My appointment was at 10:15 a.m. and she had consulted with me, washed, applied color, cut, dry and styled my hair in an hour! For context, my wife broke her shoulder a week ago and hence found it difficult to clean / manage her hair with one hand. The business owner should ensure it hires employees that know how to treat customers professionally, with courtesy and respect. Not employees who tell their customers "your hair is so dirty!" I realized I was running late for my appointment and I called the Plush Beauty Bar to see what I could do given my emergent need to figure something out (like I have crying employees and need to inform next of kin etc but can make it to my appt if you give me a few minutes...). I was informed that despite my extenuating circumstances, someone dying at my place of employment and my immediate role in needing to manage that crisis, there was nothing Plush Beauty Bar could do. The staff member informed me I had called a little too late to work something out and that my visit would be considered a no show and would require the full price of service. I understand the cancellation policy and I was willing to come in and rebook, spend the money that was owed to the technician, tip well, was trying to figure something out. I offered to show my business card or do anything to illustrate that this isn't just something I made up. Despite these efforts and several tears, Plush Beauty Bar was unwilling to give me some grace and work with me given my circumstances. Hope this helps!
