I got the holy grail mascara (Koji Dolly) here and it is a few dollars cheaper than Amazon! I also got a box of Korean masks, which is also cheaper than I normally get from Nordstrom Rack! While charming, they weren't able to stay in business. The interior funnels the old drug store, with the old paint and marks from the shelving still on the walls. The staff here are incredibly patient and helpful. I came in here with a largish group (5+ people) and they were kind and helpful, letting us try many things and helping us with our purchases, while still serving other customers that came into the store. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing and minimal, and the people working only served to reinforce that, with offers of chilled water and soft voices and so much information about the design of the interior and skincare as a whole. It is a very pricey store, but all Aesops are. I genuinely appreciate how each one moulds itself to the area surrounding, while still holding onto the flair that makes it the store I love.

My order was supposed to be ready in about an hour & the store inside wasn't busy, so I went in to ask if I could help pick out the items I purchased for online pickup and bring it to the counter to scan out to quicken the process. The store associate told me that this works, so I went to pick out all the stuff that I had placed an order for and brought it to the counter. Then she proceeds to try to charge me for all the items I gave her to scan instead of just going by the online order. I guess she didn't know how to do online pickup orders and got confused but she wanted to refund my online order and have me repurchase everything. I didn't want to do this since I didn't really see the point in doing so. Instead, I just waited until my order was fulfilled later in the day & picked up my order an hour after all of this. I feel like an online pickup order shouldn't have been this difficult & if my order couldn't be fulfilled in time or earlier, it would've been okay to have said so.

The shampoo and conditioner bars are $10-15, a lot more than what a Garnier product would at Rite Aid, but they certainly last a lot longer and come with the satisfaction of not adding more plastic to our lives. You do have to come prepared, but that is more of a hassle associated with trying to live at a plastic minimum in an economy that wants everything in plastic packages. I find their website, which lists every product they have, really helpful for planning in advance! It might be useful to see an approximate list of prices there as well, to assist in financial planning as well as what containers to buy, though. The staff is helpful and ready to answer any questions, and really open to suggestions about what customers would like to see in the store! I hope this business continues to grow.

I usually just walk around the store and half the time I know what I want to buy. However, this time around I wanted to try a new foundation. I approached one of the sales associates and asked to have my foundation match. Hailey (Haley) was more than happy to assist me. She match me without even using the color matching machine (since the foundation I wanted was more like a light coverage). She gave me a sample to try at home and answer all my questions. She gave me her full attention and is very knowledgeable about all the products. She never once try to push me to buy an item or discourage me to try a certain product. She was friendly from the beginning to the end of our conversation. Immediately after she was helping another client. I was blown away by how great her service is and will continue to come here.
