I was worried going here during COVID but Fatima was wonderful, polite, she took my temperature and did a wonderful job on my eyebrows and lips! I've been here in the past and another woman was not nice but after 2 visits in 2021, I'll be back! My only suggestion is that someone should wipe down the eyebrow chairs in between people & then alternate seats while the chair dries. read more

I haven't gone for a eye brow threading for almost 2.5 years due to the pandemic and had a baby. Thus, today, since I was at the mall for an event already and my husband was there watching our kids..I quickly stopped in threading station to see if they had any availability. The lady said she did but told me to wait a minute. Meanwhile, she continued to talk on her cell phone and proceeded to make me wait- ok thats fine. As she finally hung up her phone, she comes to thread my eyebrows. I told her I just wanted to clean-up my brows and please dont make it super thin. I sit down and leaned back...I have not had my eye brows threaded in a long time thus I had forgotten how I was suppose to help hold my eyelid. Lady tells me to hold my eyelid and I am still unsure how exactly I was suppose to hold my eyelids.. a little direction/help wouod have been nice... instead she yells at me, "you know what a eyelid is??" omg wow how rude was she? no one has ever said that to me.. usually they just help guide your hand and help you with where to place your hand! she also did the quickest eye threading...I couldnt believe she was done. I took a look in the mirror and noticed the brows were not completely cleaned. Thus I debated if I should ask her to just clean up those little areas. I decided to ask because whats the point of getting your eyebrows done if you have to go home and fix it yourself? she agreed to fix it for me but was so rude! she proceeds to tell me it was not her fault because I kept my finger there the whole time on that part of the eyelid so she could not see. I explained to her in the nicest way possible that I really did not remember how to hold my eyelid since I have not had this done in so long thus, I had no idea. She could've helped me and told me to move my hand. Anyways, what was suppose to be a nice treat yo self - turned out to be such a terrible experience. she also thinned out my eyebrows to much thinner than I would like! Trying to find a good place to go for threading and the Threading Station is just another bad one on my list. Uneven sloppy threading. NO shaping - I do a much better job by myself with tweezers and a scissor! Absolutely positively NO customer service. Other than "can I help you" and pointing to the chair she wanted me to use... nothing. And seriously... $12! Everyplace else is $7-$10. So I overpaid for a terrible job. Avoid this place. read more

I've never felt so insulted nor had to spend so much to feel so ugly. I have a hard time with my brows which are thick and full so went in for brow, chin and lip threading when I saw there was no wait. I asked the attendant to make them even, to shape them if needed. She threaded very quickly, painfully, and roughly and cut up the left side of my cheek. Then she proclaimed, "Done!" and stood behind the cash register. I had to clean myself off, and stand up to examine myself--no mirror was offered. I noticed that my brows were uneven so I asked to be adjusted. She came over, saw my critique, and threaded again only to return to the register again. I examined myself in the mirror again and told her that I still felt uneven as another client walked in and asked for a full face wax; she asked this new client to sit in the chair I was sitting in and then told me that my brows were too bushy and that is why they look uneven. No attempt to fix or appease me; it was all MY fault I looked so bad. I was deeply offended to be insulted in this way in front of my two awaiting children and another client. I promptly said, "That is not what I want to hear. I came in because I know I need help, and I don't want to hear you say that I'm too bushy." The attendance remained by the cash register, and the new client came over to comfort my distress. I ended up swallowing my hurt pride and paying. No tip. I ended up having to be fixed at another salon who was kind enough to give me up aloe for my cut lip/ chin area and fix the mess this rude woman made--after already spending $32. Do yourself a favor; stay away. read more

Avoid this place like the plague! Overconfident, rude staff and supremely overpriced services. What's-her-name (in my huffy rush to get out of there, forgot to get that name!) rushed through threading my eye brows, inadvertently ripped off a patch she shouldn't have and when I asked her to slow down, kept insisting it was deliberate and that she does this all day, so no biggie!! Then without checking with me, she splashed aloe - which my skin is strangely sensitive to. So obviously, I stopped her and asked for simple moisturizing lotion instead - to which she had the gall to tell me they "only apply aloe for threading"! 20 bucks for what costs 12 at the other threading salon in the same mall. She did a good job - average & comparable to anywhere else.. Could have traveled the extra miles to go to no Brunswick or highland park for $8 less.. Probably should have.. There is no extras.. Got my eyebrows done this afternoon for vacation, and now have 2 completely different shaped brows. I have very thick brows (which I love) and some how one of my brows is now the baby sister to my other brow. I tried this place twice just to make sure, but I was extremely disappointed with the quality of service. Both time my eyebrows have been uneven (and the last time I grew them out so they would start from a fresh base). Not only was the shaping poorly done and not symmetrical, but there are stray hairs left over everywhere that should have been cleaned up. For twelve Dollars (which is EXORBITANT for threading!) Like all the other reviews, I can not express enough how disappointment I am in the lack of professionalism and quality of this place. I have been here several times hoping that a different girl will change my mind. One of the women gave me a terrible burn around my eyebrows. Instead of listening to me that it hurt, she just kept talking about herself. Next I tried Sharmi (sp?), and while she was decent at her job, she was very unprofessional in the questions she asked me. One time I came in and saw her studying for her drivers ed exam and she asked me to help her study. I felt bad because she said she was alone here, so I did answer a few questions about driving in America. While I was annoyed, I decided to go back to her another time because I thought it was just a cultural miscommunication and she just needed help. The next, and last time that I went over there, she started discussing with me inappropriate topics such as her religion and even asking me immigration questions. My final straw was when she started questioning why I wasn't married yet. I felt she, as well as the other women working there are unprofessional and perform sub-par work but charge $12. Tonight I tried threading at Impressions salon in East Brunswick and was very happy with the service. read more

