Well..our first visit. We ordered a massive monster slice each. OMG, we didn't know what we were doing! Highly recommend this parlor, we want to order subs the next time. People standing in line; get business

Cheese slice and pepperoni and green chile slice.

Richie B's is our favorite pizza place! The employees are friendly, we talk to the owner often and he's awesome! The pizza slices are huge! The crust is nice and crispy and the toppings are great. We usually get a salad with our pies and the salads are huge and fresh! This place is definitely the best place to get pizza in ABQ!!!

I tried Richie B's a few years ago and I couldn't remember it. I had several people tell me it's the best pizza they have here in ABQ. So I had to try it again. It's okay. 3 stars is A-OKAY. I still don't understand why pizza is so expensive in ABQ, but alas it is. Crust texture is good, but that's the only thing memorable about the slice. It's good, but nothing really stood out. I prefer Pizza Castle. Again, expensive pizza, but each bite makes you want more. I grew up in NJ where the competition for pizza is thick. So far in ABQ, Pizza Castle is the closest I've had that gives me a twinkle of home.

Not great. Staff were talking on their phones and texting while preparing my food. They were also eating and then touching my food. Service was friendly, but the pizza was just OK and I ended up feeling sick the rest of the night.

    Thanksgiving Day Pizza!

Made our way across town for what we heard was a Thanksgiving pizza that we had to give a try before the big day! The work fam and I trekked across town from the south valley up to the heights for this one. We ordered the thanksgiving slice to share and then big backed the menu with four more slices of pizza, an order of wings, cheese curds and a salad. The food came out in intervals which was nice, kept us busy snacking until we got all our food. The cashier was super friendly and made our stay quite nice! We were the only table there, but shortly after we ordered, their small dining room was packed! They seem to be a fan favorite for a slice of pizza. Everything we ordered was delicious! I highly recommend the wings, curds and salad. Be sure to get the ranch too, I'm positive it's made in house and oh so tasty. Ritchie B's is a thin crust style pizza, just so you know before you go! The thanksgiving pizza was definitely worth sharing between the four of us. It is fully loaded with mashed potatoes, stuffing, turkey and a side of gravy. Come check em out!

I've heard so much about Richie B's Pizza since moving to Albuquerque. I knew I wanted to bring my son to check it out when he came to visit. I finally had a chance to bring him when he came recently and it was a hit! My oldest son loved the Monster Slice, my husband and my youngest son raved about the stuffed tamale crust pizza. The hot wings were also delightful. Definitely check them out for his pizza!

Super family friendly pizza shop!! There's always families with kids when I come in.... Well when you offer a Monster slice, which equivalent to a whole pizza I can see the desire!! This crust is one of my top 3 in the city! Not too thick not too thin, cornmeal all up on the bottom!! Crispy bottom with a pillowy top!! This is legit!! Hole in the wall little space, but has all of the characteristics of a New York gem!! Everytime I've come in, it's pretty busy..... green flag.

Hungry & in the area we found Richie B's. We're always up for pizza - why not? We walked in and decided based on the posters on the wall it must be NY style. 2 sizes to order from 12" small and larger 18". If you're adventurous there's always the 25" pizza. The Small Supreme was plenty for us. It came out quickly and hot. The pizza was loaded with topping and despite the water content of some toppings the pie wasn't soggy. It was thin enough to eat as any New Yorker would - folded over. But you're not limited to pies. Subs, salads & slices are on the menu. To tame the sweet tooth there's NY Cheesecake or the perennial Italian favorite - Cannoli. If you love pizza and looking for different here ya go!

Came for lunch and I'll be back for sure. Decided to get the monster slice which was bigger than what we saw on the picture. The pizza was great though for how big it was. Lots of flavor and cooked well! Good spot on Abq for a good slice of pizza. I'd recommend!!

I really think that the things slice here at Richie B's is just something you have to try for yourself to truly understand. it's become a favorite holiday tradition of mine and undoubtedly something I will go out of my way to try every year. This review is very much about the Thanksgiving slice and not the regular pizza. The Thanksgiving slice is something they do every year around Thanksgiving for a limited time and in limited quantities. It features all the classics, including turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, cranberry sauce and stuffing. It's such an interesting and fun take on the holiday season and overall just really good. The first time I tried it, I definitely approached it with some caution, but I'm hooked. Same thing yesterday when I told my sister, I was going to get a slice and she hesitated to join me. But I convinced her to just try some, she also felt like it was super awesome. I will warn you to check their social media because again it is available in limited quantities, and they only do it for a limited time during the holiday season. I know they obviously have other pizza Ing a monster slice that maybe I will eventually have to try because it looks quite unreal.

