Really smooth and creamy chocolate without the usual mocha grittiness/graininess, with a great roasty coffee flavor to balance it out. The craziest thing is C&C (or any Bay Area/NorCal coffee shop) will charge you $7-8 for a mocha. This place was less than $5! Amazing deal for some high quality, house roasted coffee.

The lengthy line moved quickly with an efficient process by the staff. An ice cream flight ($10?) was ordered. Five flavors were chosen. Each was about half a scoop I would say. The flavors I tried are below. Most of the ice cream was fulfilling, but not as creamy as I would have thought being homemade. Black Cherry - This was black cherry ice cream with pieces of Michigan cherry pieces. This was plain and did not really taste like anything except for the cherry pieces. Cherries Moobilee - This was black cherry ice cream with chocolate fudge swirl, brownie chunks, and black cherry chunks. Again, the ice cream was plain, but the pieces of everything else helped overcome that a little bit. Cherry Pie a La Mode - This was vanilla ice cream with cherry swirl and pie pieces. This was my favorite. The cherry swirl combined with the small pie pieces made for an appealing treat. Butter Pecan - This again just lacked flavor besides the pecan pieces. Lemon Raspberry - This was lemon ice cream with a raspberry swirl. This was just not good at all. The lemon did not taste like lemon at all, and there was hardly any raspberry. Even with a small portion, I would expect the swirl to be in every bite. Will I go back? Debatable.

I would have happily waited if I was acknowledged or greeted in any kind of way, but when I had to ask for someone to help me and get a rude response, it tells me that the cashier doesn't care to help people. Customers are important at a gas station. The food being made should be second to ONE customer in line. If I could give zero stars I would!

Shannon created beautiful allergen-free custom decorated cupcakes that were not only delicious, but thoughtfully and perfectly prepared based on the inspiration photo we shared. Every detail was handled with such care, and it meant so much to know our friends and guests could safely enjoy something so special on such an important day. The cupcakes fit seamlessly into the overall picnic and celebration design and added such a thoughtful touch to the evening. The owner of Third Coast is a consummate professional who thinks of every single detail to give her customers a WOW experience. She ensures that her staff are highly trained in customer service and food safety. But beyond the technical components, you can tell that everyone at Third Coast loves what they do, who they serve, and the products they sell. I have tried brownies, donuts, cookies, energy bites, scones, and a few other items. They are all exceptional; they feel and taste like the "real" thing, which has earned my repeat business. Handcrafted, small batch, boutique bakery. Worth EVERY penny. Coffee is outta this world! Love the edible cookie dough bars and cinnamon gooey cake. You can tell they really care about the ingredients and their customers. Staff is extremely knowledgeable about food allergies. Gorgeous interior with large sunny windows and a cozy fireplace. AMAZING! You will not be disappointed if you purchase goods from Third Coast Bakery. I have tried a few of the gluten free sweet treats, and they are by far amazing. I am also very happy to see their products offered in locally owned grocery stores because getting to their brick and mortal location is not always convenient for me. Everything tastes so good! You can't tell anything is allergen-free. In fact, my family agrees that their baked goods taste better than traditional bakeries. The shop is cozy and inviting. Almond Crumb Cake is our family favorite. We can eat anything we want (no allergies), and think this place is a big asset to Traverse City. read more