This place was horrible. After requesting my eyebrows to be as thick as possible and for a simple cleaning, the lady cut off half of my eyebrow shortening it so much more than it was and also making it significantly shorter than my other eyebrow. After I was angry and explained my frustration, she went on to yell at me and say I was wrong and was being extremely rude and asked for proof that she messed up. I then showed her a picture to which she made and excuse that she was just cleaning them and didn't do anything wrong. The service was absolutely horrendous and she did a horrible job. This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. I just left and am in tears. My eyebrows are naturally very full and even because I tweeze them myself but this women (who was on the phone and seemed so rushed throughout my appointment) made my eyebrows TWO DIFFERENT SHAPES she literally took off half of my left brow and both brows literally look nothing like each other. I have never been so dissatisfied and upset. Not to even mention how expensive it is for just threading. I am never going back and honestly no one should ever. I've had two good experiences here and one terrible one after which I will not be returning. I went to the Threading Station after a coworker (with fabulous brows) recommended it. She specifically said go to Sharmi. When I went the first time, a woman named Molo was there and she did a great job. Molo did my brows once more and again she did a nice job. I specifically went a third time on a Monday night (when Molo was supposed to be there) and instead there was a woman I did not recognize. I asked if Molo was available and she rambled something about how the schedule is never consistent. I then asked if she was Sharmi and she said no. I guess she could sense my apprehension (brows are serious business-you can't trust just anyone!) so she started going on saying, "I'm a professional, don't worry your brows are uneven now and I will fix them." I desperately needed my eyebrows done and I figured she was a professional like she said. Huge mistake. She spent probably 2 minutes with me in total, ripped off my brows in an attempt to make them "even", and then trimmed them to such excess that they've now grown in in random directions. She could tell I was unsatisfied and kept saying, "see now they're even," and even asked a customer waiting if she agreed but didn't even give her a chance to answer before taking my money and pushing me out the door. For the sake of my brows, I absolutely cannot return. read more

I got my eyebrows done before my sister's wedding. I was cut in 3 places and left with both eyebrows cut. I had to use vaseline in hopes of not having a healing red mark at the wedding. The lady said o had an ingrown hair which was bogus. Especially not in 3 places. Now I have a scar where one cut was really bad and my eyebrow won't grow back in right. Very disappointed with the service. They charge $12 for eyebrow threading which is pretty expensive, I usually have it done for $7-8. During making my brows, lady spoke with another lady. They spoke very loudly in their native language right next to my ear making it really uncomfortable for me. She just did threading, without cleaning up with tweezers and cutting. Absolutely horrible. They charge $12 to do subpar work. The lady hurriedly threaded under my eyebrow and then the next and said I was done (mind you, no one else was in the store). She gave me two different shaped eyebrows, one way too thin and the other thick. Most threaders take their time to examine the shape of your eyebrows and your face AND they ask how you want it, she just got right to it and did a horrible job. I can't believe I was forced to waste 12 dollars for something a 2-year-old could do better. Never again. read more

And I had been to various places and never ever the beautician asked me what you want to do with your eyebrows, because by looking at me they knew what they have to do. And they always did a fantastic job. And this time I went to this pricey place and I expected the same from the beautician but she ripped my eyebrow and said she just clean up. And on top of that,no apology instead of that she was shouting, taunting and threatening me. Then I called the owner and complained about her but I know just for the sake of customer repair she said few words on phone to that lady and told me you don't have to pay, which obviously I did'nt paid after such treatment and behavior. The beautician name was MADHU , she is thin and has dusky complexion. And lastly while I was leaving the the salon she was passing comment on me that these guys dont have to pay and just create chaos. Most important refunded money cannot grow my messed up eyebrow. So you guys think several time before step into such creepy places. And if this happen next time to anyone one of us just complain about them . Dont spare them, they dont deserve it.