Best pizza ever!! Absolutely delicious perfectly thin n crispy but still a little doughy crust. So many toppings to choose from. The service is always above and beyond and so sweet. Such a gem hole in the wall place don't skip it!

These are REGULAR slices, not the crazy one. Note my driver's license (for scale).

It's a lot like a real Mom and Pop Long Island pizza place. It's a place where you'd go if it was your neighborhood place, but you wouldn't drive to the next town for it. The pies are solidly good, though not great. The value is really pretty terrific: check out the size of those slices - two slices will fill up the average man at lunch. The people are nice. The room is okay - just what you'd expect. They keep it clean. Oh yeah: their chile drizzle oil is very tasty . . . and not inexpensive at all. If you're from Back East, Richie B's is a lot like places you've been - and that is worth points in a city of philistines that raves about notso-hotso pizza dipped in Ranch dressing (ugh). I like Richie B's enough that I now meet people here for lunch but I've twice come by when they have been closed during regular lunch hours for some problem that both times seemed vaguely Third World and we've had to find an alternative. (Say what you will about the Ranch Dressing barbarians, they run a professional bunch of shops.) So, I'm kinda between three and four stars here . . . 4.5 for value, 3.75 (better than okay, maybe not quite "good pizza; you gotta try this!") for food quality, 4 for the feel of the place and 3 for having their act together . . . I'm going to call it a 4 here on Yelp, but a qualified 4. Richie B's is definitely worth you giving it a try if you're on the fence.

Today we came here for the first time because we heard it's good and of course the novelty of the monster slice. This ended up being super delicious. Cool decor on the wall and the paintings. I love New York style pizza. I was able to finish my monster slice of pizza and green chile. Got my daughter a small cheese thinking she'd eat half or less than half and have leftovers but to my surprise she ate the entire thing minus a few crusts. Would recommend!

Like if you told me the owner of this restaurant is the head of the Sinaloa Cartel, I would not be fazed. And if you told me you interviewed the Cartel Boss and asked him. " why did you open Don Tortas?" I won't be surprised if the boss replied, "Well...there was no authentic Tacos & Tortas in Albuquerque, and so this is me doing community service....for the community..." And so I have to be very straight up. This place has some of the best Tacos and Tortas I've had outside of Los Angeles. And they have EVERY possible Salsa you see at a LA taco stand. I've had Mexican food in the likes of Denver, Dallas, El Paso, Phoenix and this by far is the best I've had, outside of the cradle of Hispanic Civilization, Baja Cali. The Tortas La Buchona was packed with every type of meat you can think of packing into a sandwich...Al Pastor, Polish Sausage....pork hind, eggs, cheese, jalapenos...almost took on a Cuban personality. The tripitas tacos were crunchy as requested, and honestly tasted better than Tacos Mexico down in La Puente California with less of the intestinal tastes. The Al Pastor with a bbqed pineapple on top was chef's kiss, was marinated just right, right amount of char, and both crispy crunchy and fatty, paired together with onions and cilantro... I almost forgot I'm in the dead winter of Albuquerque New Mexico circa January 2026. Side note: Going to jot down the soundtrack names that they're playing...Eres Tu by Klazykeroz, Reina Del Amor Wepa; what an experience. So glad I walked in here over Panda. When in Albuquerque!

Considering the $16+ price, I expected a bigger sandwich or a side of chips or something. Even a pickle wedge? Nope! I got a cup that was partially filled of au jus sauce for dipping and asked the girl to fill it up, which she did. It was like a big deal to do this. She was too busy reading a novel, while seated on a stool behind the counter, and I was interrupting her reading. The small sandwich sat in the corner of a mostly empty cardboard tray. Crispy Brussels sprouts had great flavor but way too much cayenne pepper (which adds nothing but heat) my husband ate them but said he would prefer less heat. I had 2 bites and gave up. I'll ask for that next time! It was the bomb. Hummus duo was good the watermelon radish was beautiful on the plate but gave both hummus a bitter flavor. Shrimp and grits. We live in Alabama currently and this was our least favorite dish of the day. Shrimp were cooked well and so were the grits but there was just something else it needed. Parmesan cheese and some onions maybe. Greek salad delicious. The flash fried chick peas made it. We needed more dressing and the wait staff was prompt and sweet about it. Spicy Lime Ceasar was ok till he requested more dressing then it was amazing. I was afraid of ordering it but the dressing wasn't too spicy . White sangria I had was disappointing it was more of a 1995 wine spritzer than a wine infused with citrus which is the very essence of sangria. Both adults also got the pork belly flatbread. I found it a bit unbalanced with too much sauce and not enough other toppings, and the base wasn't as crispy as I prefer. Speaking of crispy, we opted for the appetizer brussel sprouts, and they were a bit chewy and on the not so super crispy side.
