Self service car wash is a disaster and a scam. No prewash fluid. No soap. All bays are dirty and only 1 had the brush hung up. So there is no maintenance here. Want a scratched car. Use this place! Needless to say the matchine charges $5.00 minumum, even if you only use 2:37 of pressure water before trying to quit to save money. Lots of landscaping debris in the bays, not for people with nice cars. Since vivid, this place has gone down hill bad. After today, I'll never come back. I feel like I've been molested by the car wash machine and its owners. Ewe. Time to start washing at home. read more

I needed a car wash and decided to use the shell auto wash (NOT touchless). I was extremely impressed with the gentleman prepping my car as he really put in the time and effort to get the major grime and pollen on the car loosened up before removing my radio antenna and starting me into the wash. He was polite, professional, and pleasant. He was there when I came out the other end to make sure my antenna was reinstalled. The car looks great, and I will definitely be back. read more

I went in for a car wash and was waiting in line just behind another customer, who happened to be a Black man. He made his purchase and left, polite as could be. As soon as he was out the door, the older white man who was working, and said he was the owner, started commenting on the fact that he was wearing a necklace and it could get stolen. Weird, but just trying to pay for my car wash. He then said, "I don't see color, I was raised to be color blind", and I knew I was about the hear the most racist crap I'd heard in a while, and I did. He started going off on how groups of people of color (not what he said) would go into stores and just steal everything and that's why stores were leaving Seattle. I said that wasn't true, stores were leaving because shrink was increasing, not due to outside theft, but corporate mismanagement and some internal (employee) theft. I also said that I grew up in a very white area, and my white class mates had no trouble stealing from stores, but I suppose that doesn't matter. The vacuum cleaner was not sucking at all. I saw a guy who was collecting money at the car wash so I at least wanted address the situation because everyone after me will wastes time and money. The guy told me to go to the Shell gas station. I went there but the gas station had nothing to do with the car wash and vacuum. I really wonder who was the guy collecting money at the place now. So I got my 2000 Mercedes washed at the Thrashers Corner Shell and Car the other day. Their was a young guy pre washing the car before it entered the wash. During the prewash the guy broke my windshield wiper. No big deal I though, I will contact the owner and get it replaced. Man was I wrong. I have yet to talk to the owner, Dan Win. Their was an old funny looking guy attending the counter by the name of Jessie. After telling him what happened he started cussing up a storm, yelling, and telling me that he couldn't do anything about it. What a dick! The unfortunate individual told me to contact the owner; he gave me his name and the number to the store. I call on Sunday and leave a message, I am told the owner, and Dan Win of Bothell will return my call. By Monday end of business I hear nothing. So, after a long day at work (was in the office until 8pm) I call the store expecting to leave a message. This Jessie guy answers the phone. I tell him that I want to leave a message. Knowing that it tends to rain in Seattle, I tell him that if I don't hear anything back I will go ahead and fix car and expect to be reimbursed for my costs. The looser starts yelling at me again, telling me that Dan Wins Lawyers are going to bury me, that I have no ground in my request, he starts upping words in my mouth, etc.... This guy told me that I said that I would call the cops; I never said anything about that. What a flake. Anyway, I don't know whose teeth I am going to have to pull to get my windshield wiper fixed. I'm glad that I can edit these reviews because I would hate for this guy to have such a bad vibe about his business. I'm glad I read these reviews before I tried to talk to a manager. Seems that I'm not the only one with an issue with this place. I've been going to this gas station and car wash for a decade. Not because it's great, it's because it's close. Yesterday I had an interaction with the car wash guy that fancies himself the "lead." Rude, aggressive and unprofessional. When a customer makes a faux pas, you politely remind them about how things work. You don't belittle them, you certainly don't hurl epithets. They are customers who are paying for a service, not abuse. When I called him on bad behavior, things went from bad to worse and we ended up in a screaming match. if I was half the man I used to be, he'd be waking up in Harborview. I had to walk off in frustration because I have too much to lose if ended up smacking this guy. Now, this employee looks an awful lot like the manager guy in the station, so I figure there's a nepotism thing going on and talking about my negative experience is probably a waste of time/ air. Probably a safe bet that the reason the employee feels he can get verbal with a customer is because he's comfortable in his position. That comfort probably comes from knowing that his brother is running the joint and is therefore untouchable. So after reading the reviews about similar incidents...now I know for sure, that doing anything other than taking my business elsewhere would be pointless. So I warn you dear reader... we've got a real good pattern emerging of a BAD business. It's a telling indicator when I write something like this, because I'm the kind of guy that never complains or points fingers at the worker bees. Most people don't intentionally try to ruin relations with customers, you know? These people need a good hard kick in the rear. The best way to do that is not go there. Seriously, I'd rather drive to another city and spend twice as much money on a car wash than deal with the meth heads working at that place. The pump wasn't giving receipts which is always a bummer. I bought a car wash so I had to go into the shop for it - which is not ideal in Covid times. I waited my turn with the cashier. He was friendly, but wearing his mask below his nose. I wish they had more concern for public health. read more

