My first time there last evening. We were there to see Turn it on again Phil Collins/Genesis tribute. I was very impressed with the sound quality in the room. I have seen the band before but they sounded even better at Wild Rover. Your light on table method was awesome to be able to turn on and not worry about getting server attention. Service and food was great. Highly recommend this place for dinner and a show. I have already stalked out future shows that interest me.

Wanting to beat the Saint Paddy's Day rush we stopped into the wild Rover's new location. Spacious outdoor seating on one side, very accommodating for the rowdy crowd. As you walk inside, you are in an Irish pub. There are seats and booths. Lots of privacy in the booths as well as an assortment of items for purchase. Lovely tea is served as well uncertain occasions. Teapots Irish banners, be deck the place. The beers are listed on the chalkboard as well as all of the pourable spirits. I had a pear cider, and my husband had some sort of Bach beer We enjoyed a Scottish egg and of course, the crispiest fried fish that my grandmother would be proud of! My husband had a burger with bacon and egg on it. He's a real American. It's OK. Service was great easy to pay attentive waitress came right over as soon as we were done, gave us the check and we were on our way. In the back of an industrial center you will find this jolly Irish pub.

Great craft beer. Awesome location with tons of space. They do an afternoon tea service on the weekends too.

Came here recently after stumbling upon this place. It's a great British Pub with actual pump style beer just like they have in the UK. We have now been here twice and enjoyed each one. The beer is great and the food is great as well. The property is larger than it initially looks and frequently host concerts and weddings. There multiple seating areas including inside and outside as well as a small area selling British style goodies. We are in love with Wild Rover and will certainly be back again

Fun place to go for craft beer. Nice indoor tasting room and a large back room with a stage that was having karaoke on a Friday night. They do serve food but I didn't have anything on this visit, but they have a large menu including wings, flatbreads, sandwiches and burgers. I love a brewery that serves food. I only tried one beer this visit, I had the Hops On For Nowhere IPA with finishing notes of grapefruit and citrus. Unfortunately I was not a fan of this beer, in my opinion it didn't have the qualities and taste of an IPA. Otherwise I had a great time here.

My first review of 2023 We stopped in while we were in the area and were really glad we did. The food here is truly a UK experience. We started with their Scotch egg and it was fantastic. One egg, split between us was a nice appetizer. He opted for the Steak and Ale pie with a side Ceaser salad. The puff pastry was light and crisp and absolutely delicious. The guineas was prevalent in flavour and the steak was soft and tender. For me, I got the bangers and mash, the sausages were a touch over done, but they were still flavorful just a bit less juicy. The mash and gravy were amazing. I had a side of fried Brussels and was slightly disappointed by their not quite fried nature. They weren't crispy or seasoned. Over all, great service and really good food!

The Black Widow BlackBerry Cider. It was SO tasty!

The plate is a really nice portion, with two pieces of fish. I've gotten used to seasoned fried fish, so for me it was a little bland on its own. However, the firm flakes of the fish really show how fresh it is, and I loved that. The tartar sauce is creamy with a delightful lemon taste to it. The fries were crispy, hot, and very well seasoned. The highlight, surprisingly, was the coleslaw. The seasoning and the flavor were absolutely delicious. It brings a mellow flavor to the dish -- not tart, just soft and mild, the kind of thing that cuts right through the richness of the fried food and balances the plate. Happy hour starting at 11am on weekdays is a great deal. During my visit, the place wasn't busy, and sitting at the bar just felt very chill and relaxing. The playlist fit the vibe very well, too! I appreciated Evan, the bartender, checking in several times during my lunch. I read through the menu, and based on my experience with the fish and chips, I'm really excited to come back and try many more dishes.

The menus were kind of old and a little soiled so if the food is good here I will never know because I wouldn't touch the menus. Sat at the bar and asked for the name of a beer they had on tap. She gave me a generic answer and it turns out she was right. It was just called Channelside IPA. Still the interaction wasn't very pleasant and in fact was a little awkward. Definitely didn't feel welcome. Also didn't help that I am naturally a smart Alec. All I know is we definitely didn't click. I settled in on a Smithwicks Red Ale. Finished my beer and promptly left. The experience was Meh. The beer was good though.

The veal was incredibly tender, and the gravy was packed with flavor. It was a satisfying entrée that came with two sides. For my sides, I chose the pierogies and spätzle. The pierogies were honestly my favorite part of the meal. They were fluffy, cheesy, and generously filled. So delicious. I could have eaten a whole plate of just those. The spätzle was soft and well prepared, but compared to everything else, I found it a little boring. The restaurant itself is very cute and has a lot of character. I loved browsing the selection of German snacks, candy, and other imported items available for purchase. It added to the overall experience and made the place feel unique. While I'm not that familiar with German food, I thought this was a pretty good restaurant. Overall, I found German cuisine a little more muted than what I'm personally used to, but I still really enjoyed the meal and the experience. I'd be interested in trying more of the menu.

I had such high hopes for this place. :( The selection is very limited and perhaps I missed something (entirely possible), but I did not see a price list for the deli case. We did find a unique assortment of other German products- some we haven't seen in many years. The restaurant portion was quite busy and the customers looked happy. We were flooded with nostalgia and left in hopes of dining in on a less-busy day. I ordered two meats, including the German bologna. During the drive home, my family and I noticed a terrible odor-- the kind where we started pointing fingers at one another. We never suspected that the package from the deli was the source. When we opened it at home, a nauseatingly funky, ammonia-type smell came from the German bologna. While the liverwurst smelled okay, I could not trust it after the bologna and decided against keeping it. Wasted time and money. Dang! The staff is super nice and that was truly a plus. However, I doubt we will be back. My family is very bummed over this.

There are plenty of televisions viewable from any seat. The seating is mostly bar top or high top. The beer list is clearly visible on chalkboards hanging behind the bar. A bartender greeted me and gave me water. For my drink, I took the chocolate old fashioned (13 dollars). It was strong enough and chocolatly to enjoy. For my main plate, I chose the chicken wings (10 for 17 dollars), half fat rabbit sauce (quite garlicky) and other half siracha. While the wings were not breaded, they were still fried. It was definitely crispy, but still meaty and tender. The sauces were flavorful, and the siracha had the right amount of heat. The ranch dressing was homemade and so good, I ended up drinking it. There could have been more celery, but it was fresh and crispy. They only had one dessert, and unfortunately it wasn't homemade, so I passed. My bartender was friendly, but busy. She had a helper, but lots of patrons to serve. Yet, she was still very nice and helpful when needed. The vibe is social and casual. I would have thought they would have more USF students, but mostly locals who are enjoying a good atmosphere. Outdoor seating is available as well, and it looks like you can bring your pooch too. Parking here is easy as it is located in the Publix complex. There is also a Don Julio's and Bundt Cakes nearby for dessert too. The Fat Rabbit pub provides great casual bar food in a social atmosphere. The indoor dining is large enough to feel comfortable, and outdoor seating is also there if you want to enjoy with your dog.
