She identified several issues that I was and wasn't aware and laid out a plan to address them with me without any pressure. They refused to do my basic cleaning that is covered by my insurance. Instead, they wanted me to pay $800 out of pocket for a deep cleaning. Bad business practices. They are just trying to up-sell dental services and they should be investigated for these practices! read more

My husband went here for some bad teeth & needed 2 root canals and a crown. We just bought a new car & I was concerned about the cost but they let us do a payment plan & gave us a discount on a couple things. I'm so glad they're such caring people & understanding about finances right now with the cost of living being so high. This was an excellent first impression that has made us loyal clients for all our future dental needs. It's relieving to find any business these days that cares. In 2025 my husband and I became patients at Dentists of Central Park (DCP). We had left another Denver dental practice because of high dentist turnover. Prior to moving to Denver, we had had the same family dentist for over 20 years. We were looking for continuity of care. DCP was on our insurance list, conveniently located, seemed as though it was a dentist-owned practice, and, although some of the reviews were negative, there were a number of positive ones. Some of the reviews mentioned upselling; however, we thought that we could just say "no" to this type of pressure. Our teeth and gums are in generally good shape for two people over 60 years old. This is not just our opinion; we have been told this numerous times by our old family dentist and the revolving dentists we saw prior to DCP. Immediately upon seeing the dentist at DCP, I was told that I needed a deep cleaning, as I had deep pockets in all four quadrants of my mouth. This was very much at odds with what I had been told only 6 months prior. It did seem, however, that the dentist used excessive pressure with the periodontal probe. With insurance, I was given an estimate of $740 for the deep cleaning. Additionally, I would need maintenance visits every 3 to 4 months -- visits that would not be fully covered by insurance. I said I would think about it, but wanted to go ahead and have a regular cleaning that day. The dentist balked at that, but eventually did the cleaning. I made another appointment for a regular cleaning, thinking that I could just stand my ground. I'll add here that I floss at least once every day, brush twice a day, water floss after meals, wear my mouth guard at night, and avoid sugary drinks ... no gum bleeding, swollen gums, or pain. I went back for the second visit in the fall of 2025. The dentist I had seen earlier that year was no longer with the practice. Again, I thought there was excessive pressure with gum probing. This time the dental hygienist was quite firm that they would not do a regular cleaning, only a deep cleaning. I left before seeing the dentist. My husband had a somewhat similar experience. Both my husband and I recently saw a dentist who owns his own practice. Unlike DCP, he saw nothing concerning on the x-rays -- and these were the x-rays from DCP. Both my recession and pockets were within the acceptable range. My gums were in good shape with no bleeding when he used the periodontal probe. He definitely did not think either my husband or I needed a deep cleaning. To be generous, I would say that DCP dentists believe that they are being extremely proactive. If your approach is more conservative, I would find a dentist that aligns with that. Before going ahead with a costly procedure, I would suggest a second opinion, ideally from a non-corporate dental practice. To be less generous, I would say that DCP is pushing unnecessary and costly procedures. Interestingly, after the Denver Post published the article entitled "Denver-area dentists are upselling invasive cleanings, PDS Health patients allege," I reviewed PDS Health's list of affiliated dental practices. Yep ... Dentists of Central Park is on that list. read more

I had Osseous Surgery in March and paid $5011.00 out of pocket. Eight months later, I received a bill for $1200 additional. My insurance told me that the office sent them information indicating the procedure was not medically necessary. It took two weeks for the office to follow up with me after leaving three voicemails and talking to someone who didn't know the answers to my questions. Either they operated on me without medical necessity or they gave my insurance company incorrect information. Either way, it shouldn't be my problem. Bottom line, they treat their patients/customers with indifference and a general lack of follow-up or sense of urgency. Luckily there's lots of other options for dentist in the area! read more

I called to schedule an appointment and they were able to get me in for a cleaning the next day. Dr. Dallas is literally the best dentist I've been to and you can tell he genuinely cares about his job and clients. It's rare to have a dentist go above and beyond as he did, thoroughly explaining my treatment plan and not rushing me out like most places I've been to. I even referred my husband to see him next week. The staff are very professional and friendly. This will be my main dentist from here on out while I am in Colorado. read more

We brought our 2 yr old here to the kid side and they went above and beyond to make her comfortable. I was impressed with every step in the process from making her appointment (which they got us in the same day I called), cleaning her teeth, the Dentist bed side manners to checking out and getting a balloon. If you ask any veteran that has earned their VA  compensation they will tell YOU "it was not given to them." As a Vietnam Era and Desert Storm rated 100 P&T just as my fellow military members in uniform and veterans, our dues for this country have been paid. Therefore, you would think that an individual or company would respect that aspect and never flat out "LIE" to a veteran. A private is taught from day one in the military about "follow-up protocol." This is  exactly what I did with a Community Care dental referral from the VA. I called East Stapleton Dentistry, LLP to follow-up on the VA referral and was told the consult had not been sent. Therefore, VA had to be contacted again in reference to the issue. The VA stated that the dentistry had confirmed the receipt of the referral. We all know two dam well when the WHITE LIES kicks with overdrive you can not get it out of fifth gear! White lies, Black lies, anything with a LIE I dislike it with a "F" passion. A liar will never wind. I called the dental office back and was told "the VA never sent the referral" and the information would be passed to the office manager." I always check business ratings before conducting any transactions. I realize no business is without fault but when it comes to flat out lying it is a different scope. They got me in right away and they offered me same day treatment!! The dental assistant Ana that helped me was amazing! And Dr. Reza!! He thoroughly explained the risk of not having the treatment and offered me nitrous laughing gas to ease my anxiety. He did a great job! Definitely coming back for a full exam! read more

