When I went to her it was about two weeks before my wedding, she had to go in each layer remove the embroidery and alter each layer then reattach the embroidery. She did such a beautiful job! The wife picked out a few gowns and the staff lady was quick to provide a fitting room and the frenzy began. Three black gowns in different styles and each not meeting the desired appearance needed for a purchase. Excellent prices here with a huge inventory. The men's shoe section at Dillard's has always impressed me offering companies like Cole Haan, Polo, Sperry and Ecco including sandals from Reef. The only negatives here today are as follows: The upstairs bathroom in the women's section was out of order and I was directed to the bathroom on the first floor. This department store is a ghost town and in dire need of a facelift. The escalator was marked with a strange stain.

When I arrived I found that you couldn't just walk into Novias. There is a doorbell button which I pushed, but nothing happened. However as I was leaving, someone came to the door. I asked about renting a morning suit, but we seemed to have some misunderstanding between a morning suit and a tailcoat suit. But it sort of got beside the point as they don't seem to carry anything like that and would have to find out whether or not a supplier had them and then order. So, I gave that up but while there I saw an amazing selection of wedding dresses which, of course, I envied. A young girl was looking one over, a dress I really liked and know that I would certainly look far better in it than her; and probably more deserving of it too. Don't you agree? Quickly welcomed and asked if we are familiar with the brand, the staff is on point with customer service. The brand is relatively new and they want to make sure customers know what sets their products apart for the menswear pack. Athletic cuts and wrinkle free is what set them apart to us. Staff is excellent in their knowledge of the brand and fabrics. Declining the water, coffee and beer options offered us as we browse, we feel taken care of with their hands-off approach to our visit. Quick to help with sizes though and know they are available to assist if need be, we immediately like being here and stopping in. We walked away with a sweater and a shirt today. With athletic cut, non-wrinkle, contemporary cool, high end looking options to offer my husband who has an image to uphold in the world, we continue to love this brand. Most of the shirts are in the $95 range, where the blazers and jackets are in the $250--500 range. The store itself is very roomy, cozy and nicely setup for formal, casual and athletic wear. The company was founded in 2015 in Ann Arbor, Michigan by University of Michigan friends Steven Fisher and Lee Moffie, the current joint CEOs of the company. The two decided to name the company after an intersection in Ann Arbor, in honor of the town. The idea for State & Liberty originated with Moffie and Fisher believing men with an athletic build wearing off-the-rack dress shirts lacked a professional look. Inspired by Lulu Lemon and athleisure apparel trends that stray away from traditional cotton fabric, the duo prototyped hundreds of fabrics and dress shirt fits on professional hockey players to accommodate their 'V-shaped' body type. Eventually, they settled with their athletic fitting dress shirt made from Athletic Performance Fabric (APF). State and Liberty started as a fully self-funded small business. When I heard the down payment I about choked. Her price was OUTRAGEOUS . It was 3x the cost of the outfit. I apologized for "wasting" her time and she could not get me out of there fast enough. I went to another seamtress the next day and his cost was 1/8 of what she wanted to charge me. When I told him the estimate I had received - without mentioning any names - he asked if it was her. He currently is attempting to "fix" 2 wedding dresses she ruined. PRICES OUTRAGEOUS!!!! LOOK ELSEWHERE.
