I'm glad I picked this surgeon. The procedure was successful because years later I have no noticeable scarring on my face.

I chose Sand Lake Dermatology Center after a negative experience with another clinic. The reviews…read moreare great so I felt like this would be a good choice and so far after two appointments, I really like this clinic and Dr Mailer. Before coming to Sand Lake Dermatology I had a biopsy at another clinic and was scheduled to have a carcinoma removed. I was unable to have this done at the other clinic so I booked the first appt available with Sand Lake Dermatology which was set for the end of July. Once I was able to get my records sent to the clinics, a staff member called me right away and moved my appointment to have a carcinoma removed from my face to last week. Because of the interactions I had over the phone and online with this clinic, I felt comfortable having this clinic remove the carcinoma even though I had not even seen the clinic nor doctor. While I was mildly aware of what the procedure entailed, the staff that prepared me answering questions and numbing me(Marisol and Aaron) were great and made me feel comfortable. Dr Mailer was just as nice and made me feel comfortable. I was of course aware of the dr performing the procedure, I couldn't see it and didn't feel it. The procedure is called Moh's procedure where they typically cut away the determined margin around the affected area, bandage you up and let the patient wait in the lobby while the removed specimen is being reviewed in the onsite lab. If the lab determines that not enough was removed to show clear margins, the patient is brought back in and the dr removes more repeating the process until margins are clear. In my case, the dr removed all that needed to be removed leaving clear margins so after the lab results returned after a couple of hours, I was brought back into the procedure room and the dr proceeded to stitch up my wound applying dissolving stitched under the skin and removable stitches outside. My appointment for follow up and outer stitches removal was set for one week later( this past Tuesday). I was prescribed a heavy antibiotic and advised to keep Vaseline on the stitched up area and keep it covered with a bandage that is changed daily. Once I was stitched up, I mentioned a growth I have noticed on my eyelid and the dr suggested that on my follow up appointment she would take a biopsy. So this past Tuesday I had stitches removed, the area where I had stitches seems to be healing well and it doesn't appear that there will be a heavy scar. I am happy to see this as the area that was removed was quite large and the area stitched was quite long. The nurse, Natalie numbed my face, the stitches were removed and I didn't feel anything. They also numbed my eyelid so the biopsy could be taken. This is a sensitive area so this was a bit more intense but it went quickly and the biopsy was done. I will likely have results next week. What could have been a high anxiety first procedures (I've never had any surgery or stitches) turned out to be a pretty smooth experience. I recommend consideration of Sand Lake Dermatology as the staff and Dr Mailer were great, the waiting room is comfortable and even the staff that manages scheduling, check in, check out, nurses, physicians assistants all made me feel important, individual and taken care of. I wish all medical experiences could be similar to what I experienced.

When I went for my first appointment they said they were able to take out my cyst and I made an appointment the following day. The staff and doctors are all very knowledgeable and very kind and nice. Deciding to finally do something for myself was a big step, and choosing Dr. Tower was the best decision I could have made. She holds herself and her work to an incredibly high standard and always made me feel supported, heard, and secure. She was always available for questions or concerns, which gave me a lot of peace of mind throughout the entire process. Now at 3 months post-op, my scar is smooth and healing beautifully. But more than anything, she helped give me my confidence back. Also, as a guy I can say that finding a doctor who truly understands male procedures is really hard. If you're a man considering lipo, 360 lipo, a tummy tuck, or anything similar, you can absolutely count on Dr. Tower's skill and experience. I'm incredibly grateful for her amazing work.

He is a dedicated surgeon who cares deeply for his patients, has excellent technique, and is pleasure to work with. Having seen firsthand the results of his patients, I would highly recommend him to anyone considering plastic surgery. A friend of mine broke her nose and he performed a beautiful rhinoplasty. Aside from being a friend and former colleague, I was also a patient of his. I saw Dr. Patel several times for botox injections for management of my TMJ headaches as well as for aesthetic reasons. I am very expressive and tend to raise and furrow my eyebrows often. At age 26 I already had lines of wrinkles forming on my forehead. Dr. Patel was able to do injections so they reduced the amount of raising and lowering I could do with my eyebrows and still look natural while helping to prevent further wrinkling. I was very happy with the look of the results and how smooth it made my forehead. I highly recommend Dr. Patel for plastic surgery and aesthetic procedures. =)

