I went through my insurance carrier and decided to get the work done at a local dealer who sat on the repair order for nearly eight months until they shuttered their own collision shop at the end of 2022. My theory is they knew they were going to shut it down long before they did which is why the job was never done. I connected with Auto Nation Collision (formerly Frankel) in January and had the car looked over by Joe who said it would be a few months before they could get the job done. In Mid March I received a call from Carolyn, who is among the best in the front of the house customer service. She mentioned that due to a cancellation, they had a spot open 4/3. Of course I accepted. Joe and Carolyn remained in touch constantly throughout the process and I picked up my vehicle today looking (almost) as nice as it did when I bought it seven years ago. Bumper replaced to OEM specs and I'm a happy camper having my car back! What a contrast between the two businesses! Their work is guaranteed "for life!" Again, Carolyn and Joe are the best automotive pros I've encountered in a very long time. I commend Auto Nation Collision to all.

AND, after 10 days, I could not start my car this morning. I called AAA and found out the battery and computer are loose and all bolts and screws were not put back . I have been driving with loose battery and car computer for two weeks! It is terrifying me!

And parking is a bit of a mess. I needed an oil change, and diagnosis/replace some suspension parts. Wasn't quite sure where the noise was coming from, but I had an inconsistent clunking noise in the driver wheel well. Oil change went fine, although it did take around 2 hours. I was told they use race oil and premium filters (along with other parts) you won't be able to find in stores, so I was ok with the wait. Onto the suspension diagnosis, this is where I would recommend Vince's over ANY other mechanic. I was told they took my car for a test drive and could definitely hear a clunking, but even after a visual inspection they couldn't find an issue. I was told they just bought a very expensive computer with sensors and microphones which could attach to the undercarriage to better understand where the noise was coming from. Diagnosis was $150, and I was assured it would work. They hooked it up and within 30 minutes they had a test drive complete and told me it was the stabilizer links on the driver's side. Total repair was about $350 for both sides. The repair would be a couple of hours Vince told me, and offered to give me a ride back home. I live about 2 miles away but still, GREAT gesture. Left my car at the shop around 1030, and around 4pm I got a call saying my car was done and they'd bring it over to my place, pick me up, and have me test drive it back to the shop. Instantly I could feel the difference and NO CLUNKING NOISE. Around $100 for oil change, $150 for diagnosis, and $350 for stabilizer links Great friendly service, labor was done professionally (they keep bins with hardware which comes off the car, to prevent losing bolts, fasteners etc.), successful and interesting diagnosis, timely repairs, and even offered to drop me off and pick me up after the work was done. I can't name a shop not only in the area, but in the entire nation I'd recommend more than Vince's. First time visiting Vince's, would absolutely visit again

Trying to sell this vehicle now and being told by another mechanic that this car should never have passed inspection due to exhaust and other tire rode issues. Please do not purchase a car from this mechanic shop. Save your money and go to a shop that knows what they are doing and hires real mechanics and no young kids from the STEM program to work on customer's vehicles. I feel like I was sold a lemon from the start. Totally frustrated with the place.

He also told me He couldn't see it being anymore than $600 even if he did replace the whole exhaust system. Well, lets just say.... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE PLEASEE AND DO NOT LET THIS GUY HUSTLE YOU FOR MONEY. Everyone needs money, needs to get fed.. I understand that, but don't kill your customers with the prices.
