The first thing you should know about this restaurant is the name is actually Jay's Country Kitchen. I tell you this because I don't want you not stopping because it doesn't say Jeff's outside. Any who. What great breakfast. I'm from the South and have had my share of grits but what they do here with grits is freaking incredibly delicious. I literally don't have the words to describe how great they are to eat. Just trust me. Get the grits. The eggs were expertly cooked and liver pudding was perfectly spicy and meaty. The linked sausages were also fantastic. This will be our go to place for breakfast the next time we are visiting family here. Highly recommend. Sometimes the lines here can be super long, I recommend calling your order in ahead. This way you can skip the line and just pick up your order. They have a ton of different flavors, lemon, apple, strawberry, raspberry...all worth trying!! A dozen is good for 2 people ;-). They will keep a couple days if you don't eat them all the first day. My only complaint is that I wish they were open Sundays. Usually I pick them up when I'm passing through on a Friday or Saturday morning headed out of town. Both were excellent appetizers, and we ordered the Philly cheesesteak with sweet potato fries, and a shrimp quesadilla. Hubby loved his cheesesteak, and I can honestly say that the shrimp quesadilla was the best one I've ever had. We noticed lots of families eating and the waiter we had was terrific. We would definitely stop again if in the area. Only thing missing is Yuengling beer on tap - only got one in a bottle.
