I needed free-backing drum brakes installed on my boat trailer, along with all the wiring. My trailer originally didn't have brakes, and I thought it would be a simple project--but I was completely wrong. I found this company on Google, gave them a call, and just three days later they came out to do the installation. My first impression was excellent. They were friendly, professional, and even cracked a few jokes while explaining exactly what they were going to do and how long the job would take. Their work truck was clean, they were well-organized, and all three technicians were professional and respectful. I left them working in my garage while I went to work, and when I came home a few hours later, everything was finished. The installation was outstanding. My garage was spotless, the brake system looked professionally installed, and all the wiring was neatly hidden inside the trailer frame instead of hanging underneath. The attention to detail really stood out. I've already put a few hundred miles on the trailer and launched my boat several times, and everything has worked flawlessly. It all went downhill when I bought a brand new steering column kit for my bronco and I took it to him to replace. He took very long to fix it, gave me the run around, said he had to get others to work on the electrical and kept ignoring my calls when I had to pick it up for a rental booking I had. I finally picked it up for a video shoot rental I had on turo. The car didn't switch past second gear and he didn't fully install all he had to. It had other new caused issues as well. I wanted to bring it back in for him to fix it since it was very unsafe to drive. He did not want to, he kept saying that his shop was full and had no room, or he would ignore my texts and calls. I ended up taking it to another mechanic that told me all the things he had caused to the car that Pepe never told me. Now I understand why he ignored me and didn't want to deal with it because he caused a lot of problems and didn't fully install the steering column. It's cost me an extra $1350 to fix all that was caused from him improperly working on my bronco and not taking responsibility to fix. Recently I asked him for the parts of the steering column kit that he did not install so that another mechanic can do it properly. But he said he didn't have the parts. I asked if he could replace them for me and he said no. I also requested partial refund if he didn't have the parts so that I can buy the parts that he threw away of mine. And he said no. I tried settling the matter with him and he doesn't want to comply. He let me drive away with a very unsafe car, didn't do all the proper mechanic work, didn't tell me the truth of what they caused, and won't help settle the issue now.
