I finally made it to Stash Box. I thought the decor from the lighting to the layout to the bar was very cool and place had a hip vibe. Our server was wonderful, friendly, helpful, and informed about the menu answering our questions about drinks and food. We each got a cocktail: my friend really enjoyed her "the strawberry one." I tried it and it was yummy, my other friend got "politics & government" it was a unique smoky flavor, I ordered my standard Tito's martini and it was beautifully put together but admittedly for the price point of the cocktails the glasses were small. We decided to try the small plates and started with the 3: Rangoon, pierogi, and meatballs. The rice cakes were the star of the meatball plate. The pierogis were good not great. The rangoons had a nice crisp and flavor probably my favorite of the three plates. We were still hungry so we split the smash burger and fries and in retrospect due to the prices and quantities of the small plates and how good the burger was I would probably just get that in the future. We also tried the carrots and they were underwhelming, I had high hopes for their flavor and they were good not great. I'd come back again and I'm glad we finally made it here. I had thought about getting "the s'more one" an espresso dessert martini but I was full- maybe next time. read more

a great space to catch up with a friend! fun cocktails and overall a nice dark, speakeasy-esque vibe. definitely good food but lacked the "wow" flavor i was expecting considering the prices were akin to boston. this is definitely a date spot for couples and friends alike. service was good and attentive and pretty quick with the food and drinks. they had a banana bourbon special drink that was to die for!! so yummy and carmelized bananas as the garnish was so delicious. overall a spot i would recommend for a nice but not quite upscale dinner. read more

Came here before a concert at SNHU arena, it's walking distance from the parking garage and arena - so super convenient! We decided to do drinks and apps and they were delishhhhhh. The charcuterie was a little pricy at $30, BUT when it came out we were very impressed with the selection! Our waiter recommended the surf and turf tartare which was very yummy, I personally liked the salmon side more than the beef. We also had the pork belly wontons but devoured those before I snapped a photo. I had the banana hammock drink (great vacation drink!) and my husband had stay classy (I'm not sure what was in it but it was smoked and made the whole restaurant smell yummy!) Our waiter was great, gave great suggestions and didn't rush us. He mentioned the menu is changing soon so we'll be back to check that out! read more

Make sure you ask questions before you order because some items come out differently then you might think. The braised beef dish came out like a stew and, to be honest, was not at all tasty. Stash Box has a great mellow, low key and welcoming ambiance, while also feeling both clean and good quality. The lighting levels and tone is just right, the must is low-mid level and a nice mix of older, mellow songs that blend in to the background unless you're focusing on them. The bartenders were incredibly welcoming and fun to talk to, and the cocktails were great. The beer list has some nice local options on it, though it's a rather short list. The food was all quite good - not perfect, but good. The hours are longer than some of the restaurants nearby also, in case you're looking for a place to have one or two more as the night winds down. Overall, I would definitely recommend checking it out. The pork belly Rangoon came recommended, but I wasn't all that impressed with it, and would pass next time. The place is still in its first few months though, so I imagine they'll polish the menu and prep a bit more with time. Would love to see some more snacks/side plates, like warm olives, pickles, deviled eggs etc. for nibbling on either after my meal while tying one on or when I'm not all that hungry but want some small bites to go with my drink(s). Re: the comment in different review re: "weak cocktails." Mine certainly were adequately strong, so maybe just a bad experience or inability to differentiate between "weak" and well-balanced/smooth. They'd also be $2-3 more in my area for that quality, so no complaints here. read more

Small pub in Manchester...absolutely rude and awful service. So many other places to frequent who prefer to have customers. Once and done.

The vibe is cool, chic bar with clever dishes. The food was very good, and I love that the menu had many offerings that I haven't found at other venues. My specialty rum drink was very yummy too. Our server was great. Sadly we were unable to try the bananas foster dessert, but it is something to try next visit. read more

Saturday night we decided to try Stash Box in Manch after seeing them talking up their lobster sliders. We get there and are told they are sold out days earlier. Ok, let's try something else, so we did. My partner decided to order a couple small plates consisting of the tuna crudo and the compressed watermelon salad. The crudo was as expected, but the watermelon salad was billed as watermelon, feta, balsamic and basil. What she got was something that had been doused with a pepper sauce. Not pleasant. I decided to get the Street corn & Chicken fritters, which were described as crispy blue corn fried chicken fritters, and a street corn salad underneath. When it arrived at the table, I should have sent it back immediately, but I didn't so the blame is also on me. There was in no way any fritters involved here. What I ended up with was dried out chicken pieces that were over cooked in blue corn. I had a major problem even getting a knife to cut into them. Once again I will state it was my fault not SENDING THEM BACK! We don't get out as often to dine in downtown Manch anymore and this was suppose to be a treat out. What a waste of $140 after tip. Really great service. We've been back a few times. Consistently good food. The wine menu is paltry but the cocktails are creative and yummy. Waiter and hostess friendly and welcoming. I'm not a fan of the little computer they hand you with the check... I think it makes it uncomfortable to be put on the spot and is way more intrusive than a bill set on the table... but I'm not a fan of technology in general. read more

