Had issues with my VSC, Anti-lock brakes and cruise control. They were able to find the issue and made the necessary repairs. The troubleshooting did not go well. Problem was solved by pure stubbornness and old-fashioned hard work. The factory manual was of little help, but the Technicians found the problem and for about 1/2 of what I expected to pay. I have 4 vehicles; they have kept 3 of them running well. The 3rd hasn't been there yet. I have over 10 years of automotive maintenance experience, ASE has been a great help. read more

DO NOT GET YOUR CAR FIXED FROM HERE ! ! ! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NOT FIXS YOUR CAR !I dropped my car off Thursday for a diagnostic test to tell me what's wrong with my car. They said they couldn't tell me what's wrong with my car but charge me for an oil change. My car was still unable to drive without jerkin while pulling off after being told my car was working and driving fine. I got out the car and told the man my car is not running normal. He told me I can leave my car and he will charge me $100 for another diagnostic test. Why would I ever do that when you were suppose to do that the first time when I was charged $100. I really deserve a refund. This shop needs to be shut down and out of business. read more

My experience was they behaved like they did not want my business - failed to provide written estimate, did not return phone calls, left car very dirty. And I also think the problems they reported to me that needed attention, was them ripping me off. Needless to say, so glad they didnt want my business! read more

About 1.5-2 years ago, I was recommended by this place from another mechanic who I used to go to in Catonsville following an accident I was involved in. During this time, the interaction I had with the owner was very pleasant. He was flexible with drop off and pick up and even though the other persons insurance was covering costs, he was willing to still work with me on cost for the repairs. With that being said, I recently had to go to another shop for more body work closer to where I currently live. As that work was being done, something came up regarding prior work done at this shop. I brought the concern up with the owner, explained what happened and he was very apologetic and maintained a very high level of professionalism! Not once did he get defensive about the quality of the work and in fact he compensated me for the additional cost I had to pay this time around for the same work done by the new shop. Despite the quality of the work done at the time, sounds like he was able to recognize where the issues were and have re-assessed his business and while doing so, is making a genuine attempt to maintain good rapport with his customers. read more

This place has no clue how to fix anything that doesn't have comic book instructions... I took my vw beetle and I was taken for over $2100. When supplied with an engine to put in after dropping out the other they had no clue it's only 4 bolts AND THEY KEPT MY CAR THE ENTIRE WARRANTY PERIOD OF THE ENGINE... When I went to pick up the ebbing that came outta my car - I have been given a broken & incomplete core and all the attachments missing.... I'ma attempting to continue dialogs but to no avail... MUST I RESORT TO LEGAL ACTION..? I think so due to the lack of response to me about very specific items... They are just ignoring me at this point.... DON'T DO IT.... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE read more

Bad people. I went to the shop as a recommendation of a family member and they did general maintenance work but never repaired what was needed in my car to fix why my car failed emissions. Had they replaced the oxygen sensors a year ago, I would need a full catalytic converter. read more

While the repairs that WERE done were somewhat discounted rates compared with some, they did not complete the check of things I asked, even after sitting for 4 hours in the lobby dealing with the unanswered and constant phone ringing, listening to nasty reprimanding that the owner felt was appropriate in front of me as a customer when he was annoyed with employees ( techs passing through the small lobby ) The lobby itself is filthy and freezing cold with a 20 year old manual space heater for any relief ( does not warm more than one person at a time, and only when practically sitting ON IT ) as the techs and owner leave the doors open for long stretches ( this is WINTER) as they regularly come and go through the tight lobby.. Techs were quiet and greeted when eye contact was made. Seemed scared of the owner who appears to be stuck in an aging Justin Bieber complex. The owner did not bother to speak or greet me ever ( or anyone else who came and went, waiting on their cars) , from the time he arrived at 9:30 AM or so, until he finally "stepped out for a bit" out with his girlfriend around noon. The owner allows his girlfriend to visit for long periods, rudely controlling the only television that is THERE FOR PAYING GUESTS, and he and his girlfriend eat and hang out in the already tiny lobby in front of waiting guests and ringing phones, never speaking to anyone else. While other employees and managers eat and break in a break area out of view, the owner and his rude girlfriend spent over an hour ( I left shortly after an hour of their monopolizing hangout ) cooing at another table, feet away from me as I sat as captive audience to their personal conversations, her cell phone videos on full blast, and then the television on their political channel, AFTER being asked if I was watching what was currently on. I was, and said so. He took the remote and changed it ANYWAY to put her personal choice for programming on loud volume and removed the remote entirely from the guest table. HUH?? This, as they continued to socialize with each other in front of me for what was an outrageous amount of time for a 'visitor' who was supposedly "bringing him lunch". Other employees did not act surprised by the situation, her lengthy presence, or his embarrassing reprimands, though their faces showed natural embarrassment in front of guests. This has to be their norm. His attitude, rudeness to me and verbal sarcasm and reprimands to respectful employees in front of guests, and his girlfriends lengthy, monopolizing, prioritized presence in a paying customer's ONLY AREA TO WAIT is INEXCUSABLE. This ended with a polite manager ( Bryan ) finally telling me my car was "ready", though after I asked about the REST of the things on the list to address, he admitted things had been undone "because the tech who was going to do them just stepped out for a bit". Huh???? A super nice receptionist who arrived shortly before I left, made sure to immediately direct the lame heater to me, ask how I was, if I was warm enough, etc.... I had been there all morning in the misery and was soon to leave at that point. very nice woman, nonetheless. She even greeted me by my first name and with a big smile when she walked in the door, remembering my name from our only introduction when I stopped in the day before for my estimate. Impressive. Four hours as captive audience in a sub-par waiting area and just under 400.00 dollars later, I just sincerely hope that the unseen things like MY ALIGNMENT were actually done. Who knows? I would have preferred waiting even LONGER in the hell, IF IT MEANT MY CONCERNS LISTED WERE COMPLETED AND ADDRESSED. Never. again. read more

The best body shop in town. I scratched the front bumper on my Honda Pilot early Saturday morning. I went to ASE as soon as I realized they were opened. They told me to bring in the car on Tuesday morning. I thought that it would be done on the following Tuesday instead I got a call the next day from Bryan telling me that the car is ready. I picked up my car today and it looks good as new. The staff was professional. The work was top notch. I would recommend to all my friends. read more
