Came here one Saturday night for some grub and brews, both accomplished accordingly. I ordered 2 different flights, allowing me to try 4 different beers. I enjoyed every beer I tried! I ordered a pizza, which I had to do on the app, and was told I'd be notified when it's ready and I would have to go upstairs and get it. I was recovering from surgery and couldn't do so. I told the bartender and he was a little reluctant to offer to get it for me, but he did. Need a little more love for the disabled folks! Pizza was delicious. This was my second time at Atlantucky, and every time is somehow better than the last time. I rave about this brewery to anyone who will listen because they have some of the best wings EVER, so I'm always excited for someone to visit so that I can plot a trip to Atlantucky. This time, I took my mom, who I knew would love it since we are from Kentucky, and growing up, she really loved the Nappy Roots. But more than that, I knew she would love the food. I had the hazy chicken pizza, which was absolutely flavorful. We each had our own flight of beer. We also shared the Cajun wings, and my mom got the No Static Panini. My 2nd favorite brewery in Atlanta! (my first was Halfway Crooks which the folks here actually recommended I also go to!) All of the beers were solid and had some good variation. They had your typical hazy IPA, your more rare light lager, and then your wildcare chile spiced beer. All were great! I thought it was cool that the festbier was called "Nappy Roots" and then when my Lyft driver picked me up he was like "that's the brewery owned by the Nappy Roots rappers right?!" I'm a huge fan of tomato-based sauces when it comes to pizza, so for me personally, that would've really taken it to the next level. That said, I can appreciate the creative twist they're going for. The use of collard greens, romaine lettuce, and Caesar dressing is an unconventional combo, and while it might not be the perfect match for my personal taste, I respect the effort to do something different. I also tried the Hazy Chicken pizza. That one wasn't quite for me, mainly because it's a barbecue sauce-based pizza, and I'm just not the biggest fan of BBQ sauce on pizza. But if that's your thing, you'll probably enjoy it - the ingredients were fresh and well-balanced, just not in my flavor wheelhouse. Overall, I really like the bold approach to pizza here. The quality is solid, the crust had a nice texture, and they clearly care about doing something that stands out. It was tasty but a little much for a late night, so I settled on the Eldon and Northside pale ale. Wow! Delicious, with light citrus notes and a great grain bill to bring some earthy flavors along with a smooth finish. Highly recommended! Along with a 2 level tasting room and two separate bars (one is fully stocked), they have a nice patio, plenty of seating, and TVs that are well placed. To me this joint has no weak spots. The last time I was there was for an event, and we rented the whole joint out. It has upstairs and downstairs (upstairs where the bar is and downstairs is where the beer is) so you have room to move around. Also, is an area for being outside if you wanted to get some air or smoke a cigar or something like that. They have heat lamps so if its too cold, you dont need to freeze to death too. As an FYI, there is street parking, and there are a couple of lots around the area as well. Depending on the day, those lots could cost you so just be aware. They have a nice sized bar selection upstairs and it has seats too so if you wanted to sit down at a table instead of a bar, then that would be okay. There is even a couch or two up there as well if you wanted to lounge. All the bartenders were super cool and gave us a lot of smiles and respect.' The downstairs has the beer bar where you get your beer taps, they have multiple brands to pick from (several are homegrown internal brands). They have a huge dance floor type area, if you wanted some room, and a DJ stage area, so if you needed to move and shake, this would have no problem accommodating you. The do not have food, but I have been where they call in some food vendors to handle that issue (it probably depends on the day and time) but there are areas around there to eat at if you were hungry. Stopped by this spot during my recent Atlanta trip and I felt like I definitely stopped at one of the best breweries in the city. I'm from Cali and was told service in Georgia was a bit different, but man...Atlantucky was an 11/10. The beertender that greeted me was friendly and personable when it came to the beers. I went with the flight of Lord Sauce, Ale Ale Cool J, West Coast IPA (Of Course) and Runner Runner Lemon...at least that's what it says on my receipt. I didn't take a picture of the menu, so I don't remember the names. I do remember they have 14 beers on tap, so there is something for everyone. I enjoyed my flight and decided to get a second round of Lord Sauce, which was their stout. When I closed my tab, I asked for a printed receipt because