The fairways are tight, though, so if you constantly slice or hook, it might not be the best place for you unless you always want to be hitting out of the adjacent hole's fairway. It's fairly well maintained for a par 3 course, easy to walk and there's beautiful nature to observe! They do take tee times online, though that isn't a bonus to me since I like being able to show up and tee off anytime. However it does let you plan ahead a bit! All in all, it isn't anything super fancy, but for a par 3 course in the cities, it's a good option.

Each time, I have got a water only and there are plenty of nearby garbages to toss items when finished. Lastly, the range has the big 10 sports logos on the green which will measure the distance. The parking is pretty limited and some of the spots are tight but we were both able to find spots. The holes have some elevation changes and there are a lot of mature trees. Some of the greens are a mess due to people not fixing ball marks. But most are in good shape. The course gets a lot play. The cart paths could use some maintenance too. There is a ranger on the course to keep people moving and we played our round in under 4 hours! The club house is over a 100 years old and is in great condition. There's a snack bar on the lower level with sandwiches and hot dogs. I will definitely be back.

It's a 'confidence builder' course meaning not too long, and not a lot of water and sand. Fairways are open and, even if you don't end up in the fairway, you typically aren't in a precarious situation. In other words, a course I like. As a first time player here, it wasn't hard to figure out where to aim. There are not a lot of blind shots. Also another plus. It felt slow because they jam pack the tee times, but we played 18 holes in about 4 hours so it wasn't bad. I would definitely come back to play here.
