolutely be back!!!

This pizza was really good, loved the crispy edges and the soft dough! The flavors were also pretty darn good. Had never tried a Detroit style pizza but will now be back to try something new next time! Service was great and the food was made quickly!

This pizza is very good and unique. I don't think I'd ever had real Detroit style pizza before, which I'm told is what this is. It's thick square slices with delicious crispy browned edges. The pizza has lots of flavor, good shaved parmesan, and a good variety and combination of vegetarian toppings. It's very filling and satisfying. The ambience in 505 Food Hall is just ok, but the outside patio is ok, or just take to go.

The pizza place is located in a fast food court. The seating area is shared amongst several other restaurants. The pizza was good, $20 for a pizza. It is able to feed two people or one hungry person with a larger appetite. The pizza itself had lots of red sauce which I liked. It is a very THICC pizza bread. Where I'm from it is called a pan pizza (California). The edges of our pizza were burnt as seen in the photos. Likely necessary to ensure all that bread is fully cooked. Pizza took about 35 minutes ish give or take 5 minutes to be prepared after we ordered. We were quoted 20 and the extra few minutes was not an issue for us. Overall the place is good and I would eat it again if in the area. Give it a try and see how you like it!

Lunch creeps in pretty quickly in the day. And, being in the South Valley really doesn't leave me with much options. But downtown is a close enough jaunt, and somewhat remembered from time to time. This time, pizza was on the mind! A show of hands and Thicc Pizza it was! Well aware of time being an issue, I placed the order before leaving the office. The Notorious P.I.G. made the cut, along with a greek salad, cheese stixx and a side of ranch. Low and behold, my order was done within minutes of arriving to the 505 Food Hall! Whoot! I picked up my order and was informed that they were out of ranch and they sent me on my way. I walked to our table, and realized that, I paid for the ranch, but was not offered something in its place! So, I went back and managed to get a marinara sauce in exchange. Okay, that'll work. We opened up the boxes to dig in. Cheese stixx looked great and cheesy, salad was full with a good ratio of veggies, but very large pieces of lettuce. It was hard to eat. The star of the show, looked great! I was just shocked by the shrinkage in the whole pie itself! My last visit to Thicc, my pizza touched all four sides of the box. This one, had a good almost 1inch and half space on all four sides. Now the pie itself, was tasty. The crunchy edges, and the heavy toppings, including many of those extra crunchy, almost on the edge of being burnt roni cups, were all present! The Notorious P.I.G.is a 10/10. Thicc Pizza is where its at when you want that deep dish, chicago-style, crunchy edged, fully loaded pie. Come get it.

Tucked into a corner in of the 505 Central Food Hall, this Detroit style pizzeria serves up a decent pan of pie. We walked up and went with some recommended cheese sticks and the Brooklyn pizza. The cheese sticks came out quickly and we're delicious. Fresh baked dough with thick cheese on top. The Brooklyn pizza was a pan baked pizza with thicc cheese blend, organic red sauce, pepperoni, house pickled jalapenos, hot honey, fresh basil and thicc parmesan slices. It didn't last very long,... like the pager said these pizzas are "made for two, but sometimes devoured by one.". It was plenty. The service was friendly and engaging. The food hall had plenty of seating, and live music provided mellow tunes in the background. Just the right amount of pizza for the belly.

Absolutely 10000000000 percent THE BEST THING EVER TO put in my mouth! No kidding. I consider myself a pizza enthusiast and so for Mother's Day I wanted pizza. We found Thicc pizza and fell in love! Fresh ingredients definitely made a difference! We are traveling so I won't be able to go back but I certainly have higher expectations. I can't recommend this pizza enough! You need this!

