Located near the JC Penney's part of the Main Place Mall is this Things Remembered. The store isn't very large, but they do display many different items for all occasions, from graduation to weddings to gifts for a bridal party. I needed an anniversary gift and popped in to take a look at their stuff. They had silver picture frames which I could get engraved. The one frame I wanted had a the words "LOVE" floating above the 5x7 frame and was reasonably priced at $30.00. Unfortunately they didn't have it in stock, and was willing to sell me the display, which I didn't want. While browsing, they had a keychain of a slot machine on sale for $9.99 (regularly $14). My friend is a slot player, so I took the last one and got it engraved. The clerk "upsold" me on a more premium, bolder font for $5 more and the engraving itself cost $9. The engraving cost more than the item! I guess that's how they make their money... sell you items at a reasonable cost, and get you on the cost per word engraving. Lovely store, but wished they had more stuff in inventory. The frame I wanted was at the Brea store, located 1/2 hour away. Or, I could go online and get it done, and pick it up at the store for free. A-ok experience.

I didn't forget. Nor will I ever. Be sure to watch your feet. Don't trip again unless it's on purpose.

Hi I was wondering the prices on engraving jewelry if it was our own?

I love coming by here to look at their selection of fountain pens, inks, journaling supplies, and especially stamps! I hope they continue to add more varieties of washi tapes and stamps to their store as it's my new current obsession! Their prices are always reasonable and their workers are always super friendly. I love chatting with them whenever I visit :) Also love that they host fun learning workshop classes and events! Definitely check out their website for upcoming scheduled events if you're interested. There's a parking garage behind the corner of the street where the wall art is, which is typically free for 90 minutes I believe.

CUTE INDEPENDENT SHOP (4 stats)…read more There isn't much happening in downtown Santa Ana but there are a few hidden gems. Did I overhear that this place has been oven for ~10 years?! I stumbled upon this shop while walking around the small downtown and as I walked more east I questioned should I turn around? Right when I was able to this store popped in view and I had to go in! What a cute shop if you are into stationary and pens and etc. I love supporting small independent businesses so I was determined to leave with something. There were a collective of independent products from different companies/artists that sell their items here. I didn't expect to leave spending $70.05 on 5 tiny items. WAX SEAL ($20) - by Made of Honour. There weee a handful of styles available. Very nice packaging. SEALING WAX BEADS 100pc ($9) - by Fiona Ariva. Variety of stunning colors. WAX SEAL HANDLE ($9) - by Fiona Ariva. I believe this is the standard size that fits other brands. BOAT PEN CASE ($13) - by Luddite. I been looking for a small compact pen case for my very few ones that i own and this was what I was looking for. ANTERIQUE BALLPOINT PEN ($13) - I love this mini pen and how it writes. The store DOES sell anterique refills BUT not the mini anterique refills that is needed for this pen. You can order the refills online on Amazon. So here's what gets me about shopping here. - California State Tax (0.5%) - Orange County Tax (0.25%) - Santa Ana City Tax (15%) - Orange County District Tax SP (0:5%) - Orange County Tax SL (1%) ^^ Added an additional $5.95 to the initial subtotal. That's alot in my opinion! Cool store, with a checkout. Until the next review....

Recently, I came across them on a hunt for cute bag charms (thanks, Yelp Assistant) and I was blown away by the selection! In addition to tons of plushies, they have a whole wall of bag charms. I didn't find what I was looking for (something Disney and/or cherry-themed) but I found a cute charm for a friends birthday gift and the claw clips on the shelf below caught my eye because many of them were metal and large. Perfect for thick hair! The cashier confirmed this as well which made me feel confident and I can confirm they hold up with long, thick, hair. It seems like this place does a lot of limited drops so definitely get there early if you're looking for a trendy item. But, it wasn't too crowded when I went around 11am.

The only options were the Lunar New Year one. There was also a random softball plush. That was it, nothing else. No variety, no classics, no fan favorites. The selection was honestly disappointing. I drove out of my way for this. The display felt poorly stocked. It seemed careless and unprepared. Three stars only because the plushies were decent. I expected far more than this. .

Once I was home, I started seeing posts on social media of the newest Harvey's release for Mother's Day - a collab with the tattoo artist Sid - and the newest line is called "Tough as a Mother", which seemed so fitting after what I had just gone through, so I knew I needed this bag to add to my collection. We went to the First Friday release and was able to get my bag signed by Melanie & Dana Harvey, and Sid. The Harveys are always so nice! And their staff are so helpful - and organized! They keep the lines in order and moving pretty quickly! I just love supporting Harvey's! They are a local business, the Harveys are an awesome couple, and they have amazing products!
