My daughter and I were having a good time shopping and picking out plants. Everything was great until it wasn't. When we got to the checkout we had a couple cut in front of us and I called them out to move to the back of the line to only be informed that these people have previously checked out and wanted to get something else quickly. The cashier didn't ask them to move to the back of the line of people waiting but continued to help them anyways. Which wasn't the worst part of my experience. My daughter was looking for yard decorations and wanted to show me something she thought was cool when a worker yelled across the room "HEY LITTLE GIRL DONT TOUCH THAT!!" Then continued to bend down and get close to my daughters face (who was already froze from being yelled at by some crazy old lady) and continued to tell her the item she was showing me was SO expensive and she would break it if she keeps messing with it. I told the lady she was fine meaning SHE'S OBVIOUSLY NOT GOING TO TOUCH IT ANYMORE and she looked at me and said "NO ITS NOT FINE" and continued telling her the $30 item cannot be touched by children and wouldn't stop until I told the women I GOT IT!! My daughter is 5. She was in my 5 year olds face and is incredibly lucky I didn't get into hers. My first initial thought was to leave my entire cart and let the rude employee put away the flowers I was shopping for but I ended up buying it so I could just get out of there. She completely ruined our experience and day after that with her horrible attitude. She was brunette wearing a bandana or whatever it was around her forehead. She wasn't nice, she didn't ask nicely, she surely doesn't know how to talk to children or to be professional. So if you have kids and enjoy going to greenhouses with them DO NOT COME HERE. They don't know how to treat little kids. ALSO most of their plants are diseased (zinnias, etc.) so buy with caution if you do happen to go here

I still don't understand how the apples were a bad crop because they tasted fine to me and I didn't get sick from them. Our group didn't have enough cash to pay for all of​ us to go through the corn maze. Instead of denying us, we were offered to pay as much cash as we could. I know the circumstances will be different next year, but I'm excited to see what Coleman's will offer next fall.

Tickets are $25/person and kids under 23 months are free! You have to walk a quarter of a mile to get to the main flower fields. It was not ideal for my FIL who has pain walking too much (it's not really worth paying for the tractor ride there either). They have lots of unique activities like a tractor pull that you can attempt for free and tires that kids can climb and take pics on. There is a "U pick" field where Tulips are $2/stem. That's expensive, no thank you! Then when you keep walking, there is a section where they have better bathrooms than the portapotties. And there are snacks like lemonade and you can even roast marshmallows! And then after that section, there is the flower field. I think it will be more worth it once my baby is older and can play on the playground and other activities like using their bikes.

A lot of places are still charging the same price for a 4 cell so keep that in mind. The plants looked really healthy this year so far. I love their Salad Bowls. I always pick up 2 or 3. It's great having access to fresh lettuce everyday. I also came looking for a couple Lemon Cypress trees. Sadly they don't carry them so that was a bit of a disappointment. We did leave with some herbs and vegetable plants though. TIP: Get here early in the season... The plants that they have in the first week or two of opening are a great deal for their size, a large 4" tomato plant will cost you less than $3.
