Then Annie took over for venue coordination when Meredith went on maternity leave and she was amazing as well! Very responsive to her emails especially as we got to closer to the wedding and answering all of my questions. The day of wedding staff was amazing! They took care of everything and the day ran so smoothly. They even put a water station out by my ceremony site due to the hot weather which I didn't even have to ask. At dinner they were very quick with getting the food out and omg the food was amazing! We got so many compliments with the food! Overall, recommend getting married here!

Flowers were beautiful. The price is a bit steeper than most public courses in the Twin Cities area but it is lovely. Maybe a special occasion course.

The interior was much more spacious than others I've been in, with the golf bays being nice and open. I really appreciated that as some have made me feel closed in. The screen was large and the buttons on the floor were kind of nice rather than having to use the screen to adjust. The mulligan button was hard to use if you weren't fast enough, but we didn't need it often. We didn't grab food or drinks this time but it smelled amazing, and I will definitely be back in the future!

The course has done a lot of work to plant native plants and it was buzzing with pollinators, quite lovely. The sand was a little rough but overall the course was in excellent shape, especially considering how dry it has been this summer. It is a very tight course. Lots of fairly straight holes going backs and forth. It's not uncommon to have golfers from another hole on your fairway, taking a rather unexpected angle onto their green. We found ourselves there on occasion. We played relatively fast, about 4 hours for 18 holes. Most tee times were filled so it was busy.

I respect my elders and took my 9 hole rain check and walked out. P.S shot a 46 on the front-2hr and 40 minute 9 hole death march. Horrible tore up fairways. Over watered greens full of ball marks. While it is a hike to Cottage Grove,…read moreit is one of those rare public courses where there are mature trees, top-notch greens, decent layout with views of the river, nice homes, woodlands, and water. While not overly long, shot placement makes a big difference. Plus, I holed in from 110 yards on lucky #13!!!! Also - play moves along - we've played twice and have gotten in under 4 hours and under 4.5 hours.
