It shows how much he cares about making the kids feel comfortable. This dentist is the most honest one I've been to. When I had some toothache, I saw 2 other dentists and they were quick to tell me to pull my teeth and charge over 1k. Dr. Amir didn't do that. He checked my teeth and discovered 12 small cavities. Based on the x-rays, he said I could just have them filled in and he charged only several hundred (with insurance). I was skeptical that it worked, but after the one month recovery, my teeth felt great and everything was back to normal. My teeth feel great now, a year later. I am still considering pulling my wisdom, but he says I don't have to do that until they hurt. He doesn't rush me into anything and gives me the options so I can save money, while having healthy teeth! He stands by his work and will not do anything that won't leave you satisfied or his reputation in doubt. My nephew had a chipped tooth and I recommended Dr. Amir first. After a consultation, Dr. Amir recognized that he couldn't do the type of work required due to the severity of the chip so he recommended my nephew to another dentist. He's honorable and trustworthy, which you can't say about every dentist, doctor, or mechanic.

The setting is beautiful and honestly it is comfortable and doesn't have that usual gross dentist smell to it, so it helps ease some of the stress and anxiety before the appointment. Every person that I have made contact with in this office has been so pleasant. It had been 5+ years since I had been to the dentist and I didn't feel one ounce of judgement come from anyone. The dental hygienist was so friendly and explained everything that she was doing and helped me understand the questions i had. I saw Dr. Ha and she was absolutely terrific! She explained everything to my understanding and answered every question I had too, no matter how redundant or silly it may have seemed. Each of the dental assistants i have dealt with have been so friendly and personable. Unfortunately, I had to make quite a few trips in a short amount of time (not by their faults) but, they worked around MY schedule and made sure I was taken care of. Also I have never sat in the waiting room for longer than 5-10 minutes. There really is so much I could say about every aspect of this office but, most importantly they put their patients first. They make sure their patients are taken care of before they are worried about their income. They were willing to work with me and were very helpful on the financial side of things as well. The dentist honestly doesn't need to be a nightmare appointment, and the team at Northfield Family Dental knows how to make someone more comfortable about the dentist. Update: you know after you set up a payment plan with a doctor, they shouldn't be calling you and bullying you to make more of a payment. Their bedside manner the last time I was in was absolutely appalling and now I'm having to go to another dentist because the crown they put in isn't placed right because they let their DENTAL ASSISTANTS do the work.. I won't be back. Unfortunately, I gave them too much of my OWN money before getting a second opinion and getting the crown done right. My mistake but hopefully I can deter other people by making the same mistake I did. They don't communicate with you very well on the work they are doing with you either. This place is very nice on the Inside and i dealt with a small handful of nice employees that they had there, so I won't be totally negative about the place, but I won't be back and definitely do NOT recommend.

But over time with lots of staff leaving, the quality of customer service really went down after that. Even just going in for a 6 month cleaning, the hygienist I saw would always hurt my gums and apply a lot of pressure then tell me I needed to floss more. They would also charge me each time for something they put on my teeth (I forget the name of it) without even asking me if I wanted it (my insurance only covers 1 a year). I felt I would share this review now because after going to the dentist for the last 2-3 years, they cancelled my appointment without a phone call to reschedule. The clinic changed theirs hours effective Jan 1, 2024 but didn't inform me of this change until 2 business days before (my appointment was June 4, 2024). I believe that if the clinic is cancelling a customers appointment due to clinic reasoning/changes, it is THEIR responsibility to CALL the customer. Not send automated texts.

Discovered this gem while my mum was visiting and needed a routine cleaning. Located close at Northfield with easy parking, I was very impressed with this office. Most people fear or dread their dentistry appointment. The staff here is super friendly and welcoming. We called and were able to get a new patient appointment without having to wait months out. Everything from checkin to post services was stellar service. Dr. Smith was very kind and compassionate during the consultation. He was detailed and thorough in his explanation for services for my mum. I despise offices that berate clients if you haven't had the best dental care or insurance. I think most people don't knowingly skip dental care, they simply didn't have access. Additionally I love that they didn't upsell or are very pushy with additional services at every opportunity. They provided options and estimates before performing services. They also have later hours for busy professionals. You can do a lot online or in person. Having moved in the area, I am so excited to find a great dentist. Now my mom is even more grateful, gorgeous and glowing.

Only one? Since all accounts are registered together on my chart, I checked up on the other 3. It looked like only one had a scheduled appointment for today. I called the next day (appt day) I was on the phone waiting to be answer for 42 mins. When I finally got to someone, I asked why only one was scheduled? she said the pediatric was not going to be in and that is why they where all canceled. I was annoyed!! How can she not be in to see 3 of my children but was in to see one and on top of that not be notified. When I tried to cancel all appointments they said only 3 can be seen together (how odd I done it before) so I decided to keep the one they did not cancel. Well I am another month out from the next appointment with shots overdue! I took time off from work to make it in today for all 4 to be seen, only one will be seen and I will have to take another day off from work. How inconvenient is that. When I did ask why the call center or anyone had not called or notify me of the cancel or didn't call me to reschedule my appointments, they just suggested to use the My Chart. Honestly im glad I got the invite, only way I would of noticed to call and ask. They don't call to confirm appointments anymore either. I do suggest getting the My Chart app, it does not allow you to make appointments yourself (lol says to call) but at least you can see if your appointment got canceled. Also it shows that I had a virtual appointment with someone on the 1st, wtf no I did not! So they might be abusing the system. Well I guess on my appointment today I will be talking about how unprofessional this clinic is and if I can transfer. If you can avoid coming here do so, it keeps going downhill or avoid making appoinments with Keisha M Deleon-Paris, this was my first time setting up an appointment with her and this happened, so please next!