My wife and I recently moved to the area and have a 18 month old. We noticed the friendly staff outside setting up a table with free goodies on it. Tom the manager gave us a tour and let us know Dr. Hsu would be starting December 4th to see kids, and we were able to get an appointment scheduled. Very poor staff and providers. Originally asked me to move appointment from evening (after I made appointment saying could only do evenings) to afternoon. When I said not possible, they inadequately staffed office with 1 hygenist for 2 patients. Cleaning was very superficial in 15 minutes despite them saying I needed a very deep cleaning. Most of 1 hour appointment was them trying to sell a deep cleaning- which all other times would have accepted- but the whole experience up to that point led me to not trust the practice. A few quotes from the appointment: 1) "our dental hygenist is pregnant so she cannot provide normal cleaning service." 2) "our dentist is just covering here today so we didn't do an extensive X-Ray analysis" 3) "our cleaning technology is superior to other places making a 15 minute cleaning sufficient." The office manager and dental management largely ignored my request to discuss this inadequate service. This is my first review of any type of business. As a medical provider myself, I was struck by the unprofessional and incompetent nature of the practice. read more

This is a highly unprofessional and disorganized operation. After sitting in the waiting area for 20 minutes, I was informed that my dentist no longer worked at the office. Not only that, the dentist who replaced her was missing. He never showed up for work and no one knew where he was. RUN RUN RUN from this place as fast as you can!!! Just because they have the "state of the art" equipment, doesn't mean that they are ethically treating you. They will charge you the most you could pay even if you go in for a separate issue. The only reason they get one star this time is because everyone in the office is nice and pleasant. The dentists on the other hand.... RUN AWAY FROM HERE AS FAST AS HELL!!! Not only was I left in exam rooms alone for hours on end, I had two crowns done (one in which I felt Dr. Nguyen touched the wrong tooth... and surprisingly doesn't work here anymore or so I was told), was accused by another dentist last August of "Pill Shopping" even though I had a broken tooth that needed to come out ASAP, however she set me an appointment for 2 more weeks and in between that time I have the most excruciating pain ever and was told to talk to my PCP to get pain meds... Thank God my PCP understands my medical history and all of my needs! Both crowns that were done by the office were faulty and have crumbled and broken out completely. My NEW dentist that takes the insurance that this company does not, covered my first crown break. The 2nd crown break completely broke my tooth underneath (tooth #10) and now I need dental implants for a crown that should have lasted longer than 3 years. I am now responsible for a 6K bill because of Dr. Nguyen. Also be aware that their company name changes often and there is a rotation of dentists that don't stay very long... I can't keep up! Imagine that! I wrote one review and was asked to take it down so I did... not this time! All I can say is I hate spending time out of my busy day to write a review but contacting the company directly hasn't seemed to help either... and I truly don't have the time to deal with this. read more

Since moving to Denver I have had bad dental experiences. When I arrived at East Stapleton dentistry they were very welcoming and understanding to my situation. Through the COVID pandemic Angelina has been working tirelessly to get me my night guard for two months. She is the perfect person to help you with anything. Or even fight to get a night guard. I'm so glad I met Angelina. She truly has made this experience at this practice the best one yet. Thank you for all you do Angelina. Get a second (and thrid) opinion before doing anything with this office. They make you sign all your paperwork without reading it. They also seem to have issues running a buisness well. 2 stars for excellent beside manner. Everyone was extremely nice, unfortunately everything else about this office is terrible. My boyfriend and I will definitely not be coming back to this dentist office. I decided to pay extra for some additional services like a fluoride rinse and they only suction the extra fluids out. The hygienist then kept leaving me alone with NOTHING else to rinse with. I sat in the room for at least 15 minutes at a time with dental chemicals sitting in my mouth. No extra water, no sink, no where to even spit it out....just was suctioned in my mouth a little with a tube and then left alone in the room. After my appointment, I got VERY sick and spent the rest of the morning throwing up because I swallowed so much fluoride! Then, 7 months later, I get blasted with mail and phone calls saying I owe around $185?? I "preregistered" online for my appointment and provided all my insurance info ahead of time. My bill was $0 when I checked out after I paid for my extra services out of pocket so this truly came as a surprise to me. I now understand my insurance does not cover services in this state; however, it is VERY upsetting to get harassed over 7 months later for money I had no idea I would owe especially because I provided the dentist office my insurance information ahead of time by "preregistering". I would not have gone to this dentist if I knew my insurance wouldn't be accepted. I highly recommend double-checking all your coverage before you decide to come here because no one at this office will have any idea until you get harassed by their collections office months later! The administrative assistant at the dentist was VERY kind and did drop my bill significantly down- that I am thankful for and is pretty much the only good thing I can say about my experience with this dentist. read more
