My daughter said yes to her dress. She had 3 different shops she was supposed to visit and she found her dress here on her first visit. The shop sales ladies were very friendly, and they knew their merchandise and what would look best. My daughter initially thought she wanted a dress with straps or sleeves with the cut straight across her chest and they had some lovely dresses like that but when presented with a slight "v" neckline and strapless, she fell in love with it. The sales lady was great at pinning and tucking in the fabric so she could get a better feel for the look of the dress as she is a size 6 and most dress samples are a size 12-20. The sales lady worked her magic, and my daughter ordered her dress. I was surprised that it takes about 8-9 months for the dress to arrive. Then 3 months for alterations. Wonderland Bridal was my very first ever dress shopping experience and I seriously cannot thank Alicyn enough for making it such a memorable experience for me and my family. We made an appointment a month in advance due to covid which is the only way to schedule a fitting so be sure to plan ahead. I was also informed you are able to bring up to two guests with you and all are asked to wear a mask. As soon as we walked in both Alicyn (one of owners) were there to greet us at the door and I could tell they were just as excited as we were. Alicyn and staff all wore their masks my entire appointment and I could tell they were taking necessary Covid precautions throughout the store based on cleanliness, hand sanitizers, etc. From there we were escorted to our private fitting area that was very intimate for my family and I. Seeing my name written in the room was especially special. I think it was at that moment it started feeling real. They definitely know how to make a gal feel special. They also have cute little signs for your guests to hold up with their dress likings. My niece had a blast with those. The appointment itself took a little over an hour and half with the paperwork at end as I was able to try on six or seven different style dresses. Alicyn made a spur of the moment suggestion and asked my niece if she wanted to try on a flower girl dress so she too could feel like a princess. Now, I know this is supposed to be my day but seeing my niece in that dress and the glow on her five year old face lit me up inside it was great! Absolutely love this place and will always recommend to my fellow brides! First of all this place is cute and spotless. With covid, they are careful with masks and sanitizer and I washed my hands before trying anything on. Secondly the staff is AMAZING. They know how to have conversations and actually care about what you're saying. I was a bit scared because I've heard some bridal shops are stuck up, this place was not the case. I had a great experience when I first purchased my gown but within less than a month I had dress regret and wanted to cancel but was unable to as there are no refunds (even though it had been less than 20 days since the order was placed). Anyway, I am now disappointed in my dress and I don't really have the budget to just get a different one. I wish there was some kind of grace period for non rush orders. This was the first boutique I went to days after getting engaged. I had some bridesmaids in town and they really wanted to see me in dresses. I really hadn't been able to fully process my engagement but I was pumped to get started. Everyone in the boutique was very kind and accommodating. My bridesmaids brought some mimosas and the consultants grabbed some cups so we could enjoy the mimosas in the store. My constant was really good a pulling dresses that were pretty. I explained what I was looking for and she grabbed some dresses that were just over budget and had some aspect of what I described. The store has beautiful dresses but it doesn't seem like there is a huge selection. The first dress I put on was pretty but I wasn't obsessed. It was my first ever wedding dress to try on and I was very newly engaged so it was all so exciting. I really thought the dress was nice but I wasn't convinced because I didn't full on love it. I told the consultant a few things I didn't love about it so we moved on and tried a few others. I wasn't sold on any of the others so I put the first one on again just to see. I was still not totally in love. Then the consultant was like "lets play a game" and walked me though each step of my wedding day. She talked about waking up in the morning and getting ready with the bridesmaids who were there with me. She got down to the "you open the doors and there is your fiancé waiting for you at the end of the aisle". I lost it. I got so emotional because I was so newly engaged that I hadn't even thought of that moment. So I had this huge emotional reaction in a dress I didn't love. It felt like that happened just because she was trying to close the deal - which I get is her job but it felt super manipulative and overwhelming when she knew this was all new to me. When I did find my dress (at another shop) I was so happy and excited and knew it was mine but I felt a little cheated that the emotion was taken out because of a saleswoman. So yeah, watch out for that. Overall I had a good experience here and I would recommend friends to go here but they just didn't have my dress - no matter how hard they tried to convince me that they did. read more
