Espresso martini
Sarah M.

I love stopping in here with friends for espresso martinis. I haven't been by for coffee in the morning yet, but have it on my list to do so. Cocktails are great and I love the bigger space from the original spot across the street. Service can be hit or miss, but it is a bar, so I guess that's kinda to be expected. We stopped in the other night and they were consistently busy, so we went to order another round. They said they had "already done last call," but they had 100% not announced that to everyone inside, maybe just the people sitting at the bar, and it was an hour to close. Still a great bar to visit when you're in BRipp.

Thieves is always a vibe! I'm glad they opened the new space because it allows for more seating options. Service was great as always, our waitress was super attentive and we got lucky when we got there because we got a table right next to the bar so it was easy to communicate with all the bartenders. Since we were planning on just drinks, we didn't get any food but the food options do look spectacular so I do want to return for that. Honestly, this is my favorite cocktails spots in Broad Ripple so I will be returning soon!

Came to thieves when it was just a bar at their old location. Stopped into the new location for coffee. The vibes inside are very cool and the music is great. Came here with a friend for coffee, pastries and conversation. Got the cream pie latte and chouxnut. Latte was good and the chouxnut was okay - more so what I'd want as a dessert. Vibes are vibing Drinks are drinking

The new era of Thieves is bright! We've been going to Thieves for the past 3 years and last night was the most crowded I have seen it. It has fun seasonal drinks with complex flavors, a brighter interior, larger space, and the smell of coffee mixes nicely. I was initially hesitant hearing about their move from the dimly lit, intimate space just up the street, but wow, great move!

Such a cute spot! this cafe/cocktail lounge is a great spot to hang out with friends at anytime of the day. I had the Honey trap, it had a good level of sweetness without being too overly sweet. I do think I should have ventured out and tried something new, since its similar to other honey latte drinks. My friend had the Bloom Job and the presentation was so cute! It had a foam to with a dried edible flower. The inside is well decorated, but very interesting bathroom decor choies LOL

From the moment you walk in, it feels intimate, chill, and subtly inviting. The bartenders are friendly and welcoming, conversations hum throughout the space, and the red lit signs create the perfect backdrop for social worthy photos.

The gym I go to is always recommending this place so I stopped in after the Turkey Trot. It's so cool inside and they have a full bar. I got a hot chocolate and they offered to spike it. I accepted and it was absolutely delicious. I can't wait to go back at night and have drink there.

What a nice vibe in here. I stopped in to pick up materials for the Broadripple passport shopping event that happened here at the end of november 2025. The seasonal coffee drinks sounded amazing and I tried one that was a bit heavy on sweetness, but really made the shopping more enjoyable. I was impressed that this coffee shop was also a cocktail bar at night. The decor is stylish and the mood is comforting. Located on a busy corner where a starbucks used to be and across the street from there previous location. This combination of coffee and drinks should be a success! I know I will not hesitate to stop in here again.

One of my favorite places to have first date drinks. Casual vibes; lots of seating options, large drink menu. A must visit during the holiday season to try the festive beverages.

Such a cute spot! They've moved into the old Starbucks location on BR Ave. That means more of their great decor. Many neon signs with great quotes. The bar is pretty. More seating. Drinks are good. One of the better smores latte I've had. Good service.

This trendy coffee shop/ bar is super cute. I stopped in for a quick latte on my way back to work after running an errand and didn't want to leave. The staff was nice and the ambiance makes you want to sit down and have a cocktail. I had an iced pistachio latte with oat milk. It was what you would expect for an iced latte. It's the atmosphere and service that gets this place a 5 star review. I can't wait until I have the opportunity to go back, get a cocktail, exhale and just enjoy the space.

Such as great space and I love the concept of coffee and cocktails. I was greeted as soon as o walked in. I always like to have a croissant with my coffee and they asked if I wanted it warmed, heck yes!! Sadly it was cold in the middle and doughy, so I wasn't able to eat it all. What was warm was good and not overly buttery. However, I think I'll stick to just coffee. My coffee was great, a little on the sweet side but not too sweet that I needed to add anything. I could taste the honey and cinnamon and it was just perfect to get the day started.

I recently tried out the new Thieves location, which is only across the street from the previous location! I love that they took over the old Starbucks space, and something local went in. I think it's a great idea to serve coffee AND cocktails! It's definitely a concept that Broad Ripple was missing. I went on Sunday morning around 9am, and we were the only customers. We decided to enjoy our drink indoors and we were happy to see so many people come in and try out the new space. I ordered the shaken espresso but plan to try other items on their menu. I do miss that they don't have a patio space anymore, but the inside is so much more spacious. I look forward to going back!

Cocktails and aesthetic were cute. But what was not cute was the horrible service of their male bartender. Will never be back.

I had the gumbo and recalled it being yummy but again I was starving. Fast forward, I finished my nail appointment in ripple and had t eaten so I thought I give them a try. I got there early as the kitchen doesn't open until 5(not for sure if that's everyday). So I had a 15-20 minute wait which was totally okay with me. I asked my server which should I get: burger or wings and she suggested burger and I got the gumbo. The burger was underwhelming. Nothing special and the patty could have been a little thicker. I did appreciate the freshness of the burger salad. I like to cut my burgers. So I got up from my area and walked to the bar to ask for one. Didn't mind that at all but this is where I have a side eye. My server gets up and is like "I believe there are some back here" referring to their patio area. Proceeds to point in that direction and doesn't grab it for me. Smh. I remind her about the gumbo she apologizes and comes back out with it about 10 min or so later. The gumbo indeed was tasty. Has a nice kick that's not too much. However I could have used more meat. I had 4 quartered sausages only. The gumbo was my favorite and I'd return there for that. My rating is based on the spotty service. While she checked in on me, having me grab my Own knife after she got up did not sit well especially since at the time I was the only person there. And also the burger itself wasn't super filling.

I'm sick of so many restaurant bars being corporate sellouts and charging an arm and a leg for crap food and weak drinks. Alley Cat is for the people! The burgers and wings are solid and taste freshly prepared. They also have high quality yet affordable steaks supplied by our local butcher, you'll be hard pressed to find a better deal. Even the greens in the salads are pristine. They can actually make some decent cocktails too, great place to grab a solid old fashioned or bloody mary without being completely robbed. They have a few different bar areas: a pub/dining area, then a sports bar vibe to the right, and of course the dive bar off the alleyway and pool tables. A place for everyone!

Don't tell anyone else how good the Alley Cat Lounge is, though, so I can still have a seat. ;)

I had the 12oz ribeye which was on the thin side but overall was a good steak. I expected a grizzly steak with a good amount of fat but it was on the leaner side for a ribeye and the whole steak was edible. My sides were fries(crinkle cut) and salad (a blen of iceberg and green leaf along with other veggies and cheese). Served with Texas toast. Overall a good value meal! Worth stopping for. The atmosphere was ok. A little stale and preppie. I believe they have another bar area which is divided by a wall, I cannot comment on that if so.
