Here are a few examples pertaining to the fools working the area of Airport Way in Manteca. First of all, the guys who "direct" traffic...more like go out of their way to snarl traffic. They walk around with their stop/slow signs (which are duct-taped on the handle for added professional image) and twirl them around in the air as they stand in the middle of traffic flow. They don't pay attention to which way traffic is flowing down the one way street and often have vehicles going both directions at the same time in the one lane. Next, kudos to the equipment drivers. I routienely see the backhoe/loader driver tearing up and down West Yosemite at a high rate of speed with workers hanging off the side of the equipmet. Thank God they have their hard hats on though in case they fall off and get run over by a tractor doing 35 mph so at least their heads won't get crushed. Oh yeah, and I can't forget a special shout out to my favorite guy who stands in the middle of the intersetcion with flashing red lights and tells everyone how to use the 4 way stop, in case we forget. BTW, he likes to tell people to make a left turn in front of on coming traffic, so watch out for this dumbass. So, the moral of this yelp would be to avoid anywhere that D.A. Wood is doing construction!!

I have a complaint to lodge. But first. The company has been…read moredoing street work (upgrading water lines I believe) near my office and we have been happy with their progress and attempts not to interfere with traffic. However, recently my medical office was delivered a notice at noon saying our water (restrooms) would be turned off tomorrow from 8am-4pm (so less than 24hours notice). Also, a note saying it should be limited to 4 hours or less. So, upon receiving the news and not being able to operate a medical office without restrooms we decided to close the business for the day. We left messages and rescheduled 75 patients due to the last minute notice. Then a few hours later after we had called asking about possible construction work, they called back and said our water would only be turned at 3 pm. After I complained to Kimber about the poor communication that cost my office a day of business is response was to say the notice say the notice says for only 4 hours. Within an 8 hour window makes that an unacceptable response to a business that schedules patients/clients. I understand work has to done and services need to be disrupted, but the poor customer service should be reported to groups and entities that plan on hiring this busisness in the future.

Hailey, our sales rep, arrived on time and conducted a professional walk-through to hear our ideas. We discussed rough quotes for the kitchen and bathroom remodels, and she presented the option of a $10k design phase contract as a first step. We wanted to compare multiple contractors before committing and requested a written quotation first. The next day, I followed up via voicemail and text to ask about the quotation and clarify any questions. I received no response. I followed up again on 3/31 but did not receive a reply. Based on this, I assume the company is not interested, but I would have appreciated clear communication rather than no response at all.
