High Heat Wagyu Burger on a pretzel bun with a side of crinkle fries
    Chelsea C.

Coaches was around a long time so I was very curious to see if the new tenants were going to be able to keep up the cool vibe coaches had. I have been to third base a few times. The first time I sat on the patio and ordered boneless wings with Parmesan garlic. The wings were great! The tables outside honestly seem very cheap. They are skinny and if a full table of people ordered food, I feel like there may not be enough space. The benches were also very suspect. They are skinny and flimsy with no support in the middle so it literally dipped when you sat on them. We actually opted to bring chairs from inside the bar to sit outside. Since then, we have returned to sit at the outside bar to watch a game. The service was friendly and efficient! We noticed that an extra pole support was added to the benches at the outside tables. That was very much needed and I'm sure they feel more sturdy!! Then we returned again and sat at the high top tables outside, but under the roof. This time I got the high heat burger. It's served with wagyu beef on a pretzel bun. It was fantastic! Everyone in my group loved their food; mushroom burger, third base burger, cauliflower wings, chili dogs, grilled jerk chicken sandwich. Pro tip: get the tots for a side!! Overall, Third Base Pint House is a 5! The outside open air area is hard to beat. They strung some lights for nighttime ambiance on the out side benches side. And there are two fire pits on the outside space on the backside. We heard these fire pits are not directly connected to a propane source, so they have to be manually filled once empty. This is the reason they couldn't turn them on for us when we were there last week.

Always a good crowd and all amazing bartenders and owners who actually remember repeat customers and super friendly to the new ones!

First time here. Spacious plus there's even an extra room in the back where you could have groups parties. I guess. very clean. Lots of TVs noise level was bearable great service. I had a burger and fries. The meat was Wagyu very juicy. The fries were just crinkle cuts nothing special but they were good. Burgers are served on delicious pretzel buns.My dining companions got the Coney dogs and liked them. I was there at lunchtime, so there were families there with kids and I believe there was a graduation celebration going on too in the back room. The bar itself is huge. I would definitely go there again.

First time here came here to watch the Monday night football game plenty of TVs and loved the sound. Food was delicious and came out faster than I expected. Staff was friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was pleasant and really clean they do offered lunch special I seen on the menu. Me and the commander fans of Columbus will be back to watch some games.

Went to Easton for a movie, that was a mistake....SUPER BUSY. Tried to eat there and everywhere had a wait. So we headed towards home. Stopped here since it's new and the lot had several spots. Large bar inside with seats on all four sides. Booths and high top tables all around. There are two dart machines/boards. at least fifteen TV's, an Ohio lottery machine, and a digital jukebox. We started with drinks of course, my man got a Truth and I got a whiskey sour with Makers Mark. For our meals we shared the Steak Fajita Tacos and some Teriyaki wings. OMG!!!! AWESOME!!!! The wings were crispy, moist and dressed perfectly. They came with ranch and celery. The tacos were delicious as well and the crinkle fries were good. with and without ketchup. While we were waiting for our food others were getting their meals. The nachos, onion rings and pizza all looked and smelled great. Happy hour is untill 7 pm Monday thru Friday. This location has only been open for about three weeks. Besides the initial wait for our server, everything was pretty good. We will be back!

What a great find... This is a cool sports bar. It has a sports bar vibe with plenty of tv's to watch sports on. The staff was very friendly and attentive. My meal was delicious. I had their mushroom blue burger, which came on a pretzel bun. It was well prepared and cooked properly. For a side. I had cauliflower as a side, which surprised me that it was steamed and not deep fried - which made the whole meal healthy... LOL... but seriously. The cauliflower was awesome. I would recommend this place as a good sports bar with delicious food.

My first instinct told me that I should skip this place due to the food not looking great in previous reviews, but since I live relatively close by, decided to give it a shot. My waiter was friendly and did a wonderful job, but the food just isn't good. This is a nice looking, clean sports bar with plenty of big screens, geared towards folks who want to throw back beers and watch games, but aren't really concerned about food quality. The best tasting thing I ordered was a side salad with honey mustard. Tried the boneless wings with sauce on the side, no seasoning whatsoever. The fries were basically Ore-Ida crinkle cuts that tasted like they were oven baked and not fully cooked as the middle was still cold on some. Sad face.

Coaches will always be a special Gahanna memory but I gotta tell you, Third Base Pint House got it right! Great food, great Ohio beer selections on tap, delicious food, friendly servers, good prices, and the same ol' Coaches patio vibes! Don't sleep on the onion rings! Best I've ever had! Hand dipped and seasoned perfectly.

