My two boys and I stopped by here on my way to a hike at Jones State Park. The food was wonderful! I loved my Gyro wrap and my boys really enjoyed their huge meatball sub that they shared. Went to check out Thomas's on a Monday with a few friends, and we were happy to find this gem! The restaurant is located in a new strip mall a bit into the city. So if you are from out of town, it's worth making the drive into the city to enjoy the food. The restaurant is inviting and clean with a casual atmosphere. They have a deal on pizzas monday, buy one get one half off. My group ordered two veggie pizzas and they were awesome! They came out piping hot, well made and with a nice crisp crust. Plenty of toppings on top and cheesy, which contributed towards the deliciousness. I strongly recommend. Other menu items include subs, salads, wings, calzones and more. The only thing lacking was service as it seemed like forever for the waitress to come check on us. You also have to pay up front at the cash register, which isnt a big deal. The pizza is just ok. The wings were disgusting and had a whole freaking feather in it so that was a big no no for me!

They prepare everything fresh. It's a cozy little spot tucked away in Lumberton next to Food Lion. The food looks and smells great upon entering. I ordered the baked ziti but all they did was put meat sauce and meatballs on it. There's not a lick of cheese on this dish. What a huge disappointment. Thomas's pizza is legit. I've never been dissapointed with anything I've ordered. The pizza, subs and appetizers are great. The pasta is awesome too. I ordered the mushroom stromboli today....I'm hooked. It was so good. I had to refrain from gobbling that whole thing. The marinara sauce was the best I've had in a long time. The service is also always good. Hidden in a shopping center that houses a Food Lion, Chinese restaurant and bargain store. Don't judge this place by it's surroundings. Fantastic!!!! read more

I really wish there was a 4.5 star option, but there isn't. Read through a few reviews, and thought what the hell, I been wanting me one of them JYROSE, and by golly, that's what the hell I got. I can easily say it was in the top 5, I've had, and I've had quite a few in my days. Maybe the bread wasn't as soft as I'd like to expect. I can say, that my JYROSE came with the BEST fries I'd ever had and the price was only $7.75. I thought that was a helluva deal! Even if I wasn't paying for it. I without a doubt will be back next week to try something else. It appears there will be something for anyone as the menu contains a fuck load of options for even the pickiest most annoying eater. I will say I had one complaint, my sierra mist tasted like it had alcohol in it (like rubbing alcohol), I obviously continued to drink it, but the complaint is, that I didn't even catch a buzz. Usually, when I come to Thomas pizza; like I have on plenty of occasions my food & service has been nothing but great.... today was a totally different story. I have no problem waiting because that expected during these pandemic times but what I didn't expect was my food to be cold and hateful service I received because I asked how long had the pizza been up. I questioned the food because the top of the box was cold and you could look at the pizza & tell that it had been sitting for a while. We all know the difference between hot melted cheese & cooled cheese which does change colors. When I asked about the pizza, I was told the box was cool because the pizza had just came up & sitting in the window under a heat fan. Then I was told that if I canceled the order that "I would not be able to order from them again!"When I asked to speak to a Mgr she said they would say the same thing & that he couldn't interact with customers because of his elderly age. I wasn't asking him to come to my car but he could've even stepped to the door but there was no concern given nor was there a problem with swiping my card. The situation should've been handle more professionally; I know the staff works hard to get everyone there orders & I know everything is different during this pandemic time. The waitress went it complete defensive mode when I questioned her about the pizza; I even tried to show her the pizza & she didn't even want to look at it because she knew the truth. She could've even touched the pizza and I wouldn't have cared. I wasn't asking for free food but just for my pizza to be hot! I was told 20mins & I was there within that time. As with any business or shopper during this time we are all having to adjust to our new normal but decency shouldn't be thrown out the window because of it. read more

I brought the pizza to the counter and the lady said "it happens all the time and they just put it in the oven again" I refused to cook it lingbecause the crust is already very crispy. On 12/23/20 I went by to pick up a call in. I then drove home, 16 miles away. Upon pulling my food out I found I had been given a child's meal. I payed over ten dollars for the meal I ordered. I called and advised the person I talked to about my order. They placed me on hold for a time. When the person came back on they said they could redo my order or give me a order later! I told them I lived 16 miles away, 32 miles round trip! The person on the phone did not seem to care. I told them I was on my way and I wanted to speak to the manager when I arrived. I pulled up and went to the window. I told the person I wanted to speak to the manager. She said she was. I told her that I had to drive 32 miles round trip and I felt my meal should be free. She said, " We are not going to do that. You can keep the kids meal we gave you in error!" I told her that I did not want it because it was not what I ordered. She then started saying, " We are just human!" I told her that her dining area was not even open. They were only doing takeout and could not even get that right. I then tried to give her some constructive advise. Just have her staff to ask each customer to please check there order to insure it was correct. She refused to even listen. She just keep saying, " We are just human!" I then told her she was not even wanting to listen. I then told the manger her customer service sucked! I then told her I would never come back. Her reply was, " That is just fine! I was under the impression that all local businesses needed all the local support they could get but I guess this business is not one of them. I am a senior citizen and I have worked in retail and the food industry. The very first thing I was taught was, " The customer is always right!" You do what you have to do to please the customer. I do not feel a return of my money and a free meal was to much since I had to drive 32 miles and waste 45 minutes of my time with this clueless manger! To everyone out there I recommend you go anywhere else except this business. There customer service is 0 in my book. Have a blessed day. They said I had to give them a star to post this review. Not bad, not great. I think they are one of the better pizza places in the area behind Bravo's and Fairmont.

Good food and consistency is a plus here. Give them a try. Sauce is not to strong as some places are.
