In the far corners they have a mechanic shop, a gas station and a cannabis shop. There are a few other businesses half hidden in the back cul-de-sac area behind the diner- easy to miss. There's plenty of parking to stop here with a swift in and out.

PDQ sits just on the far corner of the area as well. But there's also a dry cleaners, barbers, a nail salon & hair salon, dog groomers, a whole spa, pool supplies, a dentist and a Starbucks & bank on the opposite side (plus more). This place is a few miles outside of town and truly fell off the edge of the end of the world. The chances of you stopping in as you drive by to give it a try are about zero. It's clearly a local's place. I stopped by around lunchtime and walked into a "kuriky" combination of low-end convenience store, low-end sub shop and dive bar. The store is clearly focused on grabbing a six pack and a bag of snacks and maybe a smoke. Other than that, not so much. The sub menu is a pale imitation of the one posted here three years ago. There are many less choices. I had a roast beef sub with two choices of cheese and very few choices of veges and dressings. It was served on an ice-cold roll. It was the kind of food I call fuel. Filling but that's it! The small dive bar was more divey than most and was very dark. I was the only one there. The saving grace of my visit was the wonderful manager/bartender! This lady was a delightful conversationalist! I munched on my meh sub and washed it down with a bottle of Corona for less than $10. You really need to manage your expectations here. Any instrument, any level. Whether you need solo rep for district competitions, band arrangements for your school, or lesson material for private study - RBC has it. They have a recital space as well, only $25 for either a morning or afternoon time slot (I believe you get the room for 3-4 hours). They are not open on Sunday's, recitals must be during store hours. Book 2 months in advance. There is a baby grand piano to use, plenty of chairs (the room opens for double space if needed). They'll even set up a table with coffee if you ask (no extra charge!). Plenty of parking and easy to find. They offer a teacher discount as well. A table is just inside the entrance with private teacher business cards ... Check it out if you're searching for one! They do not sell instruments or supplies. They do not offer lessons. It is strictly a sheet music store :-)

The Wildwood Antique Mall of Lakeland is part of the Wildwood Antique Mall chain. Wildwood Antique Mall claims to be one of the largest antique dealers in Florida. It was started in 2011, when 77-year-old Manny Pesco took his last $4,000 from his former auction business that had closed because of the 2008 recession and invested the money into the first Wildwood Antique Mall that took its name from the intersection it is located on. Other locations opened in Eustis, Vero Beach, and Titusville opened in the intervening years and the investment turned out to be a good one since all of the locations do around 5 million dollars annually. What makes this antique mall different from the other stores in the chain is the abundance of merchandise available from the theme parks. I found booths for both Universal and Disney items. The fun starts when you walk in the door and there is a carriage from Disney's Port Orleans resort out front and you are greeted by a velociraptor straight out of Universal Studios just inside the door. Wildwood Antique Mall of Lakeland has all of the typical booths of antiques you would expect to find but my favorite booths were the ones filled with Disney and Universal Studios merchandise. Recycling the Magic had a Splash Mountain log flume car, Vault Collectibles sells Disney and Universal studios props, and Melly's Remarket sells Disney art. My favorite booth was the Jurassic World Tribute store in the back of mall with a ton of Universal Studio items. They had an extensive horror collection and many other one of a kind items. I especially loved all of the Haunted Mansion items I found throughout the mall. If you are a theme park fan like me this is a must stop if you are in Lakeland. Prices for the real collectibles were more than I could afford but I found a Haunted Mansion Loungefly for only $25. There is something for everyone. Allow a few hours for a visit because this antique mall feels never ending. I could have easily spent all day here.