Dr. Peters originally said I should wait as if I have fat accumulation at 35, I likely will need other procedures as I age. He reassured me that, however, there was no medical reason to not proceed and he would not remove any skin because I was still young. He answered all my questions. I felt safe. After surgery, he told me he removed some skin. I noticed the stitches on my L eye were so much tighter than the R. Two weeks post op, It looked like the outer layer of my eye was sloughing off. Some steroid drops were prescribed but no change resulted. I felt pressure in my L eye due to a stitch that was deeper and too inward. The issue is persistent. My eyes' healing process are very different. I was experiencing pain in my L eye if I look up, smile, yawn, sneeze (still ongoing).Tearing sensation when I open my eye fully. I flew from out of state for an appt. The office rescheduled for later 2 hours prior due to MD in procedure. Then called to cancel 30 min prior. I asked to wait for MD when he's done as I had discomfort in my eye and my flight would leave the following day. Dr Peters walked in: "what's the problem?" That took me aback, but whatever. I proceeded to explain my symptoms. Him: "your eyes are fine!." I replied: fine? My L eye is not fine. The stitch acts as a stop point when I try to look up. It causes the side of my eye to indent when I move my eye. Him : "do you know what indentation means?" And proceeded to tell me the meaning. I replied that he was being dismissive and I didn't appreciate his tone Him: "I told you not to have the surgery but you would not listen. I removed the fat as you wanted. What do you want me to do now?" I explained the stitches are too tight Dr Peters: " you're too impatient. You can't wait for it heal." He didn't even assess my eye before going on his rant. I brought that up. He then made me do some eye exercise and said your eyes are fine. Dr. Peters: "it's just your genes. I can't fix that!" There was more conversation of me explaining my issues and him being outright scornful. The interaction was pointless, so I picked up my stuff and walked out. He followed me in the hall Him: " what? You got nothing to say now?" As if he was trying to provoke me. I just walked out. That man's energy from before the surgery completely shifted. I have issue in my eye not because of expected risks (muscle damage, nerve damage, etc), but because it did too many stitches and my eyes are too tight. The following Monday, he emailed me an apology; saying he did not intend to disrespect me. He invited me to come back. I would have preferred someone else to address my issues. Some doctors won't even evaluate me because no surgeon wants to deal with another' s work. The one who saw me reported that he did see the tightness, but wanted to see my own surgeon. 6 months later, I sucked it up and went back- same issues. I'm explaining that the stitches cause restrictions to my eye. He said there were no stitches on the side of my eye and there was no name for the procedure I am asking him to do (to undo one of the stitches so my eye can open fully). Dr Peters (condescendingly): "tight is not something you can see" My left eye is physically tighter than the R one, but I guess my vocabulary is lacking for Dr Peters. He pretended he didn't understand what I was explaining. I turned to his nurse and asked if she understood what I was saying. She did and repeated it, but Dr Peters was still confused, apparently He removed the fat, what else could I want? Esthetic? Non restrictive stitches? Those words coming from a Plastic surgeon is really disheartening. I wish he showed me that carelessness before my procedure. Pics 1: before 2: about 3 weeks after ( L eye) 2R: R eye. Same day 3s- Day during which my eyes were "fine" 4: current. 5: the indentation that I don't understand 6: the stitches that are not on the side of my eye

I wanted a lift without implants but wanted to keep my size -- which is tough, because oftentimes you will lose breast size with a lift. I met with many doctors who told me I would probably lose at least a cup size. They were also extremely expensive and had a cold demeanor. I researched Dr. Soto and decided to meet with him based off of reviews and real self. He was so warm and friendly. He was also very confident I could keep my size -- and Dr. Soto kept his word!! I have exactly the same cup size as before surgery, but now I have beautifully lifted breasts. The scarring is already almost unnoticeable 8 months later. I got the best breast lift on the planet! Really unbelievable work! If you need a breast lift -- go to Dr. Soto.

I was told at…read morethe time of booking, they required a 150$ deposit in the event I was a no show and it would be rolled over into any service that I scheduled. I was never told that in the event I was not a candidate for the laser or if I decided to not proceed with services, that this was non refundable. I showed up on time for my appt with no issues. I was provided a treatment plan and told I had a 6 month window to book. I decided to wait until after the summer to proceed with any sort of laser tx due to the sun etc. Shortly after my consultation, I started having some medical issues that required further testing. After MANY appointments with my primary care provider ( and specialists) , they did not feel I should be proceeding with the laser services at this time - or at least until I had further testing completed and they were comfortable clearing me. I reached out to the office and let them know about this issue. When it became apparent I may not be able to book within their " 6 month window" I reached out again and requested my 150$ deposit back so I did not loose it. At this point the office told me it was not a " deposit " but rather a consultation fee for the 1st appt . I have both text messages from the time of booking and paperwork that never states this - in fact it listed it as a deposit for my initial appt. I truly feel this should have been disclosed at the time of booking. Not once did anyone attempt to have any sort of resolution - I was never offered to have the deposit roll over past 6 months even if the procedure quote increased.Basically I wasted 150$ with this office . I received one response from Kellie and my other two emails went ignored. I am writing this review so that other patients can just be clear on the fact that if anything happens ( not a candidate , medical issues etc ) , you will lose your money that you put down for the inital visit. Had I known upfront about this , I would not have been as upset, however there was varying information provided to me and I feel they did not disclose their policies correctly. I recieved a response from my Google review and was appalled at their accusation of bullying. I will show how they responded 1- I am attaching a picture of the email I sent. I absolutely never bullied anyone. I was respectful and cordial with my email communication. 2. They mentioned investigating the information I was told but then also state later on "if I was even a visitor at the practice ". Had they actually looked into it , that information was earlier verified- I was there on July 9th. 3. They state they never told me it was a deposit - attaching a copy of my paperwork provider when it clearly states it was a deposit for the consultation appt. The lack of transparency and blatant dishonesty is enough to make me recommend steering clear of this practice.