My wife drives a hybrid car and watches the fuel consumption very carefully. (with an "Angry Bird" kind of passion.) She noticed that when she filled up at this Shell station, she got 2 mpg less fuel performance, and this is repeatable. I notice the pump is difficult to use because of the anti-drip mechanism. Coupled with difficult path to leave the place, this gas station is not a great experience. read more

I've been getting my cars washed here for years e cause its close to home, and there's no other choice! I can't stand to drive a dirty car.....so alas I grin and bear it. DO NOT WASH YOUR CAR HERE. I have a brand new truck they scratch the heck out of it with their brushes. When they prewash the car with the brushes they have no clue what they are doing. I watched them use dry brushes on the car in front of me. When I got out of the car wash, I had fine scratches all along the rear fender. You can see what they did. They used the brush on the running boards, pickup all kinds of gritty dirt then ran the brush along the fender. The tail light and corner of the rear bumper where also scratched. The manager said there was no way they did that I had must of brushed up against a bush. That is just BS. The scratches where not random or straight, they where in a sweeping motion following the outline of the fender. He said go ahead and take them to court because their brushes can't make those kinda of scratches. Well they can if the bush is full of gritty dirt and not washed out. read more

it seems that i'm not the only one complaining about this place, if anything happens to your car at the place they would not help you at all, This is the worst place i ever go to wash my car. I was washing my car the coin car wash and the machine stole my money, I went and complain about to a old guy and he start yelling at me that the machines always working perfectly and that he doest not believe what i said. I did not bother to call the owner, because i know that he will just said BS to me. He even was yelling at me and saying that i was dumping garbage in the garbage container just because i was next to it. Please save your money and your time by not going here. read more

Finally, a passable car wash in the state of Warshington. (Why do some folk add an "r" where clearly none exists?) Anyway, I digress... this drive-through car warsh is attached to a Shell station, so you get the obligatory upsell when you're done pumping gas. There's a pleasant fellow who takes your car wash code and scrubs down your ride before entering the tornado-in-a-tunnel, and a series of blow driers at the end. No attendant to help dry off the whip, but hey, what do you expect for a sub-$10 wash? At least the outside gets nice and clean for five minutes until it starts raining again. I used the car wash today around 12:00 and paid for the 15.00 wash and it was no different than the 9.00 one. I paid cash, gave them a 5.00 tip and I am sure they sent me through the 9.00 one and pocketed the rest. I am very disappointed. someone needs to check the help. read more

Coin car wash sucks...High pressure soap has no soap but just water...Same with tire wash, spot free rinse and foam brush...This place is close to home and is of convenience and was hoping its got decent facilities. I'm not coming back unless owners put some product into water!!! read more

The only scratches on my Mini Cooper are from this car wash and every time I look at them, it makes me sad. If your business model is to save money by not using water in a pre-wash, I would hope that you would be accountable for the results. I notified the manager straight away, and he acknowledged the scratches and gave me Mr. Win's contact information (I also left my business card). Rule number two; If I am wrong refer to rule number one.... Your comment about contractors, good or bad, your internet record speaks for itself, you don't care period. We, your customers, expect good service for a good price. Can you fix that broken car wash brush on the right side. Maybe charge less since your car wash is broken... I contacted my insurance company today and they recommended I verify and document the damage from your employee actions. When you question your employees are they going to be honest or....fearful.
