I highly recommend Complete Kitchen Design. Bill, Joe, and the rest of the team were great to work…read morewith. When we moved into our house, the kitchen was outdated. It had the original cabinets from the 1970s. The shelves weren't even, and there was barely any counter space to work with. We knew we wanted to replace all the cabinets, get quartz counterop, and upgrade the layout to be more functional. We called another competitor first, and they quoted us that the bare minimum of what we were asking for would be over $45,000, which was more than twice our budget. When we met Bill, he wasn't pushy or salesy. We told him our budget and what we were looking for, and he was able to meet every expectation. It took about 8 weeks for our cabinets to come in/be made. Immediately after that, Joe and the crew came and completed our kitchen renovation within 2 weeks. My partner and I work from home, and the renovation did not disturb our workflow at all. We'll definitely be working with them again in the future when we update our bathrooms!

Had our kitchen done 25 years before and it took months to be completed (a true nightmare). Joe Allen was so patient with us because we had no idea what we wanted plus he designed a perfect change that we needed. Every morning he showed up to check on the job and even helped with moving out all our old appliances. I enjoyed working with his son who also help in picking out backsplash and colors. We were so pleased with them that I would call them again and highly recommend them. Whats nice you can tell they love what they are doing and their work shows it. Another quick note CKD was so fast at coming to give us a quote and very reasonable. Eileen S.

Their prices are reasonable. The store is unpretentious and the staff is friendly. I also like the smell of mixed spices, which they also sell, inside.

I finally visited, bringing a long a few of my kitchen cutlery. When I retrieved them the next day, they were properly sharpened, with a keen edge on each. Sharpening is $3 or $4 for each knife (okay, I can't remember), and they safety sleeve each piece upon return. You will notice many, many new knives of all sorts for sale at the counter and directly behind, hanging on the wall. Reasonably priced, they surely have any knife you might need. A side line is their various cutting boards and cookware. As well, they have sausage-making equipment and the spices to support. On a related note, Ferrari also carries used kitchen cutlery that has been sharpened over time. They might be at the end of their usefulness for professional kitchens, but they still have a lot of life left for home use. I picked up several used knives to supplement my current stock. Bargain pricing for all used knives. I didn't realize that they also specialized in spice blends for all sorts of meat and vegetable preparations. Their selections are almost overwhelming, but again, you will most certainly find a suitable blend for all of your needs. For those of you that smoke meats, they carry a variety of clean hardwood sawdust and wood chips. Have any questions? I did, and the gentleman behind the counter was able to answer them and make suggestions to assist me. They don't have a big presence along Groesbeck Highway, but once inside, you will find their specialty store to be amazing. I recommend!

Just recently due to age and daily use, it started leaking around the bottom exterior hinge area and around areas that are caulked, such as the bottom of the door frame. I stopped in to ask a few questions on how to go about fixing the leaks and they showed me what to do and how. It was a simple fix of using clear caulk and they showed me where exactly to apply it to stop the water from seeping through. I also bought some new plastic stripping for underneath the door because ours had gotten too old. With their advice and suggestions, we are leak free once again and thankful for their knowledge on how to fix it. They do make service calls as well, which is nice to know for future reference. I like the fact that the same two gentlemen that helped us with the purchase and installation 13 years ago are both still working there. It's a well run, professional place to go and they are on my recommendation list for anyone looking to do some updating in their current home or are looking for something nice for a new home.

I understand if they couldn't sell me the panes for whatever reason, but sending a quick message back explaining that is customer service 101. I'm sure the actual workers are great at what they do, but the side that brings in the bacon (aka customers) needs some serious TLC/training/bootcamp/new people.
