My wife and I strongly recommend Thomas Nelson to anyone who is buying or selling residential property in the San Diego area. We first met Thomas in 2015 when we were considering purchasing a condo for our daughter to stay in during her final 3 years at UCSD. Due to the fact that we reside in Northern California, it was necessary to use Internet resources to identify potential real estate agents for this transaction. We found Thomas through recommendations in Yelp. After communicating with Thomas by phone and electronically, we met Thomas in person during a weekend house hunt. Prior to our meeting, Thomas had done significant due diligence in identifying potential properties and arranging tours. We were able to narrow the choices to a preferred condo. Thomas was familiar with the general market and gave us important insights into the purchase of the condo - expectations, price, and future resale. Thomas and his team handled the negotiation with the seller, paperwork, and all of the details for the purchase efficiently and with minimal time requirements from us. Everything was handled in a professional manner and was respectful of our time. Communication was prompt and specific. Thomas stood behind the purchase throughout our ownership of the property. When situations with the condo arose (electrical, plumbing, maintenance, etc), Thomas was able to provide guidance, referrals, and general advice that made our "remote" ownership of the property less stressful. When our daughter graduated and moved back to Northern California, we again selected Thomas to represent our end of the sale. Given his history with the property, Thomas was able to quickly identify the maintenance issues which required fixes and provided us with a selection of contractors to perform the work.
