My experience at Third Street Dental has only been positive. The office is clean and welcoming and the staff were just as nice and friendly.

This review basically is just to echo every word Chad M. wrote as we seemingly had identical…read moreexperiences here. Truly, if a root canal is a must, Buckeye Endodontics does them as well and efficiently as could any office could. I found them online in a search engine through my insurance provider, which listed them among a handful of other endodontists in the area that were supposedly within network. Now, I have a rare federal dental plan that most dental offices have never even heard of so, imagine my surprise when I called Buckeye Endodontics and the employee on the phone immediately said "oh you have the AVN6 plan? Your co-pay will be $X" AND that number actually matched up to the number I'd seen on my fee schedule prior to calling! I am also 15 weeks pregnant and the staff here communicated with my physician to ensure they followed all recommendations for my safety and that of baby's, which included not using epinephrine in the anesthetic. I felt terrible for arriving a few minutes late on the day of my scheduled treatment but, when I called to alert them, the front desk employee politely said "as long as you're not more than 15 minutes late we'll be able to see you, drive safe!" Upon arrival, both the senior dental assistant (Miranda) and Dr. Simpson were aware that I was pregnant - I know that seems obvious given that they'd already communicated with my doctor prior to my visit but just 2 weeks prior to coming here I went to a dentist, told her I was pregnant, returned for treatment, and almost was injected with epinephrine if not for my asking what was in the numbing agent to which the dentist responded "wait, you're pregnant?!? Did you just find out?!" and I had to point out that, no, actually I had already told her staff that and they actually also had communicated with my doctor. The actual procedure was quick and relatively easy - the TV right above the dental chair playing HGTV sure made the time pass quickly :) Dr. Simpson was diligent to answer all questions I had following the procedure, gave clear verbal and written instructions, and soon I was on my way. I was advised to take pain medication before the anesthetic wore off but, with the whole pregnancy thing, I decided to chance it. And, as Chad mentioned, while expecting the worst, I never did experience any pain - even after the anesthetic wore off! Sure, there was some discomfort and the area was tender but no more actual pain in my mouth - truly life changing! If you need a root canal, look no further than Dr. Simpson and his entire team at Buckeye Endodontics, you won't regret it!

I would definitely recommend buckeye endodontics. Okay, with that being said. Let's talk about his receptionist. I arrived on time, got to the receptionist desk ,stood there for a good three minutes. The receptionist was clearly visible and knew that I had came in to the office. Never looked up and acknowledge that I was there. Never said hold on I will be with you in a minute. She finally came over, with an attitude like somehow I interrupted her day,and asked are you the 1:15 fill this out and shoves a clipboard in my face. She was so rude and nasty.

Dental pain is sickening. I'm pretty sure it's the worst there is. There's no escaping it either:…read morerelentless. When it comes to relieving it, you will not receive better care from another endodontic group. I've had 4 root canals in the last four years, three from Dr. Menke and one from Dr. Arens at the Dublin and Westerville offices, and each time, I have left feeling truly cared for. Professionalism and expertise is top tier. Dr. Menke has done the last three root canals for me and makes it a point to check on his patients the next day personally to see how things are. When was the last time a medical professional did that in our world? Best guy ever! The first root canal I had was an emergency two days before Xmas in '22 during a blizzard. A two-hour drive turned into three, and my whole head throbbed with pain. Walking out into a field and lying down was definitely on the table. If you know, you know. Dr. Arens took one look at me and in one minute, the pain was gone. The endodontist in Chillicothe I had gone to first actually had numbed my mouth, then looked down and said, "No. I'm not doing it. Your mouth is too small. Just have it pulled." Yep. Zero stars. Do not recommend. Dr. Arens saved my tooth. Despite my frequent brushing and flossing, old fillings have broken or fallen out, requiring more dental work as I've gotten older. Despite the 2-hr drive, Central Ohio Endodonics will always be my first choice for future work. The office staff is also kind and professional - very empathetic - and thoughtful, extending the exemplary dental care to the finish line. I appreciate everyone there. Do yourself a favor and just go there.

They were professional and clearly communicated with me each step of the way. I felt very well taken care of today. One way this experience could have been improved would be to provide a cushion behind your neck during the procedure. I felt it would have been much easier to relax if my neck could have rested against something since it is a long procedure. This would have really changed my overall experience. Besides this, I felt the experience was positive. They got me in quickly and the doctor was professional and efficient.

The lead dentist here is Stephen Webster. He is truly amazing. I am a grinder. I apparently abuse my teeth nightly. So Im always bruising the nerve of my teeth and sometimes fracturing them. I also seem to toss my night guards while sleeping and repetitively damage different molars.. thus needing an occasional root canal. The first root canal was done elsewhere and it was an awful experience. When the tooth didn't heal up I went in search of a new dentist and found Dr Webster. So glad I found him! Since then he has fixed the area that still hurt from the other practice. He has also saved a badly fractured tooth on the opposite side of my mouth with a successful canal and today has preformed another root canal on my back molar. I will fully admit I was terrified to have a second root canal after the experience with the first dentist. However, my experience with Dr Webster was nothing but positive. He listens to you concerns and makes you feel at ease. Both he and is staff treat you with kindness. He has this technique of numbing the gum that is so much more effective than any other doctor Ive ever been too. I mean even the "numbing" shots he administered are barely felt. Truly, my canals with him hardly hurt at all. I recommend him to everyone whenever I hear someone is needing a root canal. I trust him fully. If you become a patient with him, you will too. He is really good at what he does. Highly recommend him.

His honesty and professionalism cut him out of the equation, and he referred me to an oral surgeon instead. Even though I didn't become a patient of his, I'd still recommend him. It seems like a really great practice, and he's a very personable and professional Endodontist. When I did compare root canal procedure rates, they're definitely comparable. Check them out.