It's going to be here a long long while with the quality of food and service, for sure. The people make the place. High energy vibe allowing us, the clients, to relax. Really a comfortable and fun place with a creative menu. We had 3 appetizers, the first were the pierogies. Amazing mystery sauce tonight YUM. The second appetizer was the pork belly rangoons, which I was shocked with as I did not imagine me liking anything to do with a pork belly. I absolutely fell in love with them. The sauce on the rangoons was amazing, and the crispy fried shallots on top were delicious. Our third appetizer was the Shrimp Toast, which has so many wonderful flavors, dancing and playing with each other in my mouth. Loved our server/bartender Devo! He was really informative and attentive. Then we got 3 entrees. The Rib Eye the Scallops and the Salmon! The way they seared these scallops and put them together with this amazing burst of flavors in the succotash is absolutely spot on. Can't be beat. The rib eye's croquettes and spinach are just right. No surprise but as they should be. The salmon with the coconut curry rice is a must for anyone liking fish, curry or good food. We're arguing over which dish is the best. Excited to have this cool, new addition to the Manchester dining scene! Staff is friendly. Drinks are creative and tasty. Décor is very cool, like a a mashup between a speakeasy and a British pub. The food was delicious. Started off with the non piña colada, a Manhattan and the pierogis. Flavors change frequently and they're really more like empanadas, since they were baked, not boiled. Still tasty. We had the salmon with curry coconut rice and duck breast. Both cooked perfectly and we found both meals to be very comforting on a cool night. They were able to accommodate a substitution request, which was very much appreciated. Dessert menu is limited to 2 items, so we shared the fruit tart. First time we went, Wednesday 6p-ish. As we walked in, we were greeted by a very friendly host who kindly told us it was going to be a few minutes and took our number since they can text you when your table is ready. We waited at the end of the bar (standing room), which has plenty of seats, comfortable vibe, friendly bartenders and cool decor. Our table was ready before we could order a drink. Our server was Zoe and she was very friendly and attentive. For our food we picked: Apps: 6 oysters and charcuterie board. Oysters were phenomenal and the board bigger than we thought! Food: Mushroom Ragout and Smash Burger, both were delicious and highly recommend them 10/10! Drinks that were consumed from the menu: -Basically a Salad- and -Religion and Politics- , both were delicious! We highly recommend this place! Our service was good and our waiter was accommodating. My husband ordered the seafood chowder and that was very good. My daughter and I ordered the pitcher of red sangria. They filled the pitcher full of ice and our glasses were completely filled with ice. We asked if they would take out the ice because it was already so watered down. When they gave us the pitcher back it was barely one quarter full. Not only was there barely enough for 2 people, it was awful. So we asked them to take it away and each ordered a glass of wine - a chardonnay and a sauvignon blanc. Both were disappointing. I ordered the meatballs appetizer. They were so overcooked it was hard to either cut or chew them. I thought they would offer to take the sangria off our check, but they did not. In my opinion, a good manager would have. Love Industry East but this is just too much! First off..... bartenders were always fantastic at Industry... a little man at Stashbox has the attitude he's better than me....no help.... No smile... no thank you. Sit down at the table and water service is in a shot glass. Ok.... Is that supposed to be cool? One sip and the poor hostess is coming around filling the glasses..... I don't get it. Drinks are good but expensive at $16. Starters were good but some came out cold ... fois gras was tasty but must have sat waiting for the others... pork belly Rangoons came out piping hot and delicious. Double Jameson on the Rocks hit the spot while the wife enjoyed the "Religion & Cocktails" drink. Scallop Crudo, the Charcuterie board (yummy), pieroges, four gras as appetizers were amazing. Nice varied menu, fresh made and delicious. I've been here numerous times but have been neglectful in not sharing my experience. Jeremy, Dan and the rest of the crew provide best in class service. You feel like you're part of an extended family. Without fail, Jeremy and Dan always come over and take the time to chat with us and get to know each other a little bit better with each visit. Dinner on Friday included fresh oysters, dinner bread (amazing!), scallop crudo (also amazing), perogies, and a Smash Burger, plus a couple of cocktails. DELICIOUS! Had a great time here while in town for a conference staying at the Hilton DoubleTree. As a solo diner I didn't feel rushed or unimportant. Great staff and great vibes. Host (manager maybe?) was the best, along with an awesome bartender. On top of that, the drinks were great and so was the food. I got the Basically a Salad (v good!) and a nice Malbec. We sat at the bar and were hovered over every second. We ordered drinks and then felt like we should order something else because we couldn't converse for a moment without the bartender including himself in our conversation. We were glad to see other customers come in so we were no longer the focus of his attention constantly asking us what we wanted to order. The drinks were measured and not a drop, or a half of a drop, past the measured pour. My wife had the Chicken and we we told it would take a long time and it did. I ordered the pork belly which turned out to be some type of gravy poured over French fries, so pretty much soggy French fries with some type of frozen cheese which I sent back because it was disgusting. The Chicken was good but overcooked and our neighbor at the bar told the bartender his pasta was overcooked as well but said he would eat it.
