As the sign hung up on the door suggested, I both rang the bell and knocked. A lady, presumably the owner, was there talking on the phone in plain sight. Her response to my ringing and knocking was simply to move out of sight and ignore me. I thought maybe she was so involved in her conversation that she didn't notice, so I tried once again - and again she just ignored me. If the shop were closed - despite the deliberate, temporary signage - a simple "sorry, we're closed today." Would have sufficed. I would have thought my experience a one-off, but I saw other complaints online about rudeness and arrogance that told me what I experienced was likely a pattern. Lord knows there's no shortage of snobbery and weird personalities in the design business. If you go, hopefully you'll have a better experience.

And we went to this location to search for our new couch being that we only had a small couch from our old apartment. First off we got the wrong couch delivered. It was way too big for my living room size and layout. So right away I called them and they told me that there were no returns or exchanges. I explained to them that this was not the same couch that I ordered and they kept gaslighting me telling me that it was. So I got stuck with a big huge couch that supposedly was modular, but it actually was not. The quality is horrible and terrible. The couch cushions just come out. Thankfully my kids are young so this is kind of the couch that they're running to the ground before I replace it once they're a little older. Please do your research and don't spend your hard earned money here. Go to living spaces or Ashley furniture or another furniture store that does have a return or exchange policy. I paid nearly $3000 for the couch that I wanted only to be delivered something completely different. Then let's not even get into the delivery company that they use. Oh my goodness. As a very recently postpartum mom finding out that I was stuck with a couch that I did not even order. I was so upset. And the delivery guys just kept telling me about how big it was for my space and how if I put it a certain way we would have to walk around the couch to get into the living room. It seemed like they genuinely were just enjoying watching me be upset. I literally had to tell them that they needed to leave my house and they just kept standing there watching me try to rearrange the couch. I had to tell them again that I needed them to leave my house. They were already done setting the couch up and were completely finished with the delivery. I pretty much had to yell at them to get out. It was so weird. All around it was just such a horrible experience. I don't recommend them at all, the hassle of no return or exchange policy is not worth it, the quality is horrible, and the delivery experience just seals the deal to not shop with them. Posting it again because as a 29-year-old with three kids who just bought my first house I was so excited to have my house look the way that I wanted it. So honestly, this couch experience left me so sad. My husband and I work so hard for our money and it definitely tainted my new homeowner experience. I've learned my lesson and have since gone to living spaces. They are absolutely amazing and I will be getting my next couch with them. Buying new furniture should be a happy experience and you should have the option to return or exchange, especially when it's the store that made a mistake.

The stool was priced $299, on sale for $120. All the stools in the store only had 1 available, but a second one could be ordered if needed. Lots of beautiful bedroom sets, and wish I would have gotten mine from there. I didn't see the type of dinette set I wanted, but they did have some really nice ones, if I weren't looking for a specific kind. Glad I made a stop there.

This place is so unorganized as the seller. I had to follow up with them 3 times as they said all…read moremy items either sold or were donated .... Even though they were still on their online portal to be sold. Out of 100 plus items they sent us a check for $300. These included Indian blankets, Victorian opera glasses, jewelry, furniture, and antique collectibles from all over the world as my grandparents were world travelers. it never sat right with me that they could not give me an itemized list of what was sold and what it was sold for. So I thought I should share my experience. The staff also seemed hectic, unhappy, and always referred me to the owner, even though he was only interested in our coins. I would go somewhere else.

I didn't get to use her expertise as our estate sales agent, but she gave us some great valuable information on putting on our own estate sales. I used the estate sales links she suggested and they brought in people from great distances. Our signage brought a great crowd too. BUT!!! I highly recommend --- DON'T DO IT YOURSELF!!!! I was pressed to remove the contents of my mother's home much sooner than a professional sales would complete a sale. Yet, I will never let this time pressure control the issue again! Penny's expertise expands all levels! She advertises. Completes signage. Provides adequate pricing. And knows about crowd management, which we came short handed at one point. She's knowledgable in antiques, vintage, jewelry, and coin. Through this personal experience, trying to dispose of my mother's estate, I confirmed Penny's estimates (which seemed low) on what to sell my mother's very high quality items, and yet I still didn't get that value. So, don't be disappointed that your loved ones antiques and such don't sell at your high expectations. People just aren't buying it!!! Penny also passed my impression as a good honest person.
