Very disappointed!!! I was already nervous about going to the consultation. I arrived early with my…read morefriend who also had an appointment. We waited in the lobby for about half an hour then a gentleman came out to greet us and take us to an office. We filed out all the paperwork they gave us. We handed the paperwork in and waited again. The gentleman and some other lady were caring a conversation about another patient that honestly don't think that person would appreciate. I won't mention her name because I wouldn't want my name mentioned. Anyways we waited a very long time. My appointment was at 1:00 and hers at 1:30. It was already 3:17 and we got really frustrated and stood up and told the reception (the gentleman) we were needing to leave and that we will reschedule and his response with a mouth full of pretzels was oh ok I'll let her know?? Really?? We won't be back! We will go with a different place! Obviously they didn't need our business! Their loss!

I was referred by a friend who had the same procedure I was contemplating. We both had done some homework and it was really beneficial because the results really speak for themselves. Neither of us could be happier! What really made a strong impact for me was Dr J's confidence in his abilities to provide me the best possible service, because I really didn't have a clear vision of what I wanted. I was ecstatic that he was able to take a kind of fuzzy picture that I was painting of what I aspired for and turn it into what was beyond perfectly fitting for me & my body.

Was less than 15 mins late as a result of this and they would not see me -despite that I was here for a 15 min procedure and had been scheduled a 30 min block. Prices are good compared to where I live in Philadephia, so if you can get seen would be worth it. I am not sure how they compare to prices around this area though. I only chose this place bc I've been a patient in the past. She wouldn't see me until I filled out the paperwork, despite that nothing has changed in my medical history since the last time I was here. So, there would have been plenty of time to complete my procedure (laser hair removal) despite my late arrival if I hadn't had to repopulate additional paperwork. Wouldn't rate so low over the address mix up -I understand I was late- but the woman Diana was so insistently arguing me about how I had been to this location before (I had not, my last appt was in 2014 which I know bc she looked it up -wasting more time I could have been getting the treatment) and how she had been clear to mention the "north" part of the address when calling to remind me. Obviously either of us could have been correct, but I am usually one that pays close attention to detail so I feel like I would not have missed that - and either way my biggest issue is the lack of professionalism to argue with me in front of other customers about how I had been to this location before. Update Oct 4th - In response to the doctor's review below...I did choose to wait for over an hour and a half to see if Diana would fit me in. There were 2 separate times where she was on the computer for 20 minutes, not treating me and not treating other patients and when I asked if I could be seen then she said she had to fill out her post treatment documentation immediately. So after almost two hours of waiting, I decided not to waste any more of my vacation day sitting in this (albeit very nice) office being talked down to and ignored. Also my apologies for not remembering the exact location of an office building I had not been to in 3 years in a state I don't live in. Thanks for the response, I do hope the professionalism will be addressed.

I've had a great experience with Mid-Florida Dermatology. I typically visit the Lake Nona office,…read moreand the care there has always been excellent. Recently, after receiving a positive biopsy for basal cell skin cancer, I was seen at their Winter Park location, where I had the opportunity to meet Dr. Savage. Dr. Savage removed the skin cancer from my face, and I truly cannot say enough good things about him. He is incredibly skilled, professional, and has such a great personality that immediately puts you at ease--especially during something as stressful as a cancer diagnosis and procedure. The entire process was handled with care and precision, and I felt confident every step of the way. I'm very grateful for the treatment I received and the outcome. I would highly recommend Mid-Florida Dermatology, and especially Dr. Silva, to anyone in need of dermatologic care or skin cancer removal.

Filthy, Unsanitary Exam Rooms & They Don't Care…read more My partner and I have been going to this Winter Park location for decades, since when it was originally run by Dr. Francile MacFarland. Since her departure, we've been seeing Dr. Glen and her team and have been comfortable with all of them from a care-perspective. However, there's been a noticeable and dramatic change in the operations and, particularly, the condition of the facilities that has led us to look for another dermatologist. Having been to both the Winter Park and Altamonte locations last year, the furnishings and overall condition in the waiting areas is very old and deteriorating. In Altamonte, there are carpet & upholstery tears throughout, and the stairwell and office smell strongly of mold. But of primary concern is the cleanliness of the exam rooms! Attached are photos of the Winter Park exam rooms we've visited on 3 different occasions this year. The sinks are simply disgusting, and have been so for over a year (when a simple sponge and "Bar Keepers Friend" would clean them in 5-10 minutes.) Also attached is a photo of the pillow I was given to place my FACE on during a biopsy. Torn with hideous stain and no pillowcase. I referenced above in my post-appointment survey and have not received acknowledgement it was even received. I also called to speak with someone and was told there is no corporate office personnel and was given an email for the Office Manager "Jennifer" (with a gmail address no less). Sent her these comments and images in November, December and a 3rd time in February, all of which have gone unacknowledged. Finally, I just called the appointment line today asking for her boss's name and contact. I was told it was the Dr. who owns all 37 clinics, but has no telephone number or email address; so there's no way to reach him either. What kind of medical facility IS this?? And where is the Board of Health or whoever licenses and inspects medical facilities? I don't really want to change providers, but they've had multiple chances to clean things up and to respond to a customer's concerns. Neither of which has occurred. I just cannot trust and will no longer risk having surgical procedures done in such an unsanitary environment.
