But I am kind of bed bound in a rehabilitation hospital. I have been this way since October 14 2025. The story is I have been a florist my self since the 80's. I also had 2 shops of my own. I was the first to be hired at Raley's here in Red Bluff..back then it was allowed to be run like a real flower shop, not like now where they do so much ready made, worked for them 17 years.Well I digress from main topic here. Anyway I grow succulents and design container and dish gardens. So I was tired of fresh flowers dying so I ordered myself a succulent arrangement. I was very disappointed and called the shop and complained. That was I thought end of story. Well later in afternoon when I was wheeled back from physical therapy I was surprised and delighted to see a very beautiful succulent garden that I love! It turns out, we both did! I appreciated the welcoming employees, but they also didn't hover. We were able to stroll the property, and admire all of the beautiful plants. It was really peaceful. Although I didn't buy anything, I spotted a few things in the gift shop that will likely bring me back.
