Dr. Prose got my braces on and off in less than 2 years without pulling any teeth. That was 6 years ago. Last night my permanent retainer chipped ( the glue that holds it to my teeth) I called Dr. Prose's office this morning and was immediately scheduled for a same-day appointment. They are always friendly and very careful when they work, the office is very clean, and their work is awesome. Very highly recommended.

I moved to the area a year ago and needed to get my wisdom teeth taken out. So I researched and seen all the locations are not far from my house. I've seen some positive reviews on here and on their website so I decided to try them out. The 2 doctors I've seen were very nice. When I went in for a consultation I met with Dr. Adams and he was very polite and told me how they would extract my teeth. 2 weeks later I went in for the 2 wisdom teeth and I met Dr. Brar, he was really nice and the nurse who was with me that day was also very nice, I don't remember her name. The procedure itself didn't take very long at all, and my mouth is very small so one side was much much harder then the other and I have to give it to Dr. Brar that he did not get frustrated and calmly told me what was going on the whole time. It was a successful procedure in the end, except part of a filling I had on the tooth in front of the wisdom tooth fell off and he told me that it looked decayed and that I needed a crown put on it. When I went in to get my stiches removed, they were very pushy about setting up a time to get that crown done which I didn't like. When I went to my regular dentist for his opinion he said I would not need a crown put on it and that I could just get it re-filled. So I saved a lot of money by getting his opinion. I got this procedure done in October 2015 and before I left that day they gave me some random amount to pay for the procedure. So I did that and she said the paperwork would be put through to my insurance. Well half way through November I received a bill for the full amount of the procedure when it still has not gone through my insurance. I called and asked about it and a lady told me not to worry about the bill and that they were putting it through insurance that week. It is now the end of December and I have received yet another bill with late fees and the full amount being charged AGAIN. It still has not gone through my insurance and when I called today she said they had a glitch and that she was putting it through insurance today. It just seems like they don't know what their doing at the reception desk, and its frustrating when you know you have an outstanding bill hanging over your head. Update 6/29/16: they didnt bill my insurance until February after calling them multiple times! Luckily I have good insurance and only had to pay $201.95 out of pocket for a $1,500 procedure. Now the kicker is they owe me $98.05 because I paid them $300 the day I got the procedure done but still have not gotten that back..

Last week, it broke and the wire was making eating quite difficult and speaking quite painful. Dr. Patel, who isn't even my doctor squeezed me in on a Saturday, before he left for a wedding. I just thought he'd remove the wire, but he removed the wire, ground down the cement, cleaned my bottom teeth and installed a new retainer in thirty minutes. Impressive! It's hard for me to even give 1 star. I would not recommend this business because of multiple…read morereasons: Poor Communication - We often call and no one answers the phone. They seem to be inadequately staffed. We leave a message and never get a call back - a prime example of this is when my daughter lost her retainer, we called and left approximately 12 messages over the span of three weeks and never received a call back. I don't understand that at all; it had to have been deliberate ignoring because it wasn't worth their time or money? It's possible it would've been covered under our insurance plan but since we couldn't get a call back I had to go to a different orthodontist and pay $250 for another retainer. We have spoken with the orthodontist on the phone and have a hard time getting a word in - hanging up, we feel unheard. We ask a question and it's hard to get a clear, direct answer. Oftentimes, it's pre-teen and teenage patients getting braces, and this group doesn't communicate with the parents at all - during Covid, we couldn't go in the office with them, so it exacerbated the issue. Poor orthodontic practices - I was never allowed to go with my daughter to the back (another thing that would have been a nice option - parent presence with the ortho would present the opportunity to ask questions, have him explain what he is doing and what next steps are, etc.), but she reported multiple things to me: Poor hygiene - Orthodontist doesn't wear a mask and doesn't always even wear gloves, both of which should be standard in both dental and orthodontic practices, covid or not! (and has coffee breath). Orthodontist sprays spit while talking, and the spit has actually gone on her face and in her mouth! (Once again, wear a mask) Divided attention- Orthodontist talks to assistants while working on her, keeping her with her mouth hanging open while he addresses other issues and questions Poor skills - Orthodontist has actually dropped brackets and wires into her mouth while working so she has to try to spit them back out. She literally choked on a piece of wire an inch long; it was in her throat and she was trying to cough it up and the orthodontist said it wasn't a big deal and she'll just pass it in her stool. When getting a mold done for a retainer they didn't give her any rinse to get the material out of her mouth. The retainer also did not fit well afterward.

Am very disappointed on the poor customer service they have I can't judge on their orthodontics work yet because am not even able to schedule an appointment I tried again today 01/31 at 10:30 & 11:20am and still no one answer , I do understand that some places there is no doctor every day but I would think they should have someone to answer the phones to schedule appointments.
