When red flags abound, it is a good sign never to use these people for anything! Two (2) of my neighbors use this company and so I thought it would be easy for them to come to my place as well. A good company would just love referrals and new business all in the same immediate area. For a couple of weeks I tried getting through to them and left messages. When they did return my calls, I was unavailable. There is rarely anyone that answers their phone nor do they communicate with people very well. Finally, when I did get through to them on March 18th after asking me several unnecessary questions, I was told they were all booked up and if they get an opening they will call me. Mind you, my neighbor uses these fools so all Thomas Irrigation has to do is walk across the lawn and get my sprinkler system up and running! How easy is that? A Big F U because I'm not waiting on anybody! If you can't give me a definite answer today, I am NOT going to be on some waiting list and of course, I'd never hear from them again! The price was fair and any questions I had were answered competently. Never experienced such poor customer service before. The clerk took my credit card info and scheduled me for a back flow test on certain date/time. It did not happen on the scheduled day. Later the clerk explained the back-flow test is performed on batches of the work tickets per tester's availability, not by scheduled appointment. She confirmed such service will be done the following Friday. Unfortunately it did not happen. I called back. The same clerk told me I am not even in the system (because she did not register me as a new customer) and she already shredded my credit card info. It appeared to me that my request for service had not ever existed. She said if I don't like their service, i can look for someone else. How would you feel if you were me? read more

Just had my irrigation completed today. All I can say is very happy with the end result. Miguel and his team did a great job! The most important thing about the install was the communications. Suggestions on where to put the sprinkler heads versus where I wanted them. Length of the spray and coverage. That's good customer service. If you have flower beds you may want to consider sprinkler heads just to cover that (but at added expense). So, its important that you be home on the days(s) that they come and work with them to get a good result. That said, couple of other points: 1. You have a option to use "Rain Machine" versus the Toro controller board. Do NOT use Rain Machine as it has a $30 a month subscription fee. I didn't ask if you could use other models but something to consider. But its programmed and I should not have to touch it again until Fall. 2. I waited about over 3 1/2 months to get this installed. Its wasn't so much about waiting then it was about getting notified about where I was on the list and how long it could be. From reading the other reviews, seems like that customer service seems be at the forefront of most the ratings. Thomas (Matt & Andrew) should look into these and see how they can improve. Did dock a "*" from the review for this issue. 3. Make sure you get on the schedule to get your irrigation lines blown out. Need to get it done before the first freeze. read more

they're bullying people. man got on the phone yelling and screaming about paying a bill I dont owe. threatening to take me to court and pay all the fees. plus their late fees make absolutely no sense. read more

This company threatened to "to bring court" in a laughably condescending letter after not paying their 75.00 bill in a timely manner. 3 months or so. Invoice doesn't have a method of payment, no payments on their website. It's 2019 guys, you want me to drop by your headquarters location with a cash payment? Get with the times Thomas and you would have received your payment online the same day. They also did not show up on their scheduled appointment, twice. I go out of my way now to make sure anyone I know receiving any type of lawn-care service know about these bullies. read more

They serviced my system for years. This year they had an experienced person to start the sprinkler system. Instead of connecting to the well water, he connected it to the city water. I found out when I received a water bill for $500.00. Thomas Irrigation told me that it was my fault, because the customer is responsible for telling them which water system to connect it to. I have never told them that. They have never told me that it was my responsibility. read more

We had them winterize our sprinkler system, and since we didn't have a standard system they told us that at start up if there were any issues that they would take care of it. When Spring came, the sprinkler heads would not pop up. They advised they would have to charge us a full service call in order to come out, and would never verbally agree to come back out to fix. We asked for the receptionist to speak with the person who did our winterization to confirm, and she never got back to me. I called her repeatedly over two months and never received a call back. Very disappointed. read more
