I've only been to this park in the evening and there are always people around. It can get packed on the weekends as games and classes are held there. If you plan on coming on the weekend, come early to find parking. Overall, I like this park because it keeps my kids busy, its clean, and they love it; but the restrooms just needs to be fixed.

Love the fact the parking is close to the park entrance and several co-located picnic benches for those with mobility issues. There was a small rose garden along the walking path in front of the stage, with built in benches around it in case you need a seat. Lots of beautiful open grass space, incredible playground, and impressive an coffee stand. This is what our communities look like when we invest in them. Great job La Puente local government and residents. You all rock! The basketball courts looked fun as well! I don't play but plenty of young people were enjoying all the recreational offerings as we older folks danced the night away!

Unfortunately the people who come here have birthday parties on weekly take over the grassy areas and leave so much garbage behind, bathrooms are left filthy. I always come on Sunday mornings and bring a trash bag to help clean the park up as I live across the street and the garbage bring back coyotes and possums. Hilda Solis our parks have seen better days and we should have an AED Device for emergencies as we do have many older citizens who visit this park. Many parks outside of your district have this feature.

I am always on the hunt for a park with a good walking trail as I have been spoiled with padded tracked parks. One loop is about 0.6 miles. The park also has a community center for classes and renting meeting rooms, along with several tennis courts. There is a small playground area on the upper level. Parking is plentiful. The older kids playground has wood chips, a playground and 2 kid swings. There is also 1 baby swing, and 1 disability swing. Lots of parking spots, walking distance to the playground. Men and women's restrooms are avail and clean, children's play area is well maintained and offers plenty of options for the youngsters to have a blast. There are six picnic tables available. The large, open grass area offers plenty of space to run around and play your favorite games. Reservations are not required but the park is offered on a first come, first serve basis. It is 400 am now and I am here saving the area for a scheduled gathering later this morning. I was the sucker who volunteered to be here this early (wink wink).

There's a small private parking lot and plenty of on-street parking. We came here to play volleyball (had to bring our own net and court boundary lines) and had fun, but it was a little treacherous with all the holes for the sprinkler heads. Also, I mentioned the field is on a slope, so no good way to get a level playing court. They also have decent bathroom facilities.
