I once drove right off the highway into their lot with every engine light on, and my car was diagnosed, fixed, and ready to drive again very shortly after. They even supported me through getting reimbursement from a shop that had done poor work leading to this issue. I feel that the cost is reasonable compared to what I've paid other places, I am often pleasantly surprised with the total for services. Call ahead and they can often tell you when the best time to come in is for the quickest service!

I have Parkinson's and the van has been converted to accommodate a wheelchair and fitted w a ramp. I need it to stay independent. The reviews on Yelp were so positive I called and got an appointment. Allow me to say, you all were so right. This place knocked my socks off. John is so thoughtful and thorough, he doesn't make you feel like a loser if you need to have something explained, and he's a problem solver. McKenzie, the young woman working the counter, is similarly on the job, and is equally thoughtful. For example, seeing I use a wheelchair, they made it easier for me to access the office and in a way that was matter of fact and not condescending. When I needed to return the next day for an inspection sticker, McKenzie met me outside the office while still in the van, and did the back and forth on my behalf. It might seem minor but it's so nice to have someone see and act on the "little" things that make life easier to maneuver. Bottom line: Bayberry Automotive is now my go-to garage of choice. They were great w my car, and w me. They have my strong endorsement.

Long story short....I came initially to see if my battery was running low which was causing the power steering in my Subaru (electric powered steering). The battery was fine but the mechanic notice that one of the cables in the power steering was loose. He plugged it back in --NO Problem SINCE!!! Now, I have already made an appointment with Fox Subaru to get it fixed...(estimated cost $1300) . The $15 saved me over a grand!!!! They could have lied and not do anything but did not. These guys at Pep Boys showed some integrity and real class. They have earned my trust and I will be their customer for life. Thank you guys for your great service and honesty.

One man took phone calls and did paperwork while the other sat in his chair staring at the desk while on hold with a dealership. The first man asked what I needed and then told me to speak to the man in the phone. He was angry that he had to deal with the customers while his co-worker stayed on the phone. That man them proceeded to check in the man behind me first (I am a woman). When I finally got checked in, I was told they didn't know when they would get to me because I checked in online and "corporate shouldn't allow people to check in online when they didn't know how busy the shop" was. Finally, they told me the job was done and checked me out. I got two blocks away in the rain and realized they hadn't touched my car! I drove back and discovered that they had serviced the wrong car!!!! What a mess.
