It was a day-and-night difference from another shop I struggled with that week. In the other shop, I was told that the tire would be ready in next day (not available), then 3 day later (not available again) and a week later. In contrast, Big4 got the matching tire next day. .. really saved my week for this rather exotic car. I saw how they meticulous took care of the car. I asked them to use the exact torque (103 lbs-ft) for the wheel bolts, and I saw they hand fastened each bolt with a torque wrench! Then they put the exact air pressure (42 PSI, I didn't tell them but they got it from the door sticker). This 42 PSI pressure is very important for the safe operation of Polestar 2. Overall, they did everything timely (waiting time was very short), yet handled everything very professionally. Some other notes: ---Customer reception area was spacious, clean and welcoming. That space didn't have any "tire smell" that is commonly found in most tire shops. Actually the door had a sign, "don't bring a tire inside" so I could tell they try to make this space as nice as possible. There were two nice old water paintings decorating the wall, and many photos and the big wooden American flag and Big4 sign. I liked how they decorated the reception. ---I saw a firetruck being serviced at another slot. I didn't know a firetruck could be placed in a private shop like this, and that scene was kind of assuring that even a firetrucks being sent here for service. I am so happy to find this shop, and can recommend it to anyone.

I come at the end of the day to pick up the car and am told they found rubbing on the brake/rotor and fixed it at no charge. As I pull out there is no fix, the same noises come from the front of my car. Waste of my time and two missed days of travel for my job.

Things went well until I drove away. I think there are new scratches on my rims but I can't prove that so I will give them the benefit of the doubt. I should have photographed all four wheels prior to the work. The biggest problem was that the tires were not inflated properly. I got warnings right away that three of the four tires had low pressure. To me this is a very basic requirement when replacing tires. All 4 should be inflated to the proper pressure. I feel like this is a very basic service that they neglected to do.

My husband and my dad have used Jason's Auto Repair in Liverpool on and off for Harley inspections…read moreand auto repairs; today will be the last however. I drove my dad over today to pick up his vehicle before Jason's employees could begin any work on it. This was after I happened to read a snarky and mean spirited social media post Jason made on his business Facebook page mocking my father. It strikes me as odd that the owner has so much extra time to spend in his air conditioned office on social media, than in the shop. Anyway, my dad got the keys from Jason's wife in the office and was walking out, when Jason confronted him in the parking lot in a very aggressive and confrontational manner. I was concerned for my dad who is 80 years old, small stature, and mostly deaf. It's obvious Jason could benefit from anger management classes after seeing his behavior today, and the way he responds to people on social media who say anything he doesn't agree with. His comments reflect his condescending, arrogant, and hostile attitude. On his Facebook business page Jason mocks my dad's BMW for failing inspection elsewhere, and then again at his shop, for a broken tire spring. A repair that Jason called "minimal." I don't think a lot of folks just getting by would agree that $1,600 is "minimal." Jason made a point of emphasizing on his post that the vehicle was a BMW. Yes, it's a LATE MODEL BMW X3 SUV. How is that even relevant? The vehicle belonged to my now deceased mother. It was her wish before she passed from breast cancer to own one luxury car in her lifetime. Frankly, my dad is happier driving his 13 year old Toyota Tacoma pick-up truck w/out all the bells and whistles. Speaking of which, today Jason was screaming at my father claiming my dad gave him a hard time a couple years ago when the pick-up failed inspection for a broken sway bar. That was completely FALSE. Records on file prove Jason PASSED the truck, and my dad himself discovered the broken sway bar after the fact. He took it back to Jason's for the repair. Bottom line- use caution when dealing with this shop, as the owner has a scary temper. He will no doubt write a rebuttal to this and claim I'm a "liar" or mark it as "spam" as that is his modus operandi with all negative reviews left online. I stand behind what I wrote! Thankfully we found another local shop today who will do the repair (minus $300) and this owner (who is familiar with BMW parts) doesn't judge an elderly man driving a BMW, make inaccurate assumptions, and mock him on social media.

Would call with information. !.5 seeks later still no call so we called and were told it wasn't even looked at yet and they were going on vacation in a few days for a week. (what why were we not told that when we dropped it off, oh wait because we were told a few days for a call..) So now we're into week 4 and still not a word of any work, so again we call( never them) and are told that the part we brought was wrong and they had to get a new part, another week goes by and nothing, then we get told oh the rack is bad and we need to have it replaced,,, at a cost of $2000, ( original price of other work was about $400 or so) so we say to do it and still 2 more weeks later it finally got worked on and completed. 6= weeks for a power steering cable. Excuse after excuse, and throw in a vacation. This is poor service and we had a similar situation with our van there, but thought maybe he got better. Our mistake. If you don't need your car/truck/van soon go here but other wise be prepared to wait and wait and wait for him to even look at the vehicle. Then up the price by adding on other repairs. Did he apologize, yes, was it okay? no. I am sure lots of other cars were in and out while ours sat waiting to even get in. This is a poor service company. I am sure this review will be met with them in a nasty way, it is what they do to poor reviews, lose their temper. but I am stating actual facts that he had to acknowledge when the truck was finally done. Will never recommend or be returning, fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me. Go anywhere but here.

Bumbling stumbling fools. Ok so here is my story. I damaged the front plastic bumper,…read moregtill/headlight on my Santa Fe get an estimate, mention to Mark that a connector was damand plan a drop off at the Dewitt Northside. They move my drop off date but fail to inform Enterprise so no rental is available and I end up with a pos loaner with a ton of air fresheners, I don't want to think what it smelled like without them. So it was supposed to take 2-3 weeks but instead it took almost 6. My vehicle sat so long mice started to make a nest in it. As for the quality of the repair, the paint work (front edge of the hood) looks good. They didn't mask very well though i had to remove some overspray from the passenger window. The assembly appears to have been done by a group of kindergarteners. Various part mot fully snapped into place, retainer clips missing etc. I'm still working on getting everything correct. So stay away from northside for anything. I really wish that zero star reviews were allowed.
