In addition the technician left the cap off the condensate line and the float switch uninstalled. Numerous technicians have been out to fix a condensate draining problem which they are unable to fix. Additionally, they cut my condensate drain line during one of their visits which is now leaking from the coupler they installed. This company is horrible.

I was not pointing fingers, but simply trying to determine what contractors were at fault. Gochnauer's employee Brian S. sent me the following e-mail verbatim: "I cannot believe the gall you have to even think this, let alone say this, Judd. We showed you proof the driveway was not us. And I paid for the ceiling we also did not do with proof. I let that ceiling go because it was already done. I am paying for that, personally, not the company or my guys because they didn't do it. Do not email me again." Really? This is how they treat their customers who just gave them two jobs and paid close to $10K. I will not do business again with such a thoughtless company nor should you. I called to speak to the owner today but I got a call back from the GM who never once provided an apology. Bush league company! Maybe I will dispute the last job they did since now I was told to not e-mail them again. Here is another quote from Brian S. regarding the sheetrock: "THANKS FOR THE INFORMATION. IF YOU BELIEVE THE SHEETROCK WAS TRULY DAMAGED ON SATURDAY, SOUNDS LIKE WE DID IT SINCE WE WERE THE ONLY PEOPLE THERE THAT DAY. I CAN HAVE SOMEONE TAKE CARE OF THE SHEETROCK IF YOU AGREE." - So he owns up to doing it in this quote but then says he didn't do it later. As for the driveway, it was recently poured and damaged during the install. It was done by either the HVAC company, spray foam company or ductwork install crew. Nobody will own up to it. Contractors around Bluffton have a bad reputation for a reason. Be careful who you choose.

Here is a summary of our experience: We called this company due to an emergency where our air went out on a Saturday morning. The temps in the home were well above 95 degrees and we have an infant in the home who was devolving heat rash. Although the Technician came out and was kind, he could not fix the unit. The tech explained that the owner would come out Monday to look at the system and talk with us about our options in completely replacing the A/c and Furnace since it was unrepairable. Before departing the tech tells us the emergency call out would cost roughly $200 dollars. We asked to pay right then but were told we'd receive an email with the bill and could pay it online. Monday rolls around and we call to obtain a time since we called out of work to meet with the boss to go over the system and cost for replacement. We were told they were going to discuss everything that occurred over the weekend in the morning meeting and call us back with a time (this was at 8am). At 12:30 we call back for an update and were told the dispatcher was out to lunch and to call back because they are not sure what came of the meeting. At 4 we receive a phone call that the boss would not be coming out and around 4:45 they proceed to email a quote without speaking with us or viewing the system. Again, there is an infant in the home and purposely took the day off to meet with the owner to exhaust our options so we can get air moving throughout the home again. Shortly later we received a bill for Saturday where we were charged 4x the amount we were told. YES - $800!! No parts, no solution, and no working air. This company showed no interest in our business or trying to help a family in a crisis. If I could give this company zero stars I would. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID AVOID AVOID.
