Most recently, I was dealing with a check-engine light while trying to get my Jeep ready for its required STAR smog test. Mike and Fred didn't simply replace parts based on a diagnostic code. They took the time to determine what was actually wrong before I spent the money. They diagnosed a failed EGR valve and also discovered a cracked spark plug that was affecting how the Jeep was running. They showed me what they found and explained everything clearly so I understood why the repairs were necessary. What I appreciate most is that Mike and Fred are thorough, knowledgeable and meticulous. Their prices have been fair, and I never feel as though they are trying to sell me repairs I don't need. Instead, I feel like they genuinely care about keeping my Jeep safe and running well. John took the time to thoroughly diagnose the issue, spending a couple of hours checking everything to find the real cause. He called me back, explained that a sensor needed replacement, and ordered a genuine Hyundai part to fix it. He also noticed that my previous oil change had overfilled the oil, so he drained some to bring it to the proper level, and he fixed the engine cover that wasn't clipped properly.
