The house was ALSO located in Govt. Camp. Jon and his guys at Willamette Express really saved the day for us. His 2 guys worked non-stop once they arrived on site, were really careful with everything and even stayed a little later than we had initially given them timeframe-wise to help us finish the work we were trying to get done that day. The job was to move my furniture off my old carpet that I'd had for over 20 years and remove it to the dumpster downstairs. I had a new, Ruggable rug going down in its place. But first I had a bit of clean up to do. As I was sweeping 20 years worth of dirt, cat litter and car hair up from the perimeters that I hadn't seen in decades, it really wasn't as bad as I had imagined. The guys asked me if they wanted them to open and assemble another piece of furniture I had sitting out in the hallway while they were waiting for me to clean up the floor. I told them I would be very grateful if they would do that. It took them mere minutes. And I am very thankful that they did that. I finished my cleaning and they got to work on laying the rug. A Ruggable isn't a normal rug. It's got two pads that line up side by side and then the rug is laid down on top pressing out wrinkles as you go. It's kind of tedious. But I got the softest padding and they did a great job laying the rug. It's beautiful. I love it. And I love these guys. They took such care with my furniture and moved everything right back to where it belonged. Their rates are the best. So much so I booked them to move my old futon out of here and move up my new loveseat. Unfortunately, an unforeseen emergency came up which is completely understandable. I hired Green Gloss Cleaners for a move-out job a year ago, and they did a great job in my 500…read moresquare foot space. A year later, I hired them again for two other move-out jobs. This one was about 1400 square feet. After 3.5 hours, they said they were finished. I did a walk through and found so many spots that were still dirty. I asked for those spots to be redone (there were quite a few), did another walkthrough, and ended up having to clean it again myself. Instead of offering to do a second walkthrough to make sure they didn't miss anything else, they just stood around waiting for me to point more stuff out once they thought they were finished with the spot I pointed out. For example, there were a bunch of facial hair shavings in a drawer that got missed. I asked if they could go back to clean it. They did and came back downstairs, so I went up and checked, and there were still hairs in it! So I ended up cleaning them out since I needed to get back to work quickly and didn't have time to find every last thing that didn't get cleaned in this house. As I've done a couple more walkthroughs, I've found things that need to be cleaned that are absolutely not excusable. If I'm paying $400 to have a space cleaned, part of that is for a cleaner to be able to see what needs to be cleaned and to take care of it. I canceled the third cleaning job and wouldn't recommend this company to anyone if you're counting on the space actually being clean. EDIT: I offered the option to come earlier in the day to avoid the heat or to use the air conditioner, and they chose not to do either of those. I did not receive any communication that the upstairs was too hot or that a fan was needed (which I could have provided). The cleaner said she wiped down all of the walls. The attached photo is of fingerprints left on a door.

Five Stars for Big River Junk Hauling!…read more I cannot recommend Big River Junk Hauling enough. After a really frustrating experience with another company (they gave me a 7-day pickup window, showed up in a pickup with MAGA stickers, and still left junk behind!), I was dreading dealing with my moving mess again. As I fixed up my old house, I kept accumulating more junk--plus furniture no one would take off my hands. I started calling around, but most places either didn't answer, never called back, or quoted me outrageous prices ($1,800-$2,500+). I was about ready to give up when I finally called Big River. From the very first call, Steve was incredible--he answered immediately, gave me a clear all-inclusive quote ($550 for a whole truck), and was able to come out the very next day. He arrived exactly on time at the start of his 30-minute window, with a helper who was just as kind and professional. They worked lightning fast, sorted items responsibly (separating hazardous materials, metal, wood, etc.), and fit as much as possible into the truck. We ended up needing two trips, but they came right back, reloaded in record time, and still cost only a fraction of what the big national companies wanted. Steve and his team were polite, efficient, and truly went above and beyond. If I could shout their name from the rooftops, I would. Hopefully I'll never have that much junk again--but if I do, I'll be calling Big River without hesitation.
