    The standard Burger

Our first visit was very enjoyable. Our waiter was quite attentive and friendly, he was new and didn't know the menu 100%. But he definitely was incentive and friendly and how we were doing which we appreciate I'm not a beer drinker so I didn't have any of the beers. But it was Sunday night and there were multiple football games going. This is really a sports bar so when you come here if there's any sports on you're going to I'll be hearing them on the PA system We had the smashburger and the taphouse Burger vote for quite delicious. An actual nice surprise were the quality of the default season prize. Definitely recommend giving it a try, especially for burgers, we will definitely come back to try other menu items. Their menu seemed quite extensive so there is found to be something you'll like.

On our way to the bus depot in Manchester, we decided to get some lunch. The Thirsty Moose Taphouse was just a few blocks away. I got the wedge salad, and she got the BLT chop salad. There was hardly anyone there--maybe we missed the lunch rush. The service was okay, nothing memorable. The restaurant is large and can accommodate groups.

Great service. We were unsure of what beer to order and our bartender, who was very nice btw, allowed us to sample a few beers. Didnt have the food so cant rate that . But the ambiance, music, and beer options were amazing

All in all, not a bad sports bar. Nice layout with a TON of TV's (great choice for a game), a draft list that I have to assume is the longest in the area by a wide margin. The bartenders were also very nice and attentive. They are also notably open on Mondays, while most places aren't. Beer pricing seemed elevated. I'd probably just hit up a brewery next time, or perhaps one of the nearby places for a craft cocktail (there are some good options). My side salad was actually quite good. Fresh ingredients, nice balsamic dressing. The buffalo chicken wrap came out too fast and was dry, as such I have a strong suspicion it was precooked chicken that was simply reheated. Flavor wasn't bad though. Wouldn't get that again. The drink menu is in irritatingly small font for how dim the lighting is. Was squinting all night.

We really liked the Thirsty Moose. My hangover burger was very well done. It was good quality meat. The naughty tots were amazing. Those alone were worth the visit. The seasoning of the tots were spot on, and the queso was delicious. My wife said her carnita tacos were very good, as well as my daughter's fish tacos. My son in-law also enjoyed the seasonal dark ale. The service was great, and the normal, somewhat industrial vibe of the brew pub was nice.

Came here before a fisher cats game with a group of 7 on a Saturday night. There was plenty of seating inside. It wasn't busy at all. Our waitress checked on us multiple times asking if we needed anything else. They have a pretty cool menu! Although I did not order food, they have a robust menu with plenty of options. Aside from beer, they make some mean cocktails! Their cold brew martini was awesome! I'd come here again!

Great pit stop! We stopped in looking for a quick beer out of the 90 degree heat and were happy to have stopped. Nice bartender, great beer selection. Will likely return.

We really enjoyed the food a drink here. The local brews had tons of great options. The waffle fries chefs kiss... the chili was ok.

This is their second NH location, with the Nashua location already open since April 2024. Zo's Place is also operated by the same owners as Niki's Famous Roast Beef in North Andover, MA. The menu offerings here include roast beef sandwiches, subs, pizza, pasta, dinner plates, appetizers, rice bowls, and cold drinks (Coke products) from the cooler. The place is order/pick-up at the counter or eat-in, scan QR code for menu. There is a casual dining room to the right and a full service bar/lounge to the far right. There are flatscreen TVs in the dining room and lounge showing sports. I stopped by Zo's Place in Manchester on opening day since I wanted a Northshore roast beef sandwich and pasta for takeout. The place was not too busy when I arrived here around 3pm. After scanning the menu, I quickly realized that the Nashua and Manchester locations operate on different POS systems and the pricing is generally lower in Nashua. I ordered a Eggplant with Spaghetti ($13.99 plus tax) and a Jr Roast Beef ($6.49 special) with cheese (add $1.00), horseradish, mayo and James River BBQ sauce. My order was all set to go in about 12 minutes. I raced home to enjoy the food. The Jr Roast Beef was a bit messy from being wrapped, a decent mound of soft medium well roast beef topped with an American cheese slice and smothered with mayo, horseradish, spicy James River BBQ sauce between a toasted brioche bun. I know some folks would prefer the roast beef bloody rare, but I was all good with the medium well roast beef. The pasta was packed in a foil container with soft spaghetti, thick marinara sauce and small pieces of thin breaded eggplant. The baked garlic toast was buttery sub roll halves. The owner was actually in the building. They did a great job making this place feel inviting and relaxed. I would definitely come back again to order one of their hot subs and a specialty pizza.

It was our first time at this…read morespecific spot despite being frequent customers at many of their other Massachusetts locations. To say the experience was beyond disappointing in an understatement. To be clear, this review is not about the food. As loyal customers who visit Tavern in the Square often we already know and enjoy the menu. The bartender was polite and pleasant throughout the interaction, despite overcharging for food and drinks we did not order. However, the situation overall was extremely uncomfortable and disappointing. We ordered one beer and a green tea shot and before we even finished the drink we were abruptly told we were "cut off". This made absolutely no sense. We were not intoxicated and had barely even started our drinks. When we asked to speak with management the only explanation we were given was that they have had fights there before. That reasoning is COMPLETELY illogical what does that have to do with us as individuals? If that is truly their policy then why was not everyone else at the bar treated the same way? We tried multiple times speaking with the waitress and management to get a clear and consistent answer, but no one could provide one. The responses were vague inconsistent and frankly concerning. At that point we could not help but question whether we were being singled out unfairly. When we raised that concern the staff could not provide any reassurance or clarification they simply avoided the question. For context, we are loyal Tavern in the Square customers and have made over 80 reservations at various locations since January of this year. We have NEVER experienced anything like this before at any of the MA locations. This situation was embarrassing, confusing, and unacceptable. We will NEVER return to this location. Based on this experience we do not recommend this location to others given our concerns about fairness and how we were treated. I have reached out and expect a clear response from corporate explaining what happened here.

We did NOT eat here other than the popcorn at the end of the night, so I can't touch on that, but the popcorn did come in clutch after a few drinks!! We started with a couple beers. Service was great and super quick. I was disappointed that a lot of their beers had run out - I'm not sure if there's a better way to handle their beer menu but maybe a printed menu isn't the right choice since it seems they run through them pretty quick. Regardless, I found a couple I wanted to try and was able to create a flight with them. I loved that they have so many local beers to try from. We also indulged in their free open mic comedy upstairs, which was hilarious. It seems like they always have something going on to keep people entertained. Great experience, if we lived close, this would probably be a regular spot for us.