The pizza was delicious! This is a thicker crust pizza with cheese kind of charred to the sides which gives it a pretty unique flavor - not a burnt flavor, but a crunchy cheesy flavor. The bottom of the crust doesn't have the charred characteristic but is nice and thick and crispy. I had the veggie, and my friend had the burqueno without cheese which they were happy to accommodate which was great. The staff was friendly and the pizza was fresh and baked to order. To top it off they also have the Boylan sodas which are a great treat if you're in the mode, cane sugar and excellent flavors. The pizzas are a good size, they advertise them as good for two and for me it did make two meals (took half home in a box). My friend was hungry so it was a larger sized meal for one. Prices are reasonable as well for something this fresh and tasty! The place is in the 505 Central food hall which I hadn't been to before. There's a good amount of both indoor and outdoor seating. There's an outdoor area that sheltered from the wind/sun as well which was great for a nice warm evening. I'll be back! Thanks to Thicc for bringing pan style pizza from my Detroit childhood to Albuquerque !

I don't really have a strong opinion on pizza styles but Detroit-style is up there with my favorite. As far as I'm aware, Thicc Pizza is the only spot in town serving up this style. Highly recommend checking them out and taking a friend to share. The prices are higher if you think of the pizza as single serve but really the portions are for at least two people. This last time I went, I shared with two friends and we were all happy campers. They note that the thicc-rita is not actually a margherita pizza but it does have some of the same components. It is simple, fresh, and fantastic. Burrata is never a bad idea. Note to myself: every time I go, I order the thicc-rita and then immediately note the Notorious P.I.G. on the menu which I really need to try. I am definitely a pineapple pizza girly and it sounds fantastic.

If I could give half stars I'd rate this place a 3 1/2. The pizzas are good but very greasy. I haven't had a lot of Detroit style pizza but it seems like a solid rendering of it. There's a good selection of toppings and combinations available and they have some of my favorite flavors of Boylan's soda. Both times I have been, they've had a sign with a limited selection of personal size pizzas marked as a limited time special. In a food hall that really seems like an odd choice, when one of the big draws is everyone in your group can choose something different! Their regular size is definitely big enough for two people to share.

THICC Pizza Co. is located in the 505 Central Food Hall. I honestly didn't want a heavy meal but this place came highly recommended by our awesome bartender Joshy from Moonwalk. It is without a doubt your best option in this food hall, and probably the best meal I had while I was in New Mexico. THICC serves Detroit style pizza. These 8" by 10" pan cooked pizzas are cut into 6 squares with the cheese burnt onto the sides of the pan. The corner pieces are definitely the best best. The three of us shared an order of THICC Stixx ($6) and The 8 Mile ($18) which comes with their thicc cheese blend, organic red sauce, pepperoni, ricotta kisses, red top stripes and basil. They also have amazing THICC ranch dipping sauce ($1/additional). A bit pricey for pizza but at least it was good. At least I wouldn't mind eating it again. 5 stars since we were in Albuquerque but it would be 4 stars in any other decent food scene where there's more competition.

My wife and I always split things the same way: she gets a slice of The Angry, and I go with The Pepp. The combination of spicy pepperoni and hot honey is absolutely incredible! It's so good you might even catch me licking the plate. Do yourself a favor and pair your pizza with the Lambrusco. The sparkling red wine complements the spice of the pepperoni perfectly. We also never skip the Caesar salad, which is generously sized and topped with a mountain of freshly shredded Parmesan. My only complaint has nothing to do with the food. Serving everything on paper plates with plastic forks feels completely out of step with the restaurant's otherwise great atmosphere. Investing in real plates, flatware, and maybe an extra dishwasher would elevate an already fantastic dining experience.

I asked the cashier if they offer calzones, he replied, "No, just pizza." Very disappointing. I was expecting a lot more and a true Italian pizzaria. As for the pizza, it was decent hut not great. Second, zero ambiance. Tables and chairs thrown together, and that's it. The music was too loud to where we couldn't hear each other. They only have two bathrooms which seemed to be occupied most of the time. Way too many customers to only have two bathrooms. The only saving grace was a very cute female server. Prices were reasonable. Place had too many employees, but whatever. No, I won't be returning.