Between pool table hogging and straight up saying we would not be given a turn even if we put quarters down, and a different regular walking up to us and telling us point blank that the owner/bartenders are racist and do not want us playing rnb or hiphop music on the touch tunes - this place was extremely uncomfortable and had bad vibes. The bartender was seemingly drunk by the end of the night and severely over worked, completely ignoring some of my friends who arrived later. Also she just let the extremely drunk regulars physically climb all over the bar, and kept giving them drinks. If you want creepy old drunk white men to comment on your overpriced darts game this is the place. The owner apparently hates POC so much they refuse to have any rnb or hiphop songs on the Touch Tunes - which I didn't know you could even do. We checked because we wanted to put on some usher but there was like no songs. No modern music either. Just some trash country songs, one in particular stood out to me as a man repeatedly sang how his girl rocks a beer gut. Yes that is a real song that played through without getting skipped. My girlfriend was told "I'm not saying you guys aren't welcome here but it's usually just us after midnight so..." referring to herself and other regulars. Again these people approached us every time. The drinks were cheap, thats all I can say good about this place. I don't drink and my friends each only had 1 drink considering you couldn't flag the bartender down, so we were definitely not drunk nor rowdy. We quite literally kept to ourselves, out of the way, and these people approached us. We were also told "people in Gahanna are just not very welcoming of others...". Excuse me? We are very familiar with the Gahanna area, some of us work/live here. Gahanna is very diverse and has some really cool and NOT racist spots. They were very clearly trying to get us to leave. We came to watch the nuggets v wolves game, and play some darts and pool, but definitely wont be back. And will warn any POC to steer clear of this bar. May as well have a sign saying "Miserable Middle Aged White People Only" on the front if you hate young POC so much.

My husband got the Korean BBQ Scotch Egg (so different but very tasty), BBQ glazed meatloaf with garlic mashed potatoes, lemon chilli green beans (he normally doesn't like his vegetables, but he said these were so fresh and tasty), and Espresso Martini Pot De Crème. I had the Italian Wedding Soup (very good but did not have the meatballs), Pasta Bolognese (pasta was cooked perfectly and drained properly, so it did not water down the sauce!), and Apple Pie Mousse. I also got one of their mocktails called Brambleberry Tea. I could have easily drunk a couple of those! I forgot mention that they pour some nicely chilled water from a bottle that they leave on the table when you sit down. That is a nice touch for us since that is our choice of beverage when we eat. We were treated so warmly by everyone from the time we walked in until we left. Our server, Tyler, asked if we had been before (and this was our first time), so he welcomed us and asked if we had any questions. He was attentive during our time and even asked my husband if he needed any more sauce for his meatloaf. Marvin, the manager, stopped by to see how our first experience went and wanted to invite us back by gifting us coupons for an appetizer on our next visit. Thank you! The atmosphere was rustic and casual. I loved the picture frames hanging (used like walls) and lots of exposed bricks. The bathrooms were clean, well-stocked, and warm. We are looking forward to coming back to try the regular menu!

Started with the tots, which were really good, but they weren't loaded, just cheesy and a little sauce on time. We asked for the pork on the side and didn't get it at all. My dad and I ordered brunch- avocado toast for me and the skillet pancake for my dad- and they were both cold. Not warm, mine didn't have any warmth at all. My mom's mac and cheese looked awesome, very warm, and her grilled cheese dip plate was too, and she loved them. I knew I didn't want to eat my meal as-is, and was going to ask them to at least warm it up, but my waitress never came back to check on us for so long that my parents were almost done eating (my dad ate his cold, but ice cold egg was a no-go for me). He had to wave her down to come back to us, and I just decided to not bother and they took it off the bill. She also forgot to refill my coffee, but the manager came over I asked for it from him. He explained that the toppings on the avocado toast make it cold, so I guess be warned. Disappointing visit for sure.

Our waitress was pregnant, so at first I tried to give the benefit of the doubt and assume she may have just been tired, but the service overall was pretty disappointing. The food itself was fine, but the appetizer took quite a while to come out. Normally the fried pickles are so hot you have to let them cool down before eating them, but this time they came out barely warm and we could eat them immediately. For spending around $80, the experience just didn't feel worth it. It was difficult to get checked on throughout the meal. We ended up having to get our own ketchup, and refills either took a long time or never came at all. We also asked for more ranch, but it took so long to arrive that the kids were already done eating by the time it came out because no one was checking on our table. I also really don't like the way payment is handled there. Having the card machine brought to the table while the server stands there watching as you pay and select a tip feels awkward and uncomfortable. We are good tippers, but the setup still feels very pressured.