I normally try to include names in my reviews. A whole other beertender closed me out and told me the receipt didn't print at her spot, but she would go grab it. As she came back from the other spot, she said it wasn't there and someone would check upstairs. I said thank you and sat down, expecting to not get the receipt. A few minutes later, after it honestly slipped my mind, she walked over with my receipt and a smile on her face. Best service I received throughout my trip. There was a music event going on and they had a DJ, which gave the vibe in the place a 10/10 as well. So this was not my first rodeo with Atlantucky I will never find down a great beer with wheat and a good stout being my go to. This place is conveniently located blocks away from the Mercedes Benz stadium, it's easy to find but parking can be really tricky. Hand crafted beers is a thing here. Watching a cold brew being extracted from the tap gets my tastebuds going. I absolutely loved that they allow local artists display their work and you may find a food truck pulling up as well. I found out about this place on Uber Eats. Everything was delicious. The pizza sauce had a slightly sweet taste, the beef was ground, the pepperonis delicious and just an overall good flavor that is unique to Atlanta. I attended this event as a guest of an yelp elite Atlanta squad. Only thing sucked about this place was the parking. Oh...my...Gawd! The even occurred on a Friday evening while the falcons was having a preseason game and it wAs a mess. However, the beer was a great way to relax and unwind after fighting Friday afternoon traffic, lol! I'm not a beer drinker and the "guy at the bar" was very patient while I go back n forth between flavors and questions. So service was A1! I ended up with a beer that hand lemonade in it? I think the sand-dusky? I can't remember....but all that means Is you have to go down there for yourself and try it out, lol. I hadnt heard much about this brewery other than it was black owned so I was happy to visit and learn more. This is the second black owned brewery in Georgia and is owned by the hip hop group Nappy Roots. They were there to give tours of the brewery and talk about their beer making process and how it differs from other breweries. I enjoyed all of the black history facts about beer and how the process was first discovered by women in Mesopotamia. I also loved all the black art decorating the place. The food vendors were delicious. Especially ATL Seafood bags. I had to get a seafood eggroll to go. I could definitely see myself bringing my friends here for a little black history over beers. read more

Went for the soft opening. I appreciated that the bouncer at the door was checking temperatures and everyone was required to wear a mask to enter. It's a great space and there was a good music selection being played by a couple of live DJs. I'm not a huge beer drinker but I did try the 3 beers they had on tap: Nappy Goat, On My Way to GA, and KY Mud. The On My Way to GA had a welcoming, fruity, peach smell to it but was too bitter for my palette. The Nappy Goat was definitely a sour beer, but not as sour as others I have tasted in the past. The KY Mud was by far my favorite. It was a stout and surprisingly I could taste the chocolate and vanilla notes in it. I'm excited to have this Black-Owned (Nappy Roots venture) brewery in city and I think the space has a lot of potential. There's seating upstairs if you're seeking a tad bit more quiet. The pies (pizzas and paninis) were delicious, and so were the salads. The beer was good. Personally, I love a really dark -sweeter, more mellow notes- porter and/or stout. Usually accompanied by a higher ABV. I wished that there were a few more from which to choose. I first came to Atlantucky for a Yelp elite event but today I came on my own and brought my family with me. I had already tried almost every beer they had so I mainly recommended options for my step dad and my mother to try with their flight. They enjoyed every beer option and were so happy I brought them here. I tried the Peach Believe Me beermosa which was highly recommended by the manager Boogie and this beermosa is so so good and I had two and was great after those lol. I also love that Atlantucky is family friendly because I had my toddlers with me. The beertender also gave me two cups of simply peach juice for them that they enjoyed. It's one of the only two black owned breweries in the country. It's a nano brewery and has an excellent beer selection. My favorites were the Jalapeño kolsch and New England style IPA. I went for a yelp event as a first timer and was impressed! The place is open, loft feel and Also has a private event space which is chic with couches and it's own seperate bar. They have many events and I'll be coming back for the hip hop events as i expect it to be nothing but extraordinary. All the art on display is local and for sale. Definitely check it out. Parking is limited but is walk-in distance from the Benz for after game shenanigans. read more
