Very good professional business, I recommend to anyone looking to appraise their jewelry. The shop is towards the back if you come in from the main street so it took me a few minutes to find it. There is parking in the back, which looks much more convenient. I like that we were the only two people in a fairly large office as the global situation still has me uneasy about being in closed spaces with others. As for the appraising, everything took place in front of me. I sat in front of her desk while she examined the gemstone with various devices. Pictures were taken. She made me aware that my gemstone was loose within it's setting and informed me of the observations she made of the gem's fingerprint. The next day, as promised, I received a detailed report that I was able to use to insure my ring. It contained details on the main stone, side stones, and small stones. I went in thinking I was just getting a document for insurance and came out knowing my ring a whole lot better. Got me in and out quickly, and the report was excellent! Don't be upset/surprised when your "REAL" appraisal comes in much lower than what the stores include with their B.S. appraisals! Theresa (Teri) Newman Brossmer very professional ... When I phoned her it was urgent I know if I had purchased a fake piece of jewelry while vacationing in Bangkok, Thailand. She had a full schedule but knew time was of the essence since my purchase would clear the next day. I informed Theresa I had reported to my bank. Teri appraised my wife's engagement ring back in 2007 for insurance purposes. She was spot on with the grading before checking the GIA report. I have since gone back to her for updated appraisals. Teri was always prompt in responding to my emails and phone calls. There were 2 occasions when I needed an update and she provided the report by email. Once in awhile she has to inspect the item in person, which I understand. She knows the market value and does not over or under value pieces. Teri is an expert, is friendly and a top tier appraiser.
