A good company would just love referrals and new business all in the same immediate area. For a couple of weeks I tried getting through to them and left messages. When they did return my calls, I was unavailable. There is rarely anyone that answers their phone nor do they communicate with people very well. Finally, when I did get through to them on March 18th after asking me several unnecessary questions, I was told they were all booked up and if they get an opening they will call me. Mind you, my neighbor uses these fools so all Thomas Irrigation has to do is walk across the lawn and get my sprinkler system up and running! How easy is that? A Big F U because I'm not waiting on anybody! If you can't give me a definite answer today, I am NOT going to be on some waiting list and of course, I'd never hear from them again! We wasted a day waiting for them at home. They also did NOT CONTACT US to let us know they wouldn't be coming. I've called them twice and texted twice...NO RESPONSE. My wife (calling from a different phone) had no problem getting through. The lady who handles scheduling (Karen) said in an annoyed tone (NO APOLOGY), "I'm out of town. I don't know if you were on the schedule. I can't even look at this until tonight." Again, no apology. No attempt to re-schedule. My wife asked, "Wait, you don't show up and you can't even reschedule me or tell me when you're actually going to come do the job?" The lady snapped: "I'm not home!" and HUNG UP ON MY WIFE. I spoke to this woman twice in the past month about this appointment: ONCE to book and ONCE to confirm they will also do a backflow test. She confirmed both and I even texted her our CCN# earlier this week. One more thing: WE DOCUMENT EVERYTHING. On June 22, 2023, we had ANOTHER APPOINTMENT to turn on our sprinklers. Lake made us (again) waste an entire day, NOT SHOWING UP, not contacting us and not apologizing. I have no idea why we kept doing business with Lake Irrigation, but we will NOT make that same mistake again and are looking for a good alternative in our area.

The first technician did an incomplete job so we called them to come back and finish the job. Their "service manager" Chad shows up and starts making excuses for why things are not working properly. From the beginning he started defending his company and blaming the previous owner. We never blamed their company. We just wanted it fixed. Again he starts making excuses and blaming the previous owner. He was arrogant, argumentative and unhelpful. I would ask questions and he got more arrogant and eventually walked off without fixing the work they didn't complete. Very sorry we ever called them.

The staff, if any in the office, is incompetent and comes and demands payment for a bill long paid, two years later out of the blue. Horrid operation! My neighbors have long dropped this gruff bully. Our back yard had no patio and a lot of overgrown weeds by the garage. We had no place for a table…read moreand chairs and so we ended up just staying inside most of the time. The raised bed garden in front of the house was filled with a haphazard collection of flowers and shrubs. Enter Cutting Edge Landscaping. Max's design is fantastic and his crew is highly skilled, fast, and hardworking. (One of them saved my tulip bulbs that I couldn't find when they were reworking the raised bed garden.) We now have a beautiful patio with a table, chairs, and umbrella, and a firepit. We are out there every evening enjoying the fire, shooting the breeze, and making s'mores. Our kids love it. The landscaping and lighting really make our house stand out. I constantly get compliments from neighbors I had never met before. Max is really personable and knowledgeable. You can tell he loves what he does for a living. He even suggested a fix for the low point in our driveway that gets filled with dirt every time it rains. We are so appreciative of the work Max and his crew have done. Highly recommended.
