For eleven years we have had coverage from Grushon insurance, we depended on Gwen and her family for home, auto, umbrella, and multiple business policies. Recently we have had a deeply frustrating and severely unprofessional experience with Gwen and Thomas-Grushon Insurance regarding a claim. From the start, we were sent in circles. We were first told to file under our builder's risk policy, then under our contractor's general liability policy--both placed through their office. After weeks of back and forth, the adjuster informed us our policy would not respond because it was missing an "errors and omissions" clause. We were never told this coverage was not included and had no idea why it was missing. Instead of helping us resolve the issue, Thomas-Grushon repeatedly shifted the responsibility, initially it was becuase she purchased the business from her dad and uncle and our coverage was lost in the transfer, next it was she had a software upgrade and it could have gone missing then, next it was her turnover with multiple employees leaving her office, next it was she would pay out of pocked for her negligence in the lack of coverage, she stated she was hiring an audit team to inspect all of her clients' policies to see who else was negatively impacted--and finally suggested with herself and 2 employees pressuring me alone in a room we pursue a day laborer, which was completely an illegitimate claim and again delaying a decision for weeks. Despite providing all documentation and a detailed remediation estimate, Gwen failed to follow any of her multiple statements, leaving the homeowner waiting and our company in limbo. This lack of transparency, accountability, and follow-through has caused significant delays and unnecessary stress for all involved. We would strongly caution anyone considering working with this agency, we have filed a complaint with Ohio Department of Insurance and The Better Business Bureau, Gwen should have her license revoked. read more

These guys are good. Mike Grushon knows way more about insurance than anyone I've ever met, and is willing to tell you factoids till your eyeballs are rolling over. He's a talker. But, he will really help you find the right insurance for you, wont oversell you and finds good deals. Way better than your strip-mall insurance salesman. read more
