The day of closing on a property, the city hits us with a notice demanding an appraisal so they can send a payoff. I called to ask about the process, pricing, etc. A woman answered (there were roosters crowing in the background) and had no clue what I was talking about but said she would ask and call me back. She never asked for my name or number; I assumed she had caller ID and that's why. She called back a few minutes later to discuss my property in Lakewood...calling me someone else's name. I don't have a property in Lakewood. I reminded her that I was the one who just called about those specific questions. She said "oh. Ok. Bye." And hung up on me!!!! That was Monday.
